Awesome TV!

TV had rich blacks, ok whites, but sometimes looked a bit washed out, especially at angles. Also some glitches and lagginess with the interface. So I decided to upgrade to the P-Series. Just have to say WOW. Not only is the interface super snappy due to the upgraded processor, but colors were vibrant, blacks very rich and it hooked right up with my Vizio bluetooth speaker system with sub. Everything is awesome! I've seen some reviews that state that this TV can's up sample 480p very well. I haven't experienced that as I like to watch old 80's reruns, and the TV does just fine. It did get about 3 updates when I first turned it on, so maybe that was the difference. I will say that the BB sales person didn't know much about Vizio's and tried to sell me into Sony. Lot of misinformation. I've done a lot of research around the TV's and the Vizio P Series gets higher rankings than some similarly optioned Sonys and Samsung. At $1499 on sale, you really won't find a better set.

Great with HDR, Not as Great with SDR

"Normal" SD and blue rays do not do so well in the up-conversion as well as other TVs do. The local dimming feature with 210 individual areas is phenomenal when viewing in dolby vision.

Caution on Vizio.

This one started having issues 9 months into owning it. We reached out to Vizio Support and they wanted us to mail in in with a cost of $279.00 and they would have it for several weeks. We opted to deal with the multiple issues. A couple of weeks ago it got really bad. Best Buys GeekSquad came out and said the motherboard for power and visual controls are bad and need to be replaced. It is extremely disappointing that Vizio support was essentially useless.

Big upgrade

Huge upgrade over my Vizio M Quantum for not a lot more money. Very noticeable difference in picture when watching 4k content. Sharper contrasts and much brighter. Very good for gaming, though I don’t notice the difference as much (Xbox Series X).

Finally invested in an upgrade, and this TV is amazing. The colors on it really pop and the brightness is amazing as well. We got this for the PS5 and it really delivers, great TV for gaming or family movie night.
