Beautiful Picture!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a ton of reviews of various 4K HDR TVs before settling on the Vizio P65. For the money, this is a fantastic TV. Beautiful picture with plenty of room for tuning settings. I'm not a big user of smart features, so I can't comment on those. But streaming or gaming through my Xbox One has proven to be a pleasant visual experience. If you're looking for 4K without dropping way over $1000, this is your TV.

High Quality - Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The feature set and performance level of this wonderful TV are remarkable, especially in consideration of a very fair price point. The picture is amazing. The number of HDMI ports is great too. The sound is good, though because it seems to project from behind the TV, those in the room behind it can hear well what's on - certainly nothing that detracts from the high quality and performance of this TV set.

Great picture quality for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Vizio P Series 2018 is a decent TV for a wide range of different usages. It has very good picture quality considering, especially when viewed in a dark room from the high native contrast ratio and great local dimming. Gamers will appreciate the low input lag and a great wide color gamut for HDR. Unfortunately, the viewing angle is best for directly in front as side angles are distorted at varying degrees.

Greatest value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start my review by saying that I did a lot of research on televisions over several months. I was unsure of this brand at first, but decided to try this. I would not recommend anything less than the P series if buying from this company, Vizio. This TV is a great size for my needs with a terrific price that allowed me to purchase five years of coverage I’m on it . The clarity and motion handling his astounding. Even though it has issues with some darker scenes, it is able to capture fast moving action very well. Compared to the Samsung Q series and Sony 900 series this tv hold its own. The colors are not as bright as they would be on the Samsung and not as crisp as they are on the Sony but for video games the motion handling comes in handy. For tv watching, this tv is third place, for movies it’s second, but for video games it is first. The major drawback on this tv is the color. It requires a fair amount of calibration to look correct. I have yet to see a better tv for such a low price. This saved me hundreds compared to the other two and the quality is great.

beautiful picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this Tv has an amazing picture. Real deep blacks and bright vibrant colors. This tv is on point with the higher end and much more expensive models. I say if oled is out of your price rang then this is the next best thing. Honestly I would go with this Vizio P series and save your money instead of going with oled

Beautiful TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality on this tv is amazing, very bright and vibrant. We had considered getting a TCL but the color isn't matched so we splurged a little more with this tv. We don't use the SmartCast due to having an XBOX and PS4, so I can't comment on how well that works. HDMI ports work great with the PS4 and XBOX

Good TV for price but flawed
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a history of owning flat screen TV's from LCD to Plasma. This was my first LED, and the picture quality has the ability to be amazing when set properly. Big screen, nice picture, good price. BUT... this TV also has it's issue. Within a year of purchase I ran into issue turning it on. Had to unplug it for 10mins then plug it back in. It does not always read the HDMI ports, sometimes I can turn my PS4/PS5 on and it will turn the TV on. Other times it will not even locate it connected, which then I have to reconnect the HDMI. Also the SmartTv functionality is clunky the majority of times. Not as smooth as other TVs on the market. Plus I wish I could install my own SmartTV apps and connect my laptop wirelessly to it like some other products. But all in all it is a really good TV at its price.

Good Reasonably Price Television
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very pleased with the picture quality and ease of setting up. I am very glad I bought a sound bar at the time I purchased the television. Without the sound bar, the sound quality and volume is not as loud and clear as I had hoped it would be. Overall, for the price, I would buy again.

Nice TV, but has some issues.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice picture for the money. Replaced an old Hitachi 1080p for our kitchen / dining room. Smart apps work, some such as Hulu seemed stripped down versions. Can't stream live tv with Hulu app included, but can with Firestick. Odd. Biggest complaint is using the CEC function. Attached to a Samsung sound bar and like other reviews, the sound with either freeze ( will stop being able to control volume ) or will be silent all together. Have to go into system menu and device discover sound bar again, and then it works again. Very annoying. The next issue I came across, was when I got home from work I turned on the set to watch over the air tv, and it said that the tuner wasn't setup yet. Keep in mind it was when I turned it off to go to work. Had to re-channel search. I'm hoping there aren't more issues to come. Have another Vizio 50" M series from a few years ago and haven't had any of these issues. Hopefully they address this in a system update. Elite plus so I have 45 days to return and right now I'm leaning towards returning it.

Great TV at an even better value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up this TV around Black Friday at an unbelievable price and couldn’t be happier. Bright HDR images, FALD, and crystal clear up scaling. At half the price of the x900f and NU8000, I much prefer this TV. If you aren’t going OLED and don’t want to spend $2000+ for the Quantum or Q8 or Q9, this is your TV.

Awesome TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV to be able to play some HDR10 Xbox and it has really done well in that regard. Even the standard sound wasn't bad. No where near as good as having a dedicated bose soundbar, but still really good. My only issue was with the black on some darker shows (looking at your Game of Thrones) but other than that it's been such an easy purchase. Not a single regret.

Excellent picture, some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great bargan of a tv. The picture us great. Has enough adjustments to dial in a picture to anyones liking. Remote is not that great, seems cheap. Nice performance till you turn on the backlight. Tv flickers and shows odd flashes and artifacts. Its so distracting. With backlight of black levels are awful. I'm coming from a plasma and sure miss deep inky black levels. I considered returning the tv cause of these issues. I have an odd dark spot on the tv as well. Not bad bad in light scenes its distracting. Overall a decent tv at a great cost, but the issues may be too distracting for some. I may look elsewhere.

Good TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Taking cost in to account, this TV is worth its going rate. Picture is clear, speakers are weak, and it's easy to hang.... with two people. Vizio is still an American Company and this is one reason why I bought from them, plus I've been loyal to them for the last 15 years with TV's.

Priced good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from a 50" to this 65", what a big difference. The color is awesome and you are able to view amazingly in-depth. Definitely a two man lift when setting up, though fairly light it is too awkward for one person and you don't want to drop it. It has a full side to side screen and you have to hold it on the very side edges to keep from marring the screen.

Best UHD 65” under $2k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv does it all. Dolby Vision support from Roku, Apple TV, Directv, and UHD movie players that offer Dolby Vision. Arc supported and works with minimal setup. Position of ports is convienient. Make sure and enable Full Color in the menu, as it is turned off by default. It’s not a OLED, but for the price it offers the latest available in picture and sound.

Great TV for the price !!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV looks great and has great picture quality. The Smart feature options are a little slow to respond but other than that it's a great TV. Vizio has stepped up its game!!! If you see the reviews from RTings.com it shows this model very high on the list for this size TV.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV, especially for the price. I have a 2014 Samsung (HU8550) that we have been very pleased with. We were looking for a TV to put in our recently finished basement. Really wanted an OLED, but couldn't justify the price. Went with this instead as a budget pick. I know it's not as good as the OLED, but we've been very happy with it so far.

Can't beat quality for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best TVs on the market for it's price. I picked this TV because it offers the same, if not better, than most top tier TVs from SAMSUNG and LG. OLED is still better but a lot higher price. I got this TV not only for the price but it had excellent motion handling. I like to watch a lot of action movies and play games so this TV was a great choice.

Couldn’t be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this 65” tv! I have had great service from my top of the line Vizio’s and for the money you just can’t beat it. If someone gave this tv a bad review they’re suspect for sure. Amazing colrs and awesome black levels. Don’t think twice, just buy it. Vizio hit this one out of the park

Nice picture for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Picture is nice especially for the price. Although sometimes the picture appears too “3D”. You could definitely get a better picture but you’d have to pay a lot more for it. Easy to use the SmartCast app to transfer shows & movies to your TV
