    Best 4K TV under $1000

This TV and the TCL 6 series are the 2 best 65in 4K TV's under $1000. Really comes down to what you want in a TV. This TV rated a little better at gaming, so I went with this one. The TCL gets brighter in HDR, so if you don't game, the TCL is the better TV. But the Vizio P-Series is the better pick for gaming.

My brother bought this and I must say it's a great set. Higher end Samsung and Sony TVs might have a slight edge with cable TV but not enough to justify the premium. True 1080p and 4K content look phenomenal. Vizio has truly come a long way. Def give this a consideration before you spend hundreds more elsewhere.

It is really good and graces our living room. It is good enough for movies and things like that and I recommend you use vivid mode on it. I would not recommend this for gaming though! Thanks!!

It has very good picture quality. The design is very good, sound is mediocre, preinstalled built-in apps cover the basics, but there is no app store and no way to add additional functionality except via firmware updates from Vizio.

I have had the tv for two weeks and the picture is amazing! It is great for playing video games or watching tv! I have a sound bar so I don’t know much about the speakers. If you want a nice big 4K tv I think this is just as good as the nearest Samsung which would cost way more. So all around a great tv

I decided to purchase this set after reading rtings.com, and them recommending it just second to a set that cost 1.8x as much. Only minor gripes- takes a long time to turn on and the remote feels cheap, but otherwise it has been great.

Had this TV for 10 days. All of a sudden it started turning itself off. I thought maybe I or my one year old had sat on or accidentally pushed a button on the remote. So I put the remote aside and about 20 minutes later it turned itself off again. It did this for the entirety of the grinch. So after my daughter's show had ended I thought I'd try a different hdmi port for our 4k blu ray player. The 2 side ports ended up not working at all. So I looked up a few troubleshooting guides and sadly none of the fixes worked. I'm gonna tell you I loved the picture. Vibrant and detailed, but with it faults I had to take it back.

Love the picture ,overall good quality picture. The only thing I wish Vizio had is 1. better sound quality, the sound on the tv is not great at all. 2. A smart remote like LG 4k TVs have. Bottom line good tv for the price.

Upgraded to this after my E-series was destroyed in the earthquake. It is definitely a better picture quality and you can feel the difference in a 65 versus 60 inch TV. Only downside is that Alexa is not working with it.

I have purchased nothing but Vizio TVs. I feel for the price, they have the best picture. The 4K movies look so good. Animated movies are even better. Very Happy with this purchase and I would recommend this TV to everyone.

I've had good success with Vizio previously and this one comes with a lot of great features. I've had to dial in the specs on many occasions to get the best picture but seems to be working well.

I opted for this P series model over the quantum dot version and am happy. Only quibbles are the software (I prefer Roku or Apple TV over the Chromecast). The default “Vivid” color setting is s tad nauseating but easily switched to “calibrated” which provides more pleasing and natural colors.

Upgraded from a 50" plasma, and glad I did. Picture is incredible. Looked at OLED while shopping, and I think this TV is better value for what you pay.

We haven’t had the chance to run much true 4K content through this TV yet. But even regular 1080 upscaled looks great! The interface is easy to use and overall, it is a very nice- looking TV. Looking forward to getting some actual 4K content so that we can experience all this TV has to offer!

It's a nice TV for what you pay for it!! It took a while to get the picture right with no ghosting and no Flair's !! But once you mess with it for awhile the picture comes around!! Nice black levels and nice and bright!!

Did quite a bit of research before purchasing this TV and I settled on it because of the great value. Display technology is changing too fast to justify spending $4k on a TV. This fits the bill. Great performance. Great price.

I’m picky with TV have this a try. Horrible interface so used a Apple TV. Movies looks great streaming but up scale of TV content were blurry through a stream. Might be different through a cable company box

Excellent TV. While not quite OLED quality, the picture is significantly better than comparably priced TVs from other major manufacturers. TV is very fast for streaming. I read many reviews before buying and I am not disappointed.

This television was out of stock, our sales clerk kept our information and called us directly when it was available. It was then shipped directly to our home. We are so glad that we waited for this specific model. Great picture! Exceeded all our expectations, the television and the staff.
