Tried to Like this TV, but never gets good.

So I was looking to get a new tv. I previously had a Samsung TV which was High Definition 1080p TV from 2007 which was still decent and looked good, however the screen started to lose color at the top right hand corner so I started to look into getting a new tv. My criteria was at least 65 inch TV with at least 4 hdmi ports and under $700. This was the top rated tv in that range at the time. I have had this tv for several months and I have tried to like this tv, but it just stinks. The picture quality doesn't compare to competitors which my family and friends have. I have tried adjusting the settings and I have tried to follow helpful tips and I have even had a close family member who works with tv's and monitors take a look and the performance never shows up on this tv. Whether viewing bluray or xbox, playstation, or dvd or cable. It looks crappy and not sharp. The picture on my Samsung was much sharper and now I regret not spending the extra money on a new tv. the controller stinks, it is small and looks cheap, be prepared to aim it just right at the tv. I would rate this TV 0 stars if I could, but no option to. At this point I feel stuck with this tv. Best Buy sells some good quality items, I hope they don't get caught up with too many duds like this tv.

Hello NicknameHappens, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    Not 4k, not 120hz

Don't buy this TV, Ive owned more than a few Vizios and I gotta say I'm really disappointed in the TV and the misleading information and specifications, Not only is the true refresh rate NOT 120hz, But apparently it's also not 4k. My ps4 pro which supports 4k says my TV doesn't, that maybe there's a setting in the TV that needs changed for 4k support, but there's no such setting, My ps4 pro is running at 1080p and 60hz refresh rate.. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT... there is NO REASON WHAT SO EVER why A 4k TV should NOT SUPPORT 4k DEVICES!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this to replace my 70in D series that started to turn purple after only 2 years. Against my better judgement i got this TV willing to give them another chance. Turns out it came defective with a dark spot on the screen. After waiting on line, wasting time with their horrible customer service, and now having to haul this piece of junk back to best buy, i can safely say i will never recommend or buy another vizio in my lifetime.

No TV Guide for Over the Air TV

This only applies to those who watch over-the-air TV from an antenna. The E65-F1 doesn't have a TV Guide that lists the channels, and what show is on each channel. I use it all the time to see what show is on when. I consider this a basic, and absolutely necessary feature. My old cheap TV has a channel guide, and the tuner box I owned before it had one. I would not have bought this TV had I known, and I may return it.

VIZIO stopped including a guide in our television as most cable and satellite companies require a box that has a guide built in. VIZIO

after about 20 days of owning the TV white horizontal lines started flashing all over the screen I looked into it and apparently it's a common problem with the e series Vizio TVs I will be returning it for a different TV, I purchased it because of the price and value and picture quality but unfortunately this is not acceptable

Horrible product. Starting turning on and off on it's own after only 1 year and a half of owning, called Vizio and they were super rude. Customer service "Yep, it's broken and your out of warranty sorry can't help you" "You should just get it fixed or buy a new tv" Wow, really? Pay the extra money and go with a better company!

I enjoyed our first 42 inch Vizio tv. I decided to go up to a 65 and thought it would be even better . I was very disappointed. I felt it was blurry even watching the news. Football was terrible to try and watch. We returned our new vizio and got a Sony . I am very happy

I purchased this tv and was really excited got it home in time for the big game and no tv legs for my tv stand. Very frustrated as I was told to bring the tv back. After wrestling it back just got my money back and ordered a TCL 6 series. I gave Vizio a chance but they let me down.

You get what you pay for. There’s a reason this tv is $300-400 less than other 4K HDR TVs. The picture is dark and the colors are washed out. Red looks like orange. Do not buy this tv. I returned mine. BUY THE P SERIES! It’s great.
