Great Oled for the price. The 1st Oled entry from Vizio is good. The sound is okay, but the picture is amazing, and as expected for an oled. I'm satisfied with this purchase, specially for the sale price that BestBuy had.

This tv has the best quality ever. The hdr+ is awesome when watching Netflix. The gaming pro engine for the PS5 is unmatched in my opinion versus other tvs with 120hz.

Aww man where do i start with this tv.. i regretted buying this oled. Since day one I've had issue with it. I'll start with the pros. Actual picture quality is amazing, best quality I've ever seen. That's it, nomore pros for me. Cons overpower this tv. From the random power issues such as the tv turning off that you'll have to unplugg it to turn back on. Software issues go on and on as well. As far as gaming there's no support for the latest next gen gaming despite them advertising it. HDR colors looks washed out. As of writimg this review a year after purchase vizio has put out an update that has fixed some problems especially for gaming but i fear its not enough to make us buyers happy. Long story short if you want the tv for movies for a cheaper buy for an oled go for it. But you will have a lot of issues with it if you're trying to game on it. I coukd write more but nit enough tome or energy.

The built in TV features only work at full brightness. So if you have the picture adjusted for a dim room, prepare to be blinded if you adjust the volume, access the sidebar menu or worse go to the full screen home, full screen apps (like YouTube). Buying a separate fire tv slightly resolved because it removes the need to use full screen built in features - but volume and menu are still very bright. In addition in a HDMI input mode (like an external fire tv) you can't adjust the picture... you can only select between picture modes you'd set up previously. Also notable that the TV speakers are bad, the sound bar is a must. The Vizio bar works ok but if the tv goes to sleep you have to wake up the TV, the sound bar and the fire tv separately. Lastly the single remote works ok but it's glitches. When you power on the first, sound bar and TV all power up but the main remote control doesn't immediately control the external fire tv... it takes a few movements to 'wake up' the integrated functionality. I power up and click 'menu' then 'back' then the integration works... but if the TV falls asleep it can take similar clicks before the main remote controls the fire tv again... this is only a problem because using the built in smarttv features are too bright... requiring the need for an external firetv. The pictures is nice but... what a hassle. I might return this tv but the thought of repacking and moving this large TV back to the store is a factor... Would not recommend unless you like a very bright TV most of the time.

Hello ITGrant, thank you for taking time to leave us your review. Picture modes can be set individually to each different input. It might be possible that your SmartCast input and your Fire TV might different picture settings. There are also times where you might not be able to adjust certain picture settings because the source device is in control of those settings while you are using it. In those cases I would recommend to check that devices menus for options on how to change those settings if possible. When using sound bars with the TV I recommend to use the HDMI ARC connections if possible. This way CEC can be enabled. CEC will make it possible for the sound bar and TV to communicate with certain signals between the two devices. That way they can detect those signals between one another and power on and off accordingly. I have purchased open box. I did not received stand with the TV and Best buy has provided me some discount on stand. Impressive best buy customer service. I am more worried about burn-in as this is OLED but I am hopping that will not occur on my TV as I am watching all different shows and live channels. I only have concern with the TV is less brightness and screen reflection is pretty much same as my old TV. I was expecting OLED has better brightness and I will not have reflection issue in my home. Overall it is good TV if you don't have open window behind your seating area. This TV is best for closed environment. Overall color quality, black level is impressive on OLED.

TV has an amazing picture being an OLED. TV is full of issues that Vizio support mentions fixed coming out for, but they never deliver. 1) If I have a device that supports HDMI 2.1 hooked up and turn the TV off while on the HDMI 2.1 port. I have to physically unplug the power and plug it back in to get the tv to turn back on. Since the TV is on the wall -- I have to flip the actual breaker. If I switch to HDMI 1.4 and 1080p instead of 4k -- the problem goes away. 2) When using 1080p and 4k on HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 along with an eARC sound bar -- the system randomly thinks there is no HDMI video source and turns the TV off or it randomly blacks out and back to the video. Sometimes it will work for hours, sometimes it starts doing it after 5 minutes. Very annoying if your in a game and it happens. 3) VRR never worked right out the box

I returned mine after a couple of weeks because it had some bugs. My brother-in-law has the same TV and had bugs too, but not the same ones. Great picture, but sometimes it wouldn't respond to the remote, and I also had trouble with the ARC connection to my receiver. Maybe the ARC issue was user error, but the issue with ignoring the remote was enough for me to want to spend a little more for a better brand. Also, no native HBO app, so I had to use my streaming stick for that.

Great screen but wow is it a buggy mess. 9 times out 10 I have to unplug the hdmi cable from my ps5 and plug it back in for the picture to come back on. If I turn off the tv I either have to wait 30+ minutes before turning it back on or I have to hold the power button for 30 seconds and hard reboot the thing to get it to turn back on. The audio sometimes just doesn't go out to my sound bar (also vizio) until I hard reboot. Got stuck in an HDR enable/disable loop a couple times, had to hard reboot. Basically you have to hard reboot this thing daily if you want it to work. And based on the Vizio subreddit I am far from the only one experiencing these issues. Picture is really good though.....

    Too Many Glitches

I purchased this TV with the Best Intentions. Bottom line is that the Picture is solid across the board across all Apps and FIOS. That is where the positives end. This TV is riddled with too many glitches. I have to recycle the power on this TV at least 3-4 Times a week as the TV powers off on it's own and then does not turn on. If you are in the Smartcast Apps, any app that you are in would freeze and would not function. Screen would be frozen, oh well time to recycle the power again. I have a Sonos Beam Soundbar hooked up, oh well No sound coming out of the soundbar even when it's hooked up to the eARC port. The TV speakers work, the Soundbar does not. Time to recycle the power on the TV. I sent a note to Vizio support about these issues and failed to get a response. Would I recommend this TV, not a chance. Would I purchase another Vizio TV, not a chance. Vizio please address these issues, it should not be this difficult to watch Television. Thank you.

Hello JoeC, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback today. There could be a few things that cause lag or apps to not respond correctly, and I would like to learn more so we can assist with troubleshooting. When audio is able to be heard from the TV speakers, but not the sound bar in use, that typically indicates an adjustment that needs to be made with the sound bar's settings or connection. Very Disappointing firmware

I’m giving it a fair rating because it has some serious improving that needs to happen on the firmware side. Picture is great. Getting it to consistently show that picture is another story. It seems like it has a lot of handshaking errors with any HDMI 2.1 or E-ARC features. Oddly enough, I don’t have any of the issues I see people have with next gen consoles. My PS5 seems to work fine. But I also don’t have any 4K 120fps games right now either. So that may be why. The issues I run into are freezing. It constantly freezes when turning off the TV. It gets stuck on the black screen no matter what I do after turning it off. Power indicator will come on when I try to turn it on but just a black screen. Only way to get it to work is to flip the power on the surge protector. It sometimes won’t send signal to my sound bar. Some times after turning it “off” it’ll continue to play the audio from whatever it was that I was watching. It’s always showing me a notification about discovering a sound bar and setting up the remote for it. Even though the sound bar has been hooked up from day 1 of getting the tv. It’s a great looking tv but needs some serious attention from Vizio on the firmware. If they can get their act together, this would be a killer tv for the price. But until then, I would recommend passing on this.
