    GREAT TV

Everything is great about this TV, except the sound. Glad I have a sound bar for it. Images are so bright and full of color, when required. And, of course, the black's are just that. Black. I've had two other Vizio's over the years. One was hit by lightening, the other my grandson is using to play X-Box on. They're good TV's for the price.

Beautiful Display plagued by Horrible Software

I have always loved the Vizio brand. I have been a loyal customer to them for over 10 years. I bought this unit over the summer and was really excited to have what I thought would be the top tier Vizio experience but I was so wrong. The display is beautiful when it works. I have my unit set on Quick Start mode which is supposed to be compatible with the Google Assistant and Apple Homekit but oftentimes my unit will power itself off and will not respond to the assistants at all. It's also sometimes difficult for the display to even power on or turn the screen on. My unit also has issues with Chromecast. Majority of the time when attempting to cast content to it, the unit is not recognized forcing me to then "soft reset" the tv or power cycle my router when I want to use it. It has software hiccups when switching between Dolby Vision and HDR 10 content. There is also no way to turn off the Volume Control Display on this unit and it lags behind my soundbar when adjusting the volume which causes the volume meter to interrupt the viewing experience. With all of that said the display is gorgeous when viewing content but all of the software bugs and issues plague the overall experience of this tv and has turned me off to the brand. I have contacted Vizio customer service but majority of the time I'm asked to reset the tv or told that a software update is "on it's way" to address some of the issues of this unit. If you're expecting a premium experience, I would avoid this unit altogether it has been nothing but disappointment and headaches.

This new OLED from VIZIO is really impressive. It actually uses the same screens available in the LG CX/GX. Every color pops and the black levels are insane. Do not hesitate if you are buying a PlayStation 5 and/or XBOX Series X. I just wish they had a 77" or larger. Highly recommended.

great when it works. There is some bug where the TV will black out and since its OLED you don't know if its on, off or bugged, so you end up having to unplug it. Vizio said they would release a fix NEVER DID. If you are in the market for an OLED, spend the money on samsung who apparently has better software...

HDMI-CEC issues, 120hz broken, HDMI version issues

Returned this TV mainly because HDMI-CEC does not function well on it. HDMI input would change randomly to ARC channel. HDMI devices would turn each other off randomly. HDMI 4 is the only input real HDMI 2.1 input. 120Hz is broken. The picture and panel looked great, as an OLED should, but everything else was sub par. The software is broken, and if I wouldn't recommend this TV to anyone who wants to hook up more than one HDMI-CEC capable device. If you are just hooking up a new console and that's it, this tv could be good for that.

A great looking TV with terrible software. When this TV works, all is great, but more often than not I find it doesn't work. It doesn't turn on. It doesn't find the soundbar. The brightness is all out of whack. Audio is out of sync. Quick start is disabled thus shutting Alexa off. Frequently going through the menu and rebooting will solve the issues, occasionally you need to actually pull the plug. Hopefully some day Vizio will release a firmware update that actually solves these problems, but until then, stay away and spend the extra money on a LG or Sony so you don't regret the purchase like I now do.

Vizio Oled is an amazing TV and will continue to be. I couldn’t believe the picture quality for half the price of a Sony or Lg. Vizio is definitely coming along and fighting for the top spot. My only complaint is that Vizio didn't make a larger Oled than 65”

By picture for a basic user is superb. Gaming functions such as hdmi 2.1 has not been enabled so it cannot be compared to highest end tvs yet. Upscaling is lacking a bit. Overall definite green light for movie watching especially if you can get on sale. I took advantage of 500 off the 65 inch. Satisfied at that price.

I wanted to find a TV that offered excellent picture quality without the bigger price tags of the LG sets. After owning this set for a little over three weeks, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. 4K content (through YouTube or 4K disc) looks excellent; Content from 4k streaming services like Disney+ and Amazon is not quite as vibrant, but that is due to their compression algorithms rather than a flaw of the set. I have noticed some granulation and motion judder during sporting events, but that is likely due to the source material rather than the television itself. I cannot speak to the smart features, as we use an Nvidia Shield Pro for all streaming services (YTTV, Disney+, Prime Video, Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix, and Emby), nor the sound quality of the set, but at this price point, I imagine most users are utilizing either a sound bar or A/V receiver anyway.

Since I bought it I had trouble with it not turning on or the audio not working. I thought it was my 10 year old vizio soundbar. After a year I got a new, expensive vizio soundbar. That wasn't it. Turns out it's just a bad tv. The pucture is fine, when you can get it to turn on. As a (former) loyal vizio customer, I'll never buy another vizio tv it's that bad.

Watching sports such as baseball, football, boxing, ufc, wwe, and basketball looks amazing and as if the players are in the room with you. The new xbox runs like a champ using the 2.1 hdmi. Far cry from the days of playing pac man.

I was looking forward to this TV & i am just disappointed by cos this TV has great potentials but then Vizio decided to screw it up. Great picture quality and very colorful. then the issues start cropping in. first is the Motion on this TV is Super Bad, Gaming on this Tv is good but you can't adjust settings when you are using the "Pro Gaming Engine". i have had this TV for 3 days and i have witnessed "burn in" twice using my PC and i have so far only used this TV 5 hours a day and i change content a lot just to avoid the "Burn in" and i am surprised at this. will be returning this TV.

Great TV, very clunky and buggy smart TV operating system. I got an apple TV to avoid the OS and that works great. For the price, even with the issues on OS, this is the best deal on an OLED.
