Posted .Hello DarcyJ, we greatly appreciate your feedback. There is multiple loaded picture setting such as Calibrated or Vivid on this TV to adjust the display for a variety of viewing experiences. There are also many manual adjustments to settings that you can make. Try adjusting the Black detail or manual brightness controls as making some adjustments here may improve your viewing experience overall, especially on dark scenes.
