To be honest, the most intimidating thing about this Vizio is getting it out of the box and set in place. Having a razor thin bezel is a beautiful thing to look at; but very difficult to move around without having fingers on the glass. This beast weighs in at 70 lbs. and the wife & I were unsure of our ability to move it to our built-in cabinetry. Solution - call a neighbor! If you're planning to wall mount this puppy, that's a 3 person job, so plan ahead.
We did get it safely into place, and began setup. That requires pairing the remote, connecting to your network, and the standard new tv q&a session. The unit then proceeded to download an update, which completed successfully.
We then went through a bit of fine tuning; in addition to the usual choices for picture type, contrast, brightness, etc.; however if you drill down there's a myriad of choice available for the enthusiast. The ambient light sensor worked very well, we were testing it by opening/closing shades, lights on/off, etc.
The picture is exceptional. I have 2 adjacent rooms, basically both family/entertainment rooms, both with tv's. If I stand at the end of one room, I can have eyes on both tv's simultaneously. The other room has a new 60" 4K (I won't mention the brand), and looking at them side by side, the difference is immediately recognizable. Yes, the Vizion has richer colors, but the most notable difference is in the whites, and the blacks are beyond comparison. So glad to finally have a screen that can distinguish between gray and black.
We had noticed there was a significant lip sync problem; going into the audio adjustments, I noticed that the surround sound box was ticked, turned the feature off and all was good. I do have an issue with how the lip sync settings are presented. Think of a left/right balance bar for your stereo. When you adjust the lip sync setting, the bar expands to both the left and the right simultaneously. So am I delaying the audio, or delaying the video? A check of the manual offers no help in this matter. I haven't gotten a sound bar for this unit yet, pretty certain that I'll be choosing a Vizio to insure compatibility, as I've had no end of problems syncing up tv's and soundbars.
Which brings me to another issue - I'm not blaming Vizio for this, it's just the way things are nowadays. I get a 70 lb tv in a gigantic box, which comes strapped to a wooden pallet, and there's no manual inside. Yes, I know there's one built in to the tv, but some of us old school folks like the manual to thumb thru. Then again, will the on screen manual work when the tv doesn't turn on? No! I did the next best thing, downloaded the manual from the Vizio site, and will print out the relevant sections.
One more pet peeve that's common to the industry - the new "simplified" remote. Sorry, I can't get the hang of these things. I'll do what I did for my last tv - picked up a universal remote with all the buttons,
I did download the app, which does have a bit more functionality than the remote - works well.
So no points off for the last two items, it's just the way things are today. But ultimately, it's about the experience of enjoying the product.
p.s. Over the past couple of days, using my side by side view (as pictured below), the definition of blacks and greys on the Vizio is light years ahead of anything else I've seen. Now I can finally enjoy those dimly lit series the networks are so infatuated with - maybe time to review the last season of Game of Thrones!

"Wow, I am absolutely blown away by the exceptional picture quality of my VIZIO - 75" Class P-Series 4K QLED HDR Smart TV! The colors are so vivid and lifelike, and the details are crystal clear. The QLED technology really makes a difference, and the HDR feature takes it to the next level. I've never seen a TV produce such rich and accurate colors. The smart TV features are also super convenient and easy to use. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for an exceptional viewing experience. 5 stars, hands down!"

Picture is fantastic! If you find this TV buy especially at the open box price. Use the calibrated picture setting and trust me you will be blown away by the picture. I bought it as an open box with the TTS and I'm loving it. The sound sucks however that what HT systems are for or you can add a soundbar. Go buy it!

I bought this TV nearly a year ago. There were a couple of minor software issues that were resolved last spring with firmware updates. Addie from those, this has been an excellent choice and value. We use it in our family room for movie viewing, as well as Xbox Series X and PS5. All HDMI 2.1 functions work as expected. VRR makes a huge difference and 120HZ in titles such as Forza Horizon 5 work flawlessly.

A very impressive TV. Contrast is exceptional, colors are great. It's not as sharp as an OLED but it's also nearly $1,000 less (still has great details and sharpenness). The motion doesn't seem as smooth to me but I think it's the WIFI connection in the room, there wasn't any jutter, fast moving objects just didn't look as crisp as my A80J Sony OLED.
The processor also does not do as great as a job upscaling lower resolution content as my A80J but this shouldn't be a problem for most (talking like 720P and below). There's little to no problems on 1080P and up.
This is a total value, amazing color, amazing contrast (was blown away by a starscape), barely any blooming from a head on angle, and clarity is there.
I hear some complaints about the user interface but haven't experienced it, if you get these just throw a Roku ultra on it (or similar streaming device).
I will say sound quality isn't phenomenal, but I also have a Sonos arc and sub on my other tv. You can throw a soundbar on it for a few hundred dollars if you want better audio and for less than $1,000 you can get a great Atmos bar.

I purchased this tv recently for my Game room, and let me just say, the picture quality is amazing, and gaming on the tv is even better! I paired this tv with the Vizio Elavate surround sound, and i don’t think I could get better picture and sound quality for the price!

I was looking for the PQX, the best vizio has, but none available. Got this 75” instead and I’m very happy with it. I haven’t had any problems with sdr, hdr10, gaming at 120hz. I’m running my Xbox series x and a ps5 at 4.4.4 full color and the games look sooo good!

The quality and value of this tv cannot be stated enough. I have got compliments from people who have much more expensive TVs than this. They’ve said they like the picture better than theirs. Not sure I’d agree as I did calibrate this tv and they didn’t but for the money you cannot beat the quality.

Great picture for TV and movies, easy to set up and use, neat home screen. Gaming on it is nice too... only thing that annoys the crap out of me is the auto dimming array, least that's what i think it is. Depending what the movie or game scene is the brightness will change and it's like the TV is having a stroke dimming, brightening, dimming, brightening... I've set it to LOW, which helps it not be so drastic, but cmon Vizio, this is just amateur. Aside from that though, VERY happy with the TV, especially considering it was on sale and cost 1/3rd the cost of the Samsung I really wanted. Now just to see if it holds up as well as my Samsungs have.

Best tv I have ever purchased. This is the second P series Vizio I have owned. The first was a 65 inch and I now have room for the 75 inch.
Picture quality is second to none. Many reviews have rated the Vizio P series one of the best short of OLED.
Black is black and hardly any blooming when white text comes up on a black background. Colors are very brilliant and sharp.
Many adjustments can be made to suit your taste, but the factory presets are very good on their own. Picture is very bright so there would be no problem in a well lit room.
I'll have to work on enlarging my space and saving for the 85 inch. That could be a long time...lol.

You get a lot of features for the money! It will pass through most sound codecs such as DTS, Dolby Atmos, etc. The picture contrast and color are very good, however, the black levels on the first TV were not as good. Good. There was a lot of haloing. 3 and 1/2 months all of a sudden the picture started showing lines on the screens. Before that there was a lot of pixelization even on HDTV that I just thought was a bit much.
Vizio has since sent another TV, the picture is better with this one. Processing is far better. I am a big fan of Vizio, however, this was a tremendous disappointment. I bought this TV for my parents and all of a sudden I get a call with a picture that you were seeing above.
So far Vizio has handled this well, but we will see what happens with this TV set. Because I just had a Vizio 24-in TV started showing lines. My current 2019 Vizio p series has worked flawlessly and I've had two other Vizio TVs that are 14 years old that have worked flawlessly. However, I am worried if this is things to come with the brand now.
