Because of COVID my ability to research TVs was limited so I had to do all my research online and read lots of review and opinions. I thought this was a great price plus I got a nice birthday discount from BB. :) I've watched many shows/movies/antenna TV on this and have to say, the picture is awesome. The blacks are deep with detail and the color pops. I would consider this a great value and high quality.

This TV checks all the boxes. It has every feature you want, from VRR, to HLG, to eARC, to HDMI 2.1. What it doesn't have is software to support it all. The TV has never supported 120Hz properly for me, it either doesn't work in game mode (what's the point), or if it does work it's horrible and tears constantly. For months it would say I was watching HDR10+ content on my PS4 (which doesn't support HDR10+). CEC sometimes just decides I don't get to control the volume on my receiver anymore so I have to go walk over to the receiver and use the knob to turn the volume up or down. I thought my PS5 was broken when I received it because the HDMI 2.1 ports are apparently incompatible with the PS5. Vizio says they're working on a firmware update to fix it, which I'm sure when it comes out will fix that but break half a dozen other things.
And another thing! This TV has the worst panel uniformity of any TV I've ever owned. It's worse than my 720p TCL in the bedroom. I decided to buy this TV site unseen and without seeing any reviews, and now I'm paying for that mistake.
DON'T BUY THIS TV IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO PLAY NEXT GEN GAMES. Movies look great on it, it gets nice and bright, but the gaming features don't work and panel uniformity is really horrible.
Giving it two stars, as if you're only going to watch movies on it, it's probably fine, although the panel uniformity will still be bothersome, especially on stuff like Mandolorian.

WOW. I originally bought another brand / model but after a few weeks just wasn’t happy with it. Thanks to Best Buy’s generous return policy, they took it back and I decided on this TV. This was the one I originally intended to buy, but got swayed by the other brand in the store.
This TV is stunning. Whether off or on - it’s beautifully made, is sleek and minimalistic, and the picture is second to none. With rich, deep blacks and colors, even commercials are alluring. NFL games are like being there, with almost 3D-looking action.
No regrets trading in the big brand for this Vizio. I even went back to Best Buy two days later to collect $200 when it went on sale. Very happy with this purchase.

The Vizio P Series Quantum 2020 is an overall great TV. While the reviews say it is great for dark room viewing, that is not an option for us. My wife has an eye condition that makes it impossible to watch TV with the lights out. Given that, the picture is superb. We watch a lot of sports. The tennis and basketball events look great on cable, while pickleball is outstanding on YouTube. Other streaming (Netflix, Prime, Disney+) through Vizio's Smartcast look just as good as YouTube. I may be biased, but the picture through our AppleTV looks better than Vizio’s Smartcast, especially The Mandalorian. Even though we watch in a large room, our seating arrangement is rather narrow, so we have no issue with the viewing angle. Internal speakers are adequate, but I suggest you also get a soundbar. Vizio's 5.1.4 system is really good. You will have to adjust it for your listening comfort.
We upgraded from a 65" 2017 P-Series. Same price, bigger picture, better electronics, good deal. (the 2017 is in another home, making someone else happy)

I love this TV. It’s huge! Bezels are crazy thin, be careful putting it up on a mount. The OS is super fast compared to my 3 y/Old M-Series Vizio. The only problem I have is I The software bugs with my Xbox Series X and 120HZ but they’re actively updating the software. Noticeable dirty screen effect on bright white images or grays - still great quality

I really don't even know where to start with this review. I could go on for days about everything I love about this TV, so let me just start at the beginning.
First of all, unpacking was insanely easy and simple. I have to hand VIZIO their props for spending so much time and thought in designing the packaging. The TV was extremely well-protected, and getting the TV out of the box and packaging took less than two minutes. After putting on the legs, and plugging it in, it was time to go through the setup.
The setup was quick, easy, and trouble-free. It runs through a setup routine with you so that you don't miss any of the steps.
After setup, it was time to turn it one and test it out, so I decided to try out the different inputs. The first one I tried was for the regular TV, which I get via antenna. I have never owned a television before that was so high-tech, so I was used to "normal" quality images. I was impressed big-time by how much of a difference I noticed from the moment I turned it on. The colors seemed so much more alive than they appeared on my other TVs. I did notice a slight lag in the audio signal, but I think this is due to the VIZIO processing the signal so quickly that the audio can't keep up.
My next test was blue-ray via HDMI. OMG!!! I was completely and utterly dumbfounded by the deepness of the colors, the clarity of the images, the sharp, crisp lines, and even how black the blacks are. The movement of the images was fluid, without shadows. The colors are so vibrant and life-like. And the display is so bright! There was absolutely no lagging here like there was on the antenna input. My next test was the Play Station
I was excited to see how the gaming hardware VIZIO incorporated into the TV was going to handle. Only one word can be used to describe this experience...Flawless Like the blue-ray, the colors are crazy bright, crisp, clear, deep and vibrant. Movement is perfectly seamless. And with the 75" display, it took the gaming experience to levels I've never experienced before. I have a 51" TV, and I was quite happy with such a "large" screen. But compared to this 75" VIZIO, it is utterly dwarfed, as you can see from the photo. I thought gaming was great on the 51", but now I wonder how I dealt with anything so small and primitive, lol.
The VIZIO connects to wifi, and offers A TON of choices for streaming. There are so many free channels that offer so many different choices that its almost silly to actually pay for any.
When it is all said and done, what matters is the experience. Everything about the VIZIO screams AMAZING! The size, picture quality, acceleration, even the built-in speakers. I used to think I enjoyed watching TV, but now I EXPERIENCE TV. There is no other way to put it, you experience the VIZIO, you don't watch it.
It may seem a bit pricey to some, but if I say it is worth it, then you can be sure that it truly is worth every single penny you spend on this VIZIO. I HIGHLY recommend this television to anyone who is tired of watching TV, and is ready to begin experiencing it. I have already talked my brother into buying one. Seriously, do yourself a favor, and go to BestBuy and get one. You will never look at television the same again!

Got it on sale a few months ago for $1499. There were some issues that were address by a firmware update, but I am constantly having to factory reset it. BTW, I just checked the Vizio website, I am running the latest firmware as of this review.
1) When screens are gray, it looks horrible - see the pics.
2) I have to factory reset every 2 months or so for some weird issue. Sometimes the TV doesn't respond to commands from the remote.
3) The e-ARC for soundbars SUCKS. I have a Sonos Beam and I've had the TV turn it up on it's own (with the controller right next to me, untouched) to max volume. I had to shut the TV off and factory reset.
4) My Xbox Series X (I specifically bought this TV in December right afterI got it for the 4K UHD, 120 Hz) was working great when powering it on it would automatically power on the TV and switch to the input. 1 week ago, when I pressed the Xbox button to turn it on the TV would power on, switch the input, but would no longer display video. I now have to switch inputs and it comes on. Yes, I tried a brand new Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI cable. Another factory reset was done last night to resolve this.
5) The picture options suck. They all have to customized. None of them look good. I know, I know, everyone's setup is different but none of them look good in a completely dark basement? Plus, THEY LOCK YOU OUT of some settings. E.X. I start my Xbox, go to the Game picture setting and try to brightening it but the brightness is grayed out. I go to the Movie setting, and I can adjust brightness. WTF? Just let me tweak it the way I like!
6) I regret buying this TV 100%. My other is a TCL 6 Series and every time I use it I think, "Why didn't I just get another one??" I freaking love that TV and so does my girlfriend, and she was against me getting it until I turned on Stranger Things. She literally looked at me and said, "Wow, you were right. This looks WAY better."

I bought this tv the end of May 2021. There are 2 lines one black, and one green from the top the tv to the bottom. This is the the most money I've ever spent on a tv, and its already having issues. I've already contacted vizio regarding this issue, lets see how long it takes to hear back.

The Best Vizio TV Yet

I have had my unit since 6/4/21 - about 2.5 months now. My husband and I absolutely love it. We have a 65 inch Vizio M Series bought from BB in 2016, which is still a great TV, but this Vizio PQ9 75 inch is even better.
PROS: Price - I lucked up on a BB members only $1279.99 deal! 4 HDMI ports, with at least 2 supporting the new 2.1 standard (we haven't attempted to use this yet). QLED and FALD make this tv almost as good as an OLED tv in terms of picture quality. In fact, I would prefer this type of TV if I was mostly viewing in very bright rooms because of OLED not being able to get as bright. Great gaming TV with great response time and low input lag. Great build quality. Frame/bezels aesthetically pleasing. Good panel uniformity. Superior picture quality in HD, 4K, and Dolby Vision. Awesome color and contrast, whether viewing in a bright room or in the dark. With enhanced viewing angle setting on, even viewing from the side is very good. Love Vizio's extensive Picture Settings menu, so things can be tweaked/optimized to account for variations between streaming apps, or even individual movies/shows. Out of the box I found adjusting the Picture Mode to Bright preset, Brightness/Contrast/Color all set to 50, Gamma set to 2.1, Color Temperature set to Warm, Backlight/Tone Mapping set to 85, Active Full Array set to High, Tint/Sharpness set to Zero, Enhanced Viewing Angle On, Reduce Judder and Motion Blur set to 10, Black Detail set to Off, and Film Mode set to On - with no adjustments in the Color Calibration submenu, work well for most streaming apps and movies/shows. Pleasantly, I hooked up our 5.1 Samsung sound system using the optical cable, and Dolby Atmos was immediately making our bedroom sound like a movie theater! We used the same system with the Vizio M-65 from 2016, but the subwoofer REALLY pumps now with the new more advanced TV!
CONS: First let me say, just as with the M-65, we use a Roku Ultra (2020 model) and the latest Amazon Fire TV Cube instead of the built-in Vizio SmartCast system. This is because SmartCast is so slow relative to the Roku/FireCube, and because the app selection is more limited with SmartCast. However this would probably be true of the native built-in Smart systems installed on most name brand TVs based on reviews I have read. Also any content that is only SD (standard definition) doesn't up convert well, but unless we're using the YouTube app or some free apps, this usually doesn't apply. Even with Judder Reduction set to 10 (max) occasionally we still notice some judder in programs. However, as Vizio pushes more updates, this has lessened since the TV was first set up 2.5 months ago. This was also true of my 2016 Vizio M-65 when new but the judder eventually went away with updates. When an app plays any movie or show that is labeled as "HDR10" I have to adjust the picture settings because the "algorithm" is not optimal - however this may not be Vizio's fault as I have read that HDR10 is not as good a standard as Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision shows and movies display in superb quality on this TV. The sound from the native speakers is okay, but lack the fullness and richness of Bass, Subwoofer, and Surround Sound to really showcase the Dolby Atmos capability of this TV. Recommend at least a soundbar and subwoofer (2.1) package.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this Vizio purchase, and it is the third and best Vizio TV yet I have owned. (My first Vizio was a 50 inch plasma from 2006, and was excellent.)
Hopefully this review will help others if they have specific questions about this model or are on the fence about a potential TV purchase.

Best TV i have owned and as good as i have ever watched. Great levels of black and brightness. True black really makes colors pop. The 120hz native refresh makes all motion seamless. Basketball, baseball and golf look incredible. Set up was instant. It auto hooked up with my Polk sound bar with the HDMI-ARC cable. Audio with the Polk 5.1 soundbar is better than my former pioneer 5.1 surround sound set up. The only negative is there is no way to download apps. It does not come with the ESPN or Spotify apps. Not a big deal, the mirroring and casting is flawless.

So far so good! I’ve really enjoyed the color and picture quality of this TV. I really also like how premium it looks with having little plastic around the TV instead it looks like an aluminum type metal around it for the bezel. The colors pop whenever we’re watching a 4K or 1080p movie/ show. The blacks looks comparable to the blacks on an OLED TV. After doing much research online this TV was the best bang for my buck and we ended up getting it on sale for a little over $1,400. For a 75 TV that looks this great with all the features it has like 120hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, full-array back lighting. Those are flagship specs bro, flagship specs
Only downside to this TV would be the smart capabilities of it as you’re really limited to Vizio’s programming. If you like an app that they have that’s great, but some apps aren’t there like HBO Max, Funimation, Crunchyroll, etc.. One thing that I do enjoy about their app is that they have some love channels that aren’t your typical live channels. But for my 3 year old daughter it’s great they have a channel dedicated to Dora the Explorer.
Overall, really satisfied with this purchase and hoping that it lasts us as long as our last TV which was 10 years.

Previously owned and spoiled by a plasma tv and wasn't coming close to seeing anything comparable to that tv that wasn't ridiculously overpriced . 65" seems to be the sweet spot for value but wanted a jump up to a 75" screen. Ended up doing a lot of research and talking to different sales reps. 2nd tier brand names such as Vizio, Hisense, and TCL are receiving good grades for their tech features when compared to 1st tier brand names such as LG and Samsung. However I was still concerned about reliability as I have had good luck with previously owned Samsung TVs and didn't want to purchase a lemon. The deal breaker with regards to this Vizio tv were the future proof features (2.1 hdmi, EARC, 120hz, etc) , picture quality, overall appearance, and sense of value for the price. I could buy two of these TVs and still have money left over compared to the price of a first tier 75" OLED. Additionally, many of those 75" TVs aren't even future proof. I spent some additional money on a protection plan including calibration to ease my concerns about unknown reliability. But, even if my TV turns out to be a bust, or I want to invest in some future TV due to changing technologies I haven't spent an arm and a leg. I received my 75" Vizio on the scheduled date during the scheduled time frame. Installation went smoothly. Picture quality and colors look great. Colors are accurate. Built-in speakers are definitely suffice however I have the TV hooked up to a 7.2.2 ATMOS sound configuration. Incredible! Have viewed plenty of 4K and Dolby Vision videos. Very satisfied. Works great with my Fire Cube voice activation. Very, very happy with my purchase. And I still have some pocket change.
