Nice TV. Cheaper for a reason

Use the HDMI port and still have to reboot TV if the sound quits. Smartcast takes some getting used to.

Problems after approx. 2 weeks!!

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After approx. 2 weeks, i had problems with the tv freezing and the remote & tv buttons did nothing. Also, the tv would freeze randomly…whether on Netflix, antenna TV, Prime, or whatever else. Just recently, the tv froze on an antenna channel and I had to ohysically unplug the tv (YES! Brand bew batteries in the remote). When I finally got the tv turned back on, it reset back to the original settings! My father-in-law’s 55” version does the same things.

Just don't do it

I returned the first one for the same issue. I thought it was an anomaly, but clearly its a defect with this model. I cannot recommend this television. $600 down the drain for an ineffective big box on my wall.

It’s Okay!!

So I have to unplug the tv just to get them back in sync.

If the lip sync is off while watching content on your favorite apps, that indicates that we would want to troubleshoot network connections. If the lip sync issues only happen on cable or satellite boxes, we will then want to troubleshoot settings on each individual device. For that troubleshooting we will typically start with the TV, moving to any VIZIO audio devices if used, and then finally to the cable or satellite box. No bluetooth

This TV is not designed to output audio over Bluetooth. You could purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and connect it to this TV to listen over Bluetooth. The Best Buy in Bakersfield doesnt always have the best TVs out on the floor. When i purchased this tv, I bought it online. Didnt get to do much research, I was very disappointed with the sound of the tv. Good thing I have a sound bar. I went back to best buy 2 weeks later and they had all sorts of TVs on the floor and on display.

Bad tv

The message do not have net keeps coming up but when you look in settings it shows connected . I had to reset the tv 7 time in the 2 weeks I had . 3 for net 3 due to no sound and 1 due to incomplete set up . If you like seeing no blurs then skip this tv because it can not keep up with fast movement . This is only the quality I would have expect if the tv was a $200 but it was $599 . My 1080p samsung does better and looks better . 2 weeks of use and all the bad thing = garbage
