This is a solid entry into 4K. Great HDR picture running off the 4K xbox one. HDR technology truly shines and the fast refresh rate just keeps things crisp and smooth. A great purchase, video quality is superb and audio quality isn't the best but very solid for what comes with the Tv. The tablet aswell is solid but rarely use it, the standard remote is what I'm using more. Many ports for all my devices and many features to tweak your viewing experience.

After reading numerous 4k tv reviews ok CNET and elsewhere I decided to pull the trigger on this. I couldn't be happier for the price! Of course OLED is better, but also 3x more money.

I really love this TV. Quality for the value can not be beat. it's 4K, has HDR support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10, and features an easy to use GoogleCast interface. The tablet remote is a great idea and work well once set up. I did experience an issue with a buzzing noise the TV was making. Nothing deafening, but noticeable and annoying. I contacted Vizio, and they are going to ship a new TV to me and do a clean swap. Couldn't ask for better customer service, that is why i am giving it a 4/5. They acknowledged my issue quickly and provided a solution that was more than acceptable after spending more than $1000 on a TV.

A great picture but not the smartest tv. The picture is great not one single thing to not like about it and all the possible settings. One thing I researched and found out is that I needed to change my cable box to display 1080i instead of default 1080p. When I made the change I got full use of the screen and not black bars across top and bottom. Television is broadcast in 1080i and DVD players and games are displayed in 1080p. This Vizio is the reason I found this out and had to research. When I was at 1080p all my HD cable channels displayed in 720p and was getting frustrated at this. After changing video mode or picture mode it would display in the top right corner, no other TV had shown this. When I changed cable box to 1080i I got full screen and it said 1080i. When I used the Samsung 4K player it displayed 2060p, so I knew I figured out the correct thing. Thank good this tv showed this because my older Samsung 4K has been displaying in 720p and I never knew it and my HD channels that I had been paying for were kind of useless. What I don't like is having to cast and not having apps on the tv, it is basically a display monitor without apps or a tv tuner which I knew going in. Just not a fan of casting. Remote options stink but I have a surround sound system with an excellent universal remote. Also did not realize only hdmi1 is 2.0 all others are 1.4 and CANNOT do 4K sources such as Samsung 4K player. Other than that, picture quality is excellent. Was deciding between this Vizio, LG UH7700 or 8500 I forget, Sony 850 series and Samsung 8000 series. That order was cheapest to most expensive and I am quite happy with the slightly less picture quality than the expensive Samsung which was far and away hands down best picture of the 4. But I am happy saving almost $600 for a display monitor with a single 4K capable hdmi. The savings gives me wiggle room and a reason to upgrade in two years to an 80"+ when price come way down. Very happy with my decision. On a side note.l, I purchased the Samsung 4K player to test quality of a true 4K HDR sourced movie against one from and online source such as vudu.com and fandangonow.com and saw little difference. Decided to return 4K player and buy online 4K HDR movies. Happy the Vizio is HDR10 and Dolby Vision capable. I researched a lot and tested a lot of sources and feel pretty accurate with my findings. Hope this helps others with their decisions. I give it 4.5 stars. The having to cast for apps from a smart phone or tablet and not from tv plus the fact that only 1 hdmi is 2.0 is why it is not 5 star, but I guess it should give it 5 since it was the cheapest of the 4 and saved me $600 from the Samsung I was leaning towards. Again, hope this helps.

I've owned Vizio tv's for years and years now. Never had one go bad yet (just aged out tech-wise so I hand them down to youngsters bedrooms). This one has an amazing picture, is HDR and 4K, and the price was pretty good. It's even cheaper now than when I bought it a few months ago. I can't recommend this brand enough. I tell everyone who is looking for a new TV to give Vizio a shot.

I'm enjoying these high-quality pictures and it shows in 4K with Ultra HD content. Also, I really love the Android tablet control remote comes with it because I can do many things with it such as, ordering Hulu and Netflix movies and I don't even have to do it with the U-Verse remote control any longer. It user friendly and the resolution and performance is awesome.....

After a lot of research and reading reviews I decided to go with the M-Series. It boasts many features that are appealing on paper but left me disappointed. Pros: • the tablet the comes with the TV is awesome and Google cast works great. • 4K content and both HDR programming looks amazing. • Very good price point Cons: • The upscaling on this unit is horrible! Watching anything 1080P or below and the content is not clear or crisp as you would like. Especially for football. • the screen does not get bright. Defeats the purpose of HDR • I could never really dial in this TV get the most out of it. Even using the Rtings.com calibration settings looked very off. • Not all HDMI inputs are equal, some support different formats and speeds. A headache if using multiple devices! Overall I could not live with this TV. I returned it 2 weeks later to Best Buy. I would only recommend if Netflix is all you'll be watching on this. Only thing I really miss is the tablet remote. Went with the Samsung ks8000 series for a 700$ price difference. Waiting on delivery. Stay tuned.

Superior picture quality and ease of set-up. We enjoy watching all different genres of entertainment. Family and friends have now began to visit more and now we have Movie Night at our home. We connected a sound bar and now we save money by not going to the movie theatre as often as we once did.

This home theater monitor has a perfect picture out of the box. One of the presets is listed as calibrated where vizio has automatically set all the conditions for you. Makes it alot easier! Vcast is really neat and makes things easier with the 6 inch tablet. Definitely fun to use. The backlighting grid makes lighting seem perfect on screen. Would recommend this tv for everyone.

Probably the best TV in its class for the price. Great picture, amazing colors especially in a dark room. It comes with a tablet for use as a remote, however there is an app for most popular smart phones. 4K picture looks great if you have the 4K media to watch.

To forward, I did return this product and upgraded to the KS8000. Overall, basic picture quality for this set is great. I was really looking forward to the tablet interface but was sincerely let down by it in practice. Additionally, this should NOT be advertised as a HDR display. While the panel is 10 bit, the processor is 8 bit + dithering. A combination of this fact + lack of brightness really does not increase any viable HDR content.

I did my research and this television was at the right price point and the reviews commented on how wonderful this tv was at such a great price. This television was everything we were looking for! The tablet is a nice touch, but we haven't utilized it as much as we probably should. It does allow for easy Netflix watching (we tried that at least). The resolution is perfect - exceeded our expectations, and the screen size - it's like having a movie theater in our family room! Watching the big game on it, makes you feel as though you are there. I highly recommend this television! Plus, we have the Vizio sound bar with surround sound also, which makes our movie and tv show watching all the more enjoyable!

Bought this display based on reviews of prior Vizio Display customers, although it was a new model for 2016. The display is exactly what it says it is and it worked as expected, right out of the box. I wanted the HDR but have yet to actually see it come thru, other then on a Stream - where it was pretty good for color. Hope to see more as it comes along. Had a slight problem with it 'sticking' on a frame but with a tip from the Vizio site, this has not occurred again recently. The quality of the picture is basically 'AS GOOD AS IT GETS". Enjoy.

My DLP died and it was time to find a replacement. There were many choices that met our budget. The Vizio 'M' series display exceeded our expectations. There is nothing cheap or inexpensive about the quality of our picture. Only using the factory default settings, we are experiencing TV at a whole new level. We are very happy with this purchase, so much so we spent a little more for Geek Squad's extended warranty and in home services!
