Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the superb picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth refresh rate as significant strengths of the 65" Class P-Series Quantum Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV. However, some users have reported issues with the HDMI 2.1 ports and SmartCast software needing improvement. Concerns have also been raised regarding the variable refresh rate (VRR) functionality and blooming. The price-to-performance ratio is frequently praised.

If oled is out of budget this is a great choice.

Fantastic TV for the price. You need to adjust some of the settings to get the best picture out of it for 4k uhd Blu rays. The brightness is fantastic, however in dark rooms you'll need to turn it down or you will get light bleed, but this also means it's a fantastic choice for bright rooms. Function's perfectly with next gen consoles.

I came from a Sony A1E Oled, it developed burn in. I wanted something that would try at at least compare to the oled, yes I know it wouldn’t be fair to compare, but still. I got the the P series yesterday, 9/18 because it was reduced to under $1k for the 65”. I wanted to see the new Hisense, but no one has it. No one has the new tcl either. So, this seemed like the best tv for under $1k to get. Colors are amazing, the marketing was correct on that. It’s bright and vibrant. Some pictures are very much on par with the oled. It handles motion very well and has no juddering. The issue comes with whites on a black background. It has incredibly bad blooming. Honestly it’s very distracting. Also, The verticals bands are very noticeable. I’m pretty disappointed in this TV. The blooming, I can live with, but the banding, that’s unacceptable. Just beware, if you are a tv buff, you will notice them and then not be able to see anything else and it will become distracting. Like I said good tv for colors and motion, but terrible with banding and blooming.

Pros - Good not great picture quality at a fair price. - It's a nice design with slim bezels - Great fit for a gamer- The TV has all the latest tech for last gen video games consoles. Cons - Sound lacking - VISIO Soundbar recommend - The smartcast is not the most smooth OS in the world. It will require some getting use too...

I have always been Roku fan and have 65" TCL series 8, so, the vizio has taken some getting used to. The interface is not as user friendly as the Roku or Roku TV but the picture makes up for it! I can actually tell a difference with Amazon with HDR10+. The picture is amazing maybe not as good as the series 8 but very close.

One of, if not the best tv's I have ever seen in person. Definitely the beat tv i have ever owned. Color's are beyond amazing and vibrant. It's super bright and life like picture. The HDR and HDR10+ is super indepth and detailed. If your a gamer, this tv takes gaming to a whole new level. Vizio did it again, they made a tv that is side by side with the best on the market and a quarter of the price. I strongly recommend getting this tv if you want quality viewing and you are a perfectionist when it comes to entertainment!

This tv is amazing. The ease of use mixed with the picture quality make it well worth the price. My family and I find ourselves re-watching movies because of the amazing picture quality. The sound is even really good...which is rare on such a skinny tv. My only two small complaints...lack of apps and 4k @120 hz for gaming. I purposely chose this tv to play ps5 but hopefully the firmware update drops on this model like the more expensive ones soon. Even with these small complaints...I would still buy and recommend this tv to anyone.

Great picture and HDR so far especiallyfor the $899 I paid. Definitely an upgrade for me. Had a hiccup at first because some of the pictures settings were grayed out and I couldn't adjust them but I figured out that if I turn off the device it let me adjust them. I turned my xbox off went into the menu on the TV adjusted the color and sharpness. When I turned the Xbox on it remembered the settings weird but it worked for me.

I looked a long time for a great tv. This is the one I bought. The picture iis amazing and the sound is good. We added a Vizio M series 2.1 sound bar and all I can say is,"Wow!". The picture is outstanding ,and this tv was so easy to hookup and connect to wifi. There are some great videos that tell step by step that helped me with the soundbar. The Bestbuy delivery was great as usual. I'm really enjoying the tv, and my husband loves to watch his fishing videos too. Great purchase!

Great TV with wonderful color And contrast. Still waiting for the Freesync update to test this TV @ its full potential. I see some minor ghosting and TV currently does not support 1440p @ 120fps which is quiet wierd as this TV is stacked up with HDMI 2.1 and 2 outta those ports support 4k 120hz. HDMI 2.0 is good enough for 1440p 120hz bandwidth so what's up with that Vizio???, if that was present, would have gotten 5 starts outta this customer.

Great TV with vivid colors and easy mounting! Menus are easy to follow and access speeds to online programs are pretty good for antenna and WIFI connections - have not connected to computer yet but should be relatively simple. Online guides are decent and help with most problems

This TV has fantastic picture quality and HDR as well as HDMI 2.1 support so it’s great for gaming (although Microsoft is still working on getting 4K/120 support to work correctly with many TVs, including this one). The problem is the SmartCast interface. It’s slow, it crashes relatively frequently, it has a bunch of ads for weird streaming services I’ve never heard of, and it has no App Store so if Vizio doesn’t have an app that you like to stream from installed on the TV straight out of the box or with an update, you’re kinda out of luck. Fortunately it has built in Chromecast functionality and supports Apple TV casting as well so if the TV doesn’t have a service you like to use, you can always cast it off of your phone or laptop or whatever. Overall, if you’re looking for a TV with fantastic picture quality and you don’t care about the UI of the Smart TV function, then this would be a decent choice for you.

First off the picture is great on this TV. Like worlds beyond my previous one. Additionally, one feature I wasn't expecting this TV to have was the Smartcast being able to play native 4k content, which is fantastic! However, some of the caveats are that there is significant halo-ing around text when it is on the screen, which I haven't found the setting to fix. Additionally, there was an issue with my older Xbox One when initially connecting it where the screen would static and turn purple and green, which I was able to fix by turning off Auto Variable Refresh Rate on the Xbox one. Hopefully it will work with no extra effort with an Xbox Series X. Lastly, it has an aspect ratio issue with casting certain apps and does not allow us to change it. So, while there may be some initial troubleshooting issues which could be fixed with future Vizio updates, I'm glad I purchased this TV and look forward to watching much more content on it.

This TV has great bang for you buck! The picture is beautiful. Not surprisingly, the colors are vivid and rich, but the blacks really surprised me. It's certainly not on par with an OLED TV, but they are really close... especially with the huge difference in price. One thing to mention is that this thing is incredibly bright. I had to turn down the back-light substantially.

Vizio has come a long way in the last 5 years or so. This tv honestly almost looks better to MY eye than my LG CX in most situations. The LG is a little more friendly for pc gaming, but the vizios colors just pop so much more.

The reason I didn’t give a 5 star review...the first one we purchased we had to return I believe after the first day because there was no volume...load up, take it back, go into store AGAIN... Sending one same exact problem after a couple days called the store again to get an attitude from the manager because it was now ONE day after your policy! BUT IT WAS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. At this point instead of loading it up again, back to the store again, we decided to call Vizio directly they told us to push a reset button which we did and the TV now works great and offers an awesome picture. Not sure of the reason of not being recalled as it surely would have been nice not to try to get through your WORTHLESS phone system again or have to return items to the store. Your manager has deterred me from returning regularly...
