Right out of the box this set also has issues with the screen, flickering, black dots appear and disappear, the backlight must be turned down almost all the way to prevent "flash lighting" (the screen has manufacture flaws causing the backlight to actually leak light over the screen on the sides and corners. I get it's not a top quality brand but a product should work upon opening...also both sets have software issues and will randomly shut off (crash), or freeze, not recognize the remotes, has issues with HDMI input recognition at times, the power light will flash several times then reset tv. won't buy Vizio again and would suggest saving for a better brand.
