Excellent Image Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV for 4K movies. Blacks are inky dark with colors saturated, vibrant, and luxurious if that makes sense. The thinness of the TV on the top half is just crazy but the heavy metal base keeps everything stable and in its place. Cable management is nice with the covers over the power cable on one side and the rest of the connections on the other side. That funnels all the cables out the backside of the stand. Definitely recommend this TV to anyone who cares about image quality and has the 4K content to show it off

Lots of bang for the buck!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is quite good however some dark scenes can be hard to see in movies etc. The internal smart apps are quite excellent I may say. Lots of free viewing apps and live ones as well. Almost like having a streaming box connected if you don't have one already. I also like the instant app buttons on remote that gives you instant access to popular apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Disney etc. The Alexa portion seems a little quarky when used it so I don't anymore. Overall I'm very satisfied with this TV considering the price was lower then other more popular brands.

Upgrade your life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Look, I got this on sale for $500 off. Is it worth it? Heck ya! I got some replacement dollars from LG for my 2016 OLEDC6P that started showing some burn-in (unnoticeable unless you went Sherlock on it). They let me keep my burned-in TV but still sent a nice check to use on something else because they couldn't replace my panel. Lucky me. Moved the old 55inch panel to the bedroom and got myself this 65incher for the living room. Wowza, it's nice-a! Okay, is the software wonky? Yes. Do settings revert back to default? Yeah. Are the HDMI 2.1 ports 40gbps and not 48 as advertised? Yes, but our panels are 10-bit so who cares? If you do care, I suggest you return it. That's the only solution. Do the HDMI 2.1 ports exhibit handshaking issues with AVRs? Of course, they do! It's 2020 and we're in a pandemic. Handshaking is so 2019, bro! All jokes aside, the TV has some growing pains that I hope can be remedied by some FW updates. I bought an HDMI 2.0b splitter/switch that can extract audio and output via HDMI to my AVR to circumvent the handshaking issues. Now I split my Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 to the TV and AVR. Perfect. The main selling point of this TV? The picture quality. Feed it a 4K Dolby Vision/HDR10/HDR10+ feed and it's a thing of beauty. You may experience some raised blacks with a new FW, but that should be fixed soon (I hope). Again, do yourself a favor and forget the other stuff. No TV is perfect, but an OLED picture is pretty dang close. Get it and upgrade your entire life. Now!

Needs some updates but great tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv for gaming and it's great the hdr is beautiful the all and vrr work great, but I will say that at first it didn't let me adjust sharpness and other setting when I had vrr on but after I switched it off I was able to access everything like tone mapping ,sharpness, contrast, color all the basic stuff on my one x and PC and I was able to switch it back on with no issues. That being said they do need to update the tv to fix that it was annoying at first but other then that the tv is amazing for gaming and hdr movies.

Wow!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.for 1499, you can't beat this TV. I was looking at buying the LG CX 65 inch, but that was only on sale for 2150. This Vizio is perfectly clear, crisp, bright, thin, and beautiful. I'm sure the LG may be a little bit better, but it ain't 600$ better.I went on the reddit forums to find the perfect way to calibrate this tv and it made it that much better. Even my wife, who could care less about this stuff, was wowed when one of her shows came on. Don't hesitate, buy this TV, especially when the price is this low!

Great Budget OLED
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great OLED picture, for the price. May be missing some of the high-end features you get with the LG or Sony versions but so far, I have everything I need. I have not been able to test VRR yet due to not having a compatible source been will update when available. The only "oddity" I have seen was the audio interfaces between this and my Sonos and Apple TV 4K. It is very slow to recognize the audio source and sometimes it lowers and increases volume levels on its own. I had also expected some firmware updates per Vizio but I have not seen any since my initial setup, which has been a few months.

Great TV and Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had the Vizio for a week. Unpacking was straightforward. Assembled the television with the help of a friend. Be careful. The unit is heavy and has a very thin screen. Used all 4 HDMI inputs, including ARC for the Vizio sound bar. Picture is truly amazing. Sound from the sound bar is great, and the Vizio sound bar integrates seamlessly with the TV. Only picture setting I changed was from "bright" to "calibrated." So far, could not be more pleased with this television.

Vizio 65 OLED
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is Vizios first oled tv. While the picture is very good with some picture adjustments, there are some issues with it. The tv runs on the smart cast platform. While there are some nice apps built in, there are issues at time with apps freezing, or problems changing HDMI inputs. Sometimes I would be watching something and the tv would go black then shut off. I called Vizio support, not much help there, hopefully they issue updates to fix the issues. I've learned how to deal with these issues, best thing I found is to let the tv warm up a minute before do anything with the apps.

Incredible Picture and Zero Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The purchase price was phenomenal with 10% discount. The pickup was easy and quick. The directions for unboxing and setup were clear and concise. The presets for day and night were spot on and needed only a small of tweaking to make a perfect picture. The built in apps were a breeze to setup and steam different 4K streams is flawless. Screen uniformity is great. Excellent deep black and even the Motion processing for sports is top notch. Very happy I purchased it asap after availability.

Then the gaming mode it’s truly amazing, the blacks are just that. I’m extremely happy that I made the decision to buy this television, at this price point ( I got it on Black Friday sale ) it’s the Best Buy get it. Lol I can write for hours just go in to the store see it for yourself.

Great picture...if you can get it to work.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased many smart TVs over the years and usually stick with one brand. I took a chance on this one as I wanted an OLED for my new house and the price was great. Reviews seemed okay and cited future updates would probably fix any that were happening. Here I am over 6 months later with the buggiest TV I have ever owned. ISSUES I have a PS5 and a Roku Ultra hooked up directly to the TV and HDMI ARC running out to my Onkyo receiver. 70% of the time when I switch between the two devices, either the image will glitch and I have to go through a series of turning everything on and off in hopes that it will fix itself or the audio will drop to the receiver and I have to do the same steps to try and fix it. About once a month I have to completely unplug the TV as it freezes. I am connected to the internet via Ethernet directly to the router and the time on the TV is ALWAYS wrong, regardless of the TV's clock settings. WHAT'S GOOD Picture Quality is phenomenal! MINOR QUIBBLES I wish you could hide apps on the SmartCast screen. Having to scroll through them all is annoying.

BANG FOR THE BUCK, TOP DOG!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEST tv out bang for the buck. Yes for the 65 inch on sale was $1499. but putting it up against Sony, and Samsung in the $2000 hands down this one will blow you away. Sharp, detailed, and deep blacks. Picture looks so good like your looking though a window at the actors on the other side. Cant believe the detail that comes though.

Very happy overall
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Software is a bit buggy but the important things for me it excels at. Great picture and much much more affordable than the other OLEDs that are available. Occasionally have to do a soft reboot which can be annoying but that has been much LESS of a problem since I’ve settled down playing with every possible menu option. (As a new toy I kept trying a bunch of things which Vizio software did not like me doing).

It feels like a steal!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our first OLED and we got 2 units at $1,499 each during promotion while prices for everything else keep going up, it feels like a steal, totally. Design is sexy and especially looking at it from the side when you hang it up. The only thing is that the picture quality is so good now that we have to up our game to get better equipments to plug in and feed the OLED with higher quality signals. Good problem to have.

Amazing TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When shopping out a new TV, I was originally drawn to the Sony Bravia A9 Master. I've been told it's the "best" TV on the market from many Best Buy employees and plenty of YouTube videos. That may be true, but the Sony lacks the HDMI 2.1 ports that the Vizio has for future-proof gaming. It also costs $1,000+ more than the Vizio. I just can't see spending that much more when this TV has an amazing picture and future proof ports.

Good but the LG OLEDs are better
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my guest room and it serves the purpose. Good TV, decent software, decent smart tv chops with connectivity to almost every app. While it beats a non OLED 4k TV hands down, it is not as good as the LG OLED's in terms of picture, brightness. However it is great value for money. For the price of 55 inch leg oled,I got a 65 inch Vizio. Although the UI is feature rich, I found the LG UI better but maybe thats me. Regardsless, it is excellent value for money and beats any non OELD TV easily.

Review of Vizio 65” OLED 4K Smartcast TV.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Vizio OLED tv has a somewhat inferior picture compared to LG OLED and Samsung Qled. However, it is much better than any 4K lcd set and it’s about a thousand dollars cheaper than LG OLED and several hundred dollars cheaper than Qled. I did get some spectacular color on some of my movies on my cable TV. Another problem I have with it is changing the volume on the set. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds to change the volume when every other set I’ve ever owned is 1-2 seconds. The last problem I had with it was I couldn’t install the internet connection as it wouldn’t accept my password. After a call to Vizio tech, I found out the set needed a software update which the tech promptly downloaded and it then worked. As a satisfaction test, would I do this deal again? The answer is yes. And by the way, kudos to Best Buy’s Geek squad and customer service department. The Geek squad guy stayed with me longer than I would have trying to resolve the password problem, the guys were quick and efficient in installing the set. There also was a price drop after I bought the set and Best Buy’s customer service instantly refunded the difference with no hassle. Best Buy improved their image with me, had better prices than I thought, and I look forward to shopping there again. Also Best Buy’s managers were a pleasure to work with and pointed out various ways to get discounts on my purchases there.
