A worthy upgrade from my 4K Dolby Vision TV.

I upgraded my tv from a 55" TCL 4k dolby vision roku tv. I wanted something larger, with true 120 hz refresh rate, and that would be the same width as my fireplace. 1st impressions: When I 1st turned on the tv I was blown away from the 1200 nits brightness (twice as bright as my TCL tv) and amazing contrast. I didn't even need to calibrate it out of the box. Pros: 4 HDMI ports, 2 120 hz port, auto name HDMI components, auto power on when a signal is sent to the tv, vrr for lag free games. Amazing picture quality. 75" bigger is better. Neg: The only true negative is the tv doesn't come with Roku installed (I haven't bothered to play around with Vizio smart app.) The only other negative is my own fault. I measure the tv to be about two to three inches above my fireplace shelf. I didn't check to see where the mounting screws where located and the tv is a foot higher since the screws aren't in the middle of the tv. N/A: I don't have much experience with how the tv speakers sound since I have a vizio 5.1 surround sound bar and speakers. Don't know if the built in smart app is good or not since I bought a roku 4k streaming stick.

The TV is great. Picture is crisp and clear! The colors are vibrant! Great for playing video games or just watching your favorite tv show through one of the many available streaming apps downloaded in the TV. Definitely would recommend.

Great QLED for the price, compares well to mid level Samsung and LG the same size! Great picture nad it's 120 hertz so gaming is better to than 60 hertz competitors

So using this tv for more than 4 weeks now I can say the tv is very good great picture quality amazing color reproduction and good viewing angles since it is an ips panel. Now the cons are of course since it is an ips panel blacks aren’t the greatest black bars show some blooming but it’s not a big deal for me but for some it is gaming with the hdmi 2.1 120hz at 4k is great so your future proof with next generation consoles it currently only supports variable refresh rate at 60hz 4k hopefully they come out with an update for full 120hz bottom line great tv it won’t disappoint on gaming,tv shows and even movies if blooming isn’t a big deal note only the 75 inch has ips panel the 65 and 55 have va.

Other than an incredible picture quality this is a great TV. I did my research and this is the only Quantum LED TV on the same price rage that has 2 HDMI inputs with 120hz separarte from the eARC HDMI input, this gives you option to connect the Xbox Series X and PS5 to run at 120hz that was meant, separate from you eARC 7.2 surround sound, no other brand gives you this option on this price range, trust me if your a geek like me this is the way to go.

The TV comes well packaged in a humongous box, which we barely were able to bring into the apartment, without taking it out of the box. The TV is easy to put together but certainly needs at least two persons to handle since it’s short of 70 lbs. The TV is well built, made mostly out of plastic except for the feet. Once in position, I did notice a bit of wabbling but it’s not unstable enough to worry. The Screen is super reflective –almost mirror-like and certainly a smudge/fingerprint magnet, so be ready to have a proper screen cleaner kit around. The bezels on this TV are some of the thinnest I’ve seen so far. There’s a slightly thicker chin with the power LED on the left bottom and the VIZIO logo on the right, which I did not find distracting. The stands are height adjustable, which allowed me to place my hefty soundbar underneath without obstructing the picture from any angle. Overall, it is a rather pleasant-looking TV and looks gorgeously enormous in my entertainment setup. It is relatively easy to physically connect several devices since this TV features two 2.1 HDMI, one regular HDMI, one e-ARC HDMI, and even a USB-A port. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack and an optical digital output for sound hook-ups. I have an ATMOS soundbar, Xbox One X, PS5, Switch, and a high-end PC all hooked up. I do wish that there would've been some cable routing solution in the back–especially since all connections are on the right side. The remote is simple but quite responsive. It is easy to get used to the layout. I am a fan of dedicated app buttons, but I wish they could be reassigned to ones I personally use instead. The voice command button is convenient and works well in most cases. The TV features an easy-to-navigate menu, albeit a bit too crowded for my taste. I personally would've liked to be able to simplify it by hiding or deleting icons, as there are quite a few that I will never watch. I can certainly do without the marquee-style recommended shows. Casting to the TV is easy from any phone or tablet –Android or iOS. The system menu is also robust, which is great for getting into deeper customization. Out of the box, my first impression was that the picture looks stunning. The TV immediately recognized Dolby Vision and HDR-10 content and the colors are vibrant, the whites are popping and the blacks are deep. I did notice a bit of blooming, where white gets blurry on dark backgrounds (especially noticeable in white text), and colors such as red and blue bled a bit unto each other. The brightness is quite impressive –up to 1200 nits on white, especially in HDR-10, which helps tremendously when the screen is so reflective in the daytime. There are video presets that are distinct that should help in any setting or preference. I suspect many will be satisfied with the default settings and options. Unfortunately, I am an audio/video enthusiast and I expect much more from such a premium set. Finetuning the monitor was not as easy as simply turning the devices on. I must’ve spent several hours ensuring that all devices worked as intended, and the picture was calibrated as best as possible. I had to research and look up forums to help me achieve the best possible results. The settings menu is easy to use, however, one must have better-than-average experience in audio/video or seek assistance as I ended up troubleshooting quite a bit. For starters, I had difficulties in having the PS5 and PC recognized as 120Hz devices. There was a lot of resetting and rebooting the TV and devices. Occasionally, one device would flicker or lose audio and the TV had to be unplugged and restarted to get back to normal. Speaking of sound, the TV does have decent rear-firing 15-watt speakers that produce good sound. The bass is noticeable but as with any TV, still pretty weak. Of course, in order to get the full cinematic experience, one must get a good sound system and set of speakers, or a soundbar –preferably with Dolby ATMOS support. I also ran into a few issues with my e-ARC compatible ATMOS soundbar, where the syncing, handshaking and sound quality simply would not work properly –but I suppose this varies from system to system. I ended up disabling e-ARC and opted for ARC in order to get ATMOS and DTS-X recognized. I Hope VIZIO is listening as I believe this can only get better with updates. When it came to gaming, I was pleasantly surprised. All consoles worked and looked lovely, including the good ol’ Switch at 1080p. Colors popped in SDR and looked even livelier in Dolby Vision/HDR. I was able to play some PS5 games at 120Hz (although not in native 4K). There wasn’t any lag, sync issues, jagged edges, or excessive blurring. However, I did notice that the backlight response time had a hard time catching up sometimes, especially when quickly cruising through menus and in dark areas in games while playing at night. It’s not terrible but can be distracting at times. The best experience I had was with my PC. I was able to smoothly play games like Doom and COD at full 4K 120 fps, pausing only to pick up my jaw from the striking visuals. Although there were some frustrating nitpicks, tweaking setbacks, and in the end, not all is quite where I’d like it to be, I am still immensely satisfied with the result. My living room truly has become a bonified entertainment hub where we can have the full cinematic experience at home. Thumbs up!

I'm coming from a 2019 vizio p series quantum 65 inch tv, That has pretty much worked flawlessly since bought it new. Wanting something bigger with hdmi 2.1 and already familiar with vizio tvs I decided to buy this one. I had it delivered because I knew it wouldn't fit in our suv. Delivery was great as expected no complaints at all. Unboxing the TV I inspected every inch front and back for damage and didn't notice a thing. Set up was easy on our TV stand and after turning the TV on it was fast and easy going through the initial settings. I've only had the TV for a little 24 hours but I tested it extensively and have came across 3 problems. 1. The biggest issue I'm having is with the tvs built in chromecast. When casting YouTube and hulu from my up to date android phone sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The videos will play for the first 5 seconds and then freeze while a loading pops up in the middle of the screen. Sometimes this happens and the audio from video keeps working. I've tested this with multiple phones and still randomly run into this problem, but when I cast to my older vizio tv not a single problem which leads me to believe it's the TV. I did make sure multiple times that the TV was up to date on its software. I also restarted TV and phones multiple times and still no fix. The built in chromecast needs fixed. 2. I've tested the TV multiple ways with different screen test pattern videos. It was passing flawlessly for screen and color quality until I decided to try an all black screen video test. With full active array on I didn't notice a thing, pure black screen almost like the screen was off, but when I turned off the full active array setting I noticed tremendous light bleed in the top left corner and right. So much that it actually worries me if there's wasn't damage done to it when it was on the box before I got it. Please see attached pictures of screen bleed with active array off and on. I'm concerned on the longevity of this TV because of the light bleed. 3. I noticed one dead pixel on the entire screen not a deal breaker but it's worth mentioning. That's not number 3 though. 3 times now when starting my ps5 that's hooked up to one of the hdmi 2.1 ports I've gotten a all green screen with audio and 2 black screens with audio. I have to turn off the TV and back on to get it to work. But when working it works great. So I'm conflicted. When the TV is working it's amazing looking. 2 put of the 3 issues I'm having can been fixed with firmware updates I'm sure but who knows if and when that will happen. Most TV brands move on to the next year's model tv pretty quickly and the current gen tvs are left in the dust. The screen bleed has me worried and I'm not sure if I'm going to return this TV and get a new one or my money back and go with a Sony or LG oled. 3 stars because when working it's breathtaking, 1 star taken away until updates fix problem 2\3 and 1 star taken away because of the screen light bleeding.

This is the second Vizio I have purchased and returned. Both times was a screen issue and both times returned in under a year. However, I won’t give this a one star because while the screen did work it had a great picture.
