Best picture for a value TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV when my 9 Series Samsung TV went bad after 2 years (and of course I didn't buy the extended warranty). After Samsung was no help, I needed a replacement. I spend a 1/3 for the Vizio 65 inch P Series that I paid for the Samsung. Yes... the picture quality isn't as good as my Samsung 9 Series, but it's really close. The black levels are really good and direct viewing looks great. The colors are good after you adjust them. If you watch the TV at an sharp angle, the backlight is really bad. I haven't used any of the 'Smart' TV functions because I have a firestick and chromecast. Based on past reviews, that's the main draw back on this TV, but doesn't bother me because I don't use it. I would highly recommend this TV as a starter TV or for those that don't want to spend $3K on a premium TV. Good luck.

Great visual 4k tv with a few drawbacks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Vizio P65-F1 is a phenomenal tv at producing great visuals. The color accuracy, the black detail and brightness of the tv is second to none. Where the tv falls to 4 stars is with the smart features of the tv which are very lack luster. The speed of the smart features are very sluggish as if the processor is not capable of enough power. The speakers of the tv are very weak & I highly suggestion purchasing a sound bar. I do recommend this product if one follows the suggestions of purchasing a sound bar to accommodate the weak speakers as well as purchasing a media stick in replace of the smart features.

Great TV overall
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from a few minor issues, this is a pretty great tv for the price. Pros: Local Dimming, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, great color, smart apps integrated into TV Cons: Dolby Vision version currently not supported by Xbox One X (though Vizio is supposedly working on fixing this), slight banding of color in dark scenes, potentiometer for halo if the local dimming is set too high, UI occasionally freezes when switching inputs Overall, for the price, it’s a great television.

Great TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is my first experience with 4K HDR. It is GREAT. The 4K Is good but what impresses me the most is the HDR. I was worried that I might not see much improvement in the quality of the picture over my Samsung plasma. However, the HDR makes a world of difference. After a few tweeks to the picture settings out of the box I am extremely impressed with the picture quality and totally satisfied with my decision to purchase this TV. The only downside is that the off angle viewing of the picture loses some quality. This does not happen with my plasma but is inherent with lcd/led TVs. Totally happy with this purchase.

Spectacular 4k w/ both HDR10 and Dolby Vision
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Dolby Vision HDR10 Dolby Surround Sound Crisp LED Pictures 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz Wi-Fi Ethernet Connection Built-In Channel Tuner RCA, 1/8", and Optical audio outs. ARC HDMI Custom Settings to die for Chromecast Cons: No app downloads, what you see on the homescreen is all you get unless you chromecast from another device. A bright room will degrade the picture quality. This TV should've been loaded with the Android TV firmware, Vizio's firmware and app selection are weak. A Matricom box is a must-have addition. It's a great TV. 9 out of 10

Fantastic TV with some Smart Tech Compromises
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The image quality and general set up of this TV is fantastic. Easy to set up and the quality right form the bat with no adjustments is great. It also has gameplay settings for better refresh rates that can be toggled as well. The google home/Smart Home implementation is a little weak, with some glitches that needed to be ironed out at the start, but as a base TV, this is fantastic. Due to the glitches however, I'm not 100% sure if it's worth the price without accepting some compromises, but it is a device I would recommend for the image quality at least.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on Black Friday while it was on sale. The picture is great and the style of the unit is nice as well. HDR and 4K are superb (especially for the price). The only complaint I have is the remote isn't that great and the buttons aren't backlit. I have the 2014 version of this same TV in a 55 inch form and the remote is much better with a full QWERTY keyboard and backlit buttons.

Great 4k tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an all-around great 4k tv. It is a perfect pair for Xbox one x and will handle all your sports and movies with the ability to eliminate motion blur and judder with some advanced settings. It is not good for wide angle viewing as it has back lighting but that means you will get better contrast and black levels straight on compared to an edge lit. Vizio has truly been advancing their tech. If you don't want to risk OLED burn-in, then the Vizio P series is your best alternative. The only better Vizio is Quantum P.

wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a p65 from a few years ago and I'm blown away how much better this one looks. Its dramatic good job Vizio, 2x the pic quality and 1/2 the price. the HDR really pops the TV is almost disturbingly bright, motion clarity is excellent, pixel to pixel bleed is also excellent. I run everything through my PC and game on this tv as well. input lag is good to great and text is very clear. MK11 at true 4k and HDR is stunning. Only one down side is 1440P is restricted to 30Hz for some reason. the old tv did the same thing. i dont understand why as it can run 1080 at 120Hz and 4k at 60Hz. overall a stellar TV at a great price.

Bright tv!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This picture quality blows my mind. It’s so bright and clear, I’m not sure why I took so long to jump from plasma. Great price, I might add another panel soon.

Excellent TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV, the colors pop out very well, blacks look deep. The screen reflects a fair amount, so if your TV will be placed opposite a source of light it may be a problem. The 5 HDMI ports that this TV comes with is a life saver since most other TVs in this category come with 3 or 4 ports only. The Vizio Smartcast software is so-so, I wish it came with a better OS like Roku or AndroidTV. The built-in chromecast works as advertised though, making up for some of the deficiency.

great picture easy to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a great picture and also very good sound. It was easy to set up and has lots of options. I chose this TV over other brands because it has analog audio outputs, which I wanted to use to connect to my sound system. The only disappointing thing about the TV is that it has a very annoying humming sound when the analog outputs are used. The digital audio output does not make the noise, but the digital audio output volume cannot be controlled by the remote. Other than that, the TV is great.

Superb performance at a very reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been in the market for a 4K TV and after reading many reviews decided to purchase the Vizio P65-F1. Overall the picture quality is excellent but requires some changes to the default picture settings (the default Vivid mode is horrible and and badly over saturated). 4K HDR performance is spectacular with the extra brightness this TV is capable of. A widely discussed "con" is the built-in smart apps but I use a dedicated Nvidia Shield for media purposes. In the end the performance and the picture quality that this TV produces is worth more than the price and competes with sets costing double or more.

Really great picture for the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After about a month with this tv I would say I am blown away at the performance. I was also looking at oled but decided to go with the vizio p-series because of past reviews on the 2017 p-series. I was not disappointed. The picture looked pretty good out of the box but looks great after some tuning to the many different settings. This is also my first 4k tv so I wanted to get a bit of future proofing. Its got dolby vision, excellent color gamut and also a fairly low input lag for gamers out there. Im no means an expert on tvs but for price to performance and size its hard to beat the vizio p-65.

Great picture at a fantastic price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV with great picture quality. The colors are bright and the blacks are very black. Setup was very easy and the built in chrome cast works very well with both my android and apple devices. I didnt use the legs on the TV as it would be to large for my TV stand so I purchased a mount and had it hung on my wall. I would highly recommend this TV. I purchased in December and paid $1,199. in January 2019 they had it for $899 I called bestbuy and they gave me the price match guarantee. I love bestbuy for honoring this and is a key reason why I purchased from them.

Great Tv Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading tons of reviews and suggestions I decided to get this tv. Numerous outlets labeled it the best 4k tv for the money and they were not wrong. The detail is easily on par with tvs twice its price and the HDR on it is great. I cant speak to its smart features as I use and xbox for all that. I also cant judge its speakers as I have a surround system its hooked up too. However, if smart features and speakers are a key point in your tv choice then Im guessing picture quality isnt one of your concerns and you should look elsewhere.
