We've had this since the end of January 2019 (4 months). So far we love it! Always a great picture no matter what we are watching. Even the battle of winterfell looked awesome on this screen... I've been very impressed with the scaling engine in the TV, it can take a 720P source and make it look fantastic! Our room is rather dark when we normally watch TV, but I've not been disappointed when watching something and having the room bright during the day. I'd be a bit leery of this TV if the room was going to be very bright consistently while watching, I don't think the screen would be able to get bright enough. That would be my only concern with this TV so far. There was recently a firmware update that allowed the TV to display material encoded in dolbyvision from and XBOX OneX. I'm glad Vizion took the time to include the 2018 models in the update. I've only watched 2 things encoded in dolbyvision, but I liked it. Seemed to have a bit more polish and pop to the material than that encoded in HDR10. Overall, this has been a fantastic TV so far. Very happy with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 65" screen on a budget. We don't use the smart features or the TV speakers, so won't comment on those aspects.

We waited 9 years to upgrade our old Samsung 55 inch tv and after many reviews we decided on the Vizio E model. For the price of admission this tv is simply amazing. The colors, blacks and clarity are good, very good and that is what is mostly important for any TV. The upscaling isn’t bad but this is where Vizio needs to apply more effort along with the smart functions. Now my biggest issue is the motion with this model. It handles most everything very well but struggled when the camera was panning. There is an easy fix (sorry but the explanation will be vague) just turn on the setting that increases the motion and the tv does really well during panning scenes however the unfortunate drawback is you lose some lighting which in hand effects details in HDR content. Just to show you the great value of this tv we returned the E series tv for a Samsung Q6 (didn’t care for it) and finally wound up with the LG C8 tv, almost 4 times the cost of the E series Vizio. Four times the cost to get the extra few things the Vizio didn’t check off on our wants list. If you want value the E series is a winner. If you want to spend a little more try the M series Vizio.

I choose this Vizio TV over the similar size, function and priced Samsung because it has Google Chromecast built in, but the drawback is that it does not include Sling as one of the applications for the "Smart" TV functionality. This is also the entry level TV for this size which uses 12 back light panels compared to more (not sure how many) for the next level TV. The problem is that you can easily see these 12 light sections if the background is dark but words or some other small areas of movement (like the little processing circle that is popular when the internet is buffering) is on screen the back lighting follows the movement which looks weird. I would also say that the black is not quite as good in regular mode as compared to the demo mode so a little washed out in regular viewing situations and program. Otherwise the image looks good.

We purchased this TV a month ago and we are very happy with it. We were surprised to find out that Pluto TV is included for free. We haven't had cable in over 5 years and have been relying on our Amazon Prime subscription for video, but with over 150 channels included for free, we are going to ditch Amazon and use this app. The downside is that this TV is absolutely 100% NOT compatible with older gaming systems that are 240i (NES, N64, etc). I was looking forward to playing Mario Kart 64 on the 65 inch screen, but there is no way to get it to run. I've tried adapters and cables, I've contacted Best Buy and the Geek Squad for help, and I went to online forums. There is no way to make it happen. Pros of the TV: -Great picture quality -Surprise Pluto TV app with 150+ channels for free -Easily accessible HDMI ports Cons: -A little slow to connect to WiFi when first turning the TV on -Older gaming consoles are absolutely not supported

I have had this TV for about a month now and I really enjoy watching television on it. I love the fact that it has built in apps such as YouTube, Netflix, etc. It’s awesome how the apps support Ultra 4K streaming! The big bonus with VIZIO is that you get a feature named WatchFree which has some tv channels for free! Some cons of this TV is that it unfortunately does not come with Bluetooth to pair with Bluetooth speakers and the software on this TV can be a bit buggy and sometimes annoying. Some pros of this TV are google assistant, great price, VIZIO SmartCast app, Dolby Vision, HDR, Dolby sound, and soon VIZIO will soon be releasing a software update for Apple AirPlay. I would give this TV 5 stars but like I said the current software on it is a bit buggy so that’s why it gets a 4 star review.

This is the second Vizio that we have bought. We still have the first one from many years ago and its going strong and doing great just moved it to the bedroom. Wanted a new bigger TV for the living room. Almost went with the 70 inch but didn't want to pay the extra. This is more than big enough for our needs. The picture quality is good, its not like the top shelf 4K stuff, but more than enough for our needs. For the price I would have given it 5 stars, but my only complaint is with the speakers. We have a good sized living room and the speakers in this TV just don't get it done. They get loud, but the sound quality just isn't there. I know that this is the way it seems for most TVs anymore. I am about to hook a sound bar up to it so I can get better sound quality.

The E65-F1 is a good television for a reasonable price. The Smartcast UX isn't amazing and having a set number of built-in apps--with Chromecast streaming for apps on a phone or tablet--manages to be both sufficient and somewhat underwhelming. The built-in Amazon Prime Video app does not support HDR, but that's more Amazon's fault than Vizio. Picture quality is as good as is reasonable to expect at this device tier, but limited by source content like any other TV. It upscales non-4k input acceptably but not amazingly. For 65" TVs, it's worth stretching your budget a little for this model if you're initially looking to spend 600-700. If your budget is higher, the M series or TCL 6 series might be preferable.

Pros... Pretty good picture both clarity and color vibrance Easy set up Easy to wall mount Good futures Smart enough Good value for the TV price point Would recommend as a TV 4k upgrade My PS4 pro looks awesome on it. Cons.. Only real complaint is the sound volume and leveling features do not work well. For different inputs the sound even at the same number can vary wildly Music and background noise will over power the conversation quite a bit.. My surround sound helps quite a bit.. but at good conversation levels the neighborhood may hear the music and action..lol.

When I first purchased this Vizio Tv 65 E Series I was unfortunate to buy a broken tv there was a straight line across the tv screen when the power was on which at first I thought it was the settings but ended up being a manufacturer defect. I ended up taking the Tv back to Best Buy the very next day and the return process was great explained what was going on and the tv was replaced immediately. So after setting up the new tv was extremely satisfied with the picture quality and sound besides buying the broken tv the first time I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a new Tv.

First, for all the low reviews, those people don't realize that when you buy a 4K UHD TV you need to be watching 4K content in order to get the highest quality picture. If you are only watching HD the bigger the TV the fuzzier the picture will look. For this TV the only negatives I have are that if you bump the TV it will turn off but that's probably by design, and also that you have to adjust the settings per your own preferences. The standard settings aren't that good. Overall though it's a great TV with a great picture when you are actually watching 4K content and that's what counts.

Vizio is a solid TV brand. although many don't think so. If you don't want to break the bank Vizio is a the way to go. 4K picture is good, but not as good as I thought. family member got a Samsung and I thought the same thing, picture not as goos I thought. BE SURE TO TURN ON THE 4K IN THE SETTINGS!! SOMETHING NO ONE TELLS YOU TO DO! Easy to navigate, sound is good (sound bar is the way to go though) Definitely takes a while to perfect the picture that satisfies you.

This is a great tv for someone that is looking for a general TV. The picture is what you give up for the price. It’s good, but just not great. Hard to watch sports as the contrast seems to blend the players in with the background. But that is expected with a TV of this price. Speaker is good, the User interface on the Vizio TVs seems to work real well. All in all it’s a decent TV for the money, just don’t be expected to be blown away

We bought this last year and it’s been a great TV. The picture quality is really nice, as to be expected from Visio. The only issue that I have is that the volume needs to be up pretty high to hear anything. We bought a sound bar so that’s helped tremendously. Most TVs, though, at 65” need a separate sound bar. Other than that, I have no complaints. I’d recommend it.

I was a little hesitant to make this purchase at first due to the mixed reviews I read online. However, I am so happy that I bit the bullet, the quality you get from this tv for the price I paid is so incredible. The only complaint I have is the volume varies from one output to the other, and I find myself needing to adjust it often when switching, however not the biggest deal. Would recommend this tv!

This television has great tech with it and I love the fact that it has 4 HDMI but the picture is nothing special honestly even with 4K signal it still looks very much like a 1080p TV you're looking for wet glossy high-def stuff I don't think this is your TV. The app store for all the alternative channels that you can watch without needing cable services is fantastic.

The only real issue that I had, other than it being damaged when I got it, was the glare of light on the TV. Other than that, it has a good picture for the cost. I swapped out the LG SK8000 and wouldn’t go back, and also got the Sony XBR7F and thought it was the best of the three, but the Vizio was definitely the cheapest, and not far off. So, a good worthwhile priced TV

Picture quality is amazing on this tv. This one replaces my 5 year old Vizio. Love that this has chromecast built in. This tv was too bright for my eyes that I had to mess around with the settings to get it to my liking. Easy to navigate through apps and the price was excellent for a tv this size.

My last two TVs were Vizio so I wanted to stick with them again. This time I was going bigger. I decided on the e series. I didnt want to spend a fortune on a tv. So far I’m very happy with the picture quality. Only reason for 4 stars is its a smart tv. I’m not a fan of them. I don’t have a need for that function with my other devices. Otherwise I’m very happy.

Resolution is nice. The smart features are also handy. Shuts off and needs to be rebooted often by unplugging which is not hard to do but certainly annoying. The sound quality is lacking but typical for a flat screen. Overall very happy with the size and quality of this tv. Excellent for movie watching and video game playing, but how could it not be at 65’’

Just bought this so I am unsure of the durability. An issue that was mentioned about Vizio tv's in previous years. I like the features and apps that come wit it. I love the picture quality! Very sharp and COLORFUL!! Watch a Marvel movie, such as the new Avengers, and the colors will really dazzle you!!! I did a lot of research and think this is a great tv in the price range.
