Excellent TV... After the firmware update
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd probably give it 4 1/2 stars just because there are some software bugs with CEC and it doesn't work well with my Harmony remote because of the lack of direct input switching on the remote. Also, smartcast is horrible, but your best bet is to use get an external device anyway. Chromecast with Google TV is just awesome! I've tried the Sony X950H, Hisense H9G, Sony A8H, all good tvs, except the ghosting issue with the Hisense. This Vizio has the best mix of qualities for me. HDR content is gorgeous, the fixed the local dimming issue with an update, the TV is super bright if you need it to be. The A8H has the best picture quality of any tv I've seen, but its just too dim and they don't have a 75 inch. If you're concerned about QC issues, then tack on an extended warranty. I like peace of mind, so that's my advice.

Best Picture quality for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was good. Back lit panel with excellent picture with limited haloing effect. Just as good as higher end TV quality. Auto diming capabilities. You get good black color. The remote control wasn't impressive, airplay was very glitchy, speakers sound muffled at times, no internet app built-in.

Bad motion
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has great brightness, and looks awesome with HDR content. But, that’s it’s only strength. The motion isn’t smooth, and has a very distracting flicker. Once I got the settings dialed in, it was better. Still, my girlfriend could not believe I spent $2k on this tv for it to be so jittery. On paper this tv looks like a great deal, but in reality it doesn’t perform. Save yourself the time and get the Sony x900h instead. That’s what I did and it’s everything I wish the PQX would have been. The Sony isn’t as bright, but the smoothness is definitely worth the trade.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gets very bright but the motion and software is really lacking. Screen would randomly flicker and would get a green screen occasionaly. I returned it a couple days later.

Beautiful after adjusting settings
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After you adjust the settings to your liking, it's a beautiful tv. Black levels are great and the tv can get very bright. Haven't gamed on it yet but I'm sure it will do fine. Can't add apps to it, so make sure you have some kind of streaming device.

A Beautiful Display
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was torn between either the 65" LG CX OLED or this 75" Vizio Quantum X.. It was a hard decision but size matters.. So I've owned the Vizio for 2 months now.. The Full Array Local Dimming gives this model inky deep blacks that competes with Oled. The colors are truly vivid and really pop. This is definitely the brightest tv I have ever seen. Far brighter than any OLED I've seen. Animations (such as Pixar, etc.) really look amazing with the color spectrum on this tv, as well as the PS5. But I do need to knock off one star for halo's and especially the Judder. The halo effect is a bit bothersome but the Judder is very annoying. These issues can be overlooked considering the stunning visuals this tv has to offer. Hopefully vizio support can work out these issues (especially the Judder) and this could be the Best TV on the market.

Great TV for future proofing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this tv is catching a lot of slack for the halo effect around lettering. And honestly while I do see it I do it find it distracting at all. I only see it while in me u items I have not seen any halo effect during regular watching and I have not seen it during subtitles while watching. The picture is sharp and crisp. I leave the tv in calibrated dark mode. It helps with the tv being so bright. Blacks are super black and it looks great I would not hesitate to buy again!

High end TV at a mid range price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First the picture quality is awesome, I’ve watched several Ultra HD and 4K Ultra HD movies (Blade Runner, Assassin’s Creed, Fifth Element) and was impressed by all. I’ve seen reviews that describe the built-in software and apps as lacking. So far I’ve thoroughly enjoyed “Watch Free” and Chromecast functionality. Especially enjoyed Chromecast which I’ve used to shared my browser (on iOS you will need to download a Chromecast capable app to share your browser) I’ve also used the usual Netflix, Prime Video and others like Plex, Pluto TV and tubi

Amazing viewing experience!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has it all. All the gaming specs you can ask for along with the ability to get VERY bright which makes my HDR content look GREAT! Vizio has already provided a software update that has made it even better. Up to this point I can say this is the best TV I've owned. I can certainly recommend this TV as a purchase that any tv lover wouldn't regret.

Great Picture. Poor Firmware/Software.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regret purchasing this tv. I went from a 1080p 3D Vizio to this, thinking I would have the same good fortune but the firmware on this tv and the problems switching between inputs can be infuriating. Here is a list of issues I have with this tv: 1) Switching inputs is hit or miss. Sometimes the picture will display. Sometimes the audio will work. You often have to switch to another input and then back to try again and hope it negotiates the handshake properly. In cases where I have video but no audio, I can go to settings and toggle off/on eARC and audio will kick in 2) It sometimes turns on and freezes immediately before pulling up the picture (sometimes audio can be heard). Only way to correct is to unplug tv 3) Clock/time is forgotten sometimes 4) Sometimes freezes or says there is no internet connection when using the apps included such as Netflix or HBO max. I have an AV receiver, PS5, and Xfinity box and getting them to play nice is a daily struggle. I originally thought that perhaps it was an issue with my AV receiver or cables but I have since upgraded my AVR and cables since purchasing this and the problems continue. There are forums for this tv and many other people have similar problems with it. This would be a minimum 4-star tv or maybe even 5 because I do love the picture quality but the software/firmware issues are just too much.

Awesome tv with stunning picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I am a super vizio fan and I’m watching vizio 2020 tv production line for a while. Vizio p75qx-h1 is my first priority in my shopping wishlist compare to other high-end brand tv. After two weeks of using, I will say this tv is a killer in terms of its picture quality and brightness. The accuracy of color to the image is absolutely great. Also, it gives you a superb viewing experience for 4K movie or tv series with this 75 inches monster. I am very happy for this purchase and highly recommended for those of you whom is considering a big tv for your daily use.

Picture is great, some bug issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the newest release from Vizio so they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet. The Home Screen crashes, Dolby atmos isn’t registering yet, the lighting zones flicker on some viewings, and the voice remote was not ready for the initial release. Vizio states that they are looking into resolving these bug issues. When you do have a steady viewing the picture is beautiful and the brightness leaves basically no glare issues. I cannot wait for the kinks to get worked out.

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall tv for the money. Tv is bright and colors truly pop. I highly recommend tweaking the picture settings and turning off the extra stuff you don’t need. Motion on this tv is great with no artifacts or blur, especially the soap opera effect. HDR and Dolby vision looks great. I have always had Vizio in the past and made the mistake of buying a high end Sony that died after 1yr and half. When you first get the tv allow it to make the necessary firmware updates.

Gamers Beware: Not Ready for Next Gen
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put, this TV appears to have all of the bells and whistles but the software and execution behind it is just a mess. As a gamer I was excited about 2.1 features that it promised (VRR, 4k 120 Hz, etc.) and this TV either can't do those things or is really janky when doing them. I've been on the phone with Vizio a dozen times and they admit no fault and provide awful service. Never again with this company. The picture can be nice when calibrated properly but a lot of TVs can do that for much less. Everything that supposedly makes this a premium model is basically useless right now. And yes, I have the newest Oct 2021 firmware and that has made things WORSE in some ways (CEC is now busted). If you care about gaming features, avoid this like the plague. I'm serious... You'll regret it. Many of us do.

HDR Picture looks amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a gorgeous TV for the price. If bright and amazing HDR picture matters to you, this Vizio is great. I bought the Sony 900H to compare because I had some buyers remorse. After a short it was apparent that the Vizio just has more of a "wow" factor when looking at the picture side by side. After the most recent firmware updates I have been very happy with the TV. There are still a few promised features that will require firmware updates from Vizio.

Great tv overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the tv is great, but my only complaint would be some inaccurate brighter areas from the dimming zones. Hopefully this will improve with software updates, but it's definitely not a deal breaker and most of the time it has deep blacks with great contrast.

The picture alone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible picture. A bit wonky operating system at times with voice command. Generally works with nvidia shield but sometimes the screen just goes black. Honestly all of this tolerable for the picture quality. Calibrated dark setting still feels very bright and vivid will burn your eyes. Resting easy at night not worrying about burn in. Well pleased.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture with a 4K source Is fabulous except for motion. When the camera pans a scene, the background shakes or flutters and blurs. If some one moves their head to fast, it flutters. Network TV looks better on my cheap tv. Customer service not great. I have always owned Samsung tv’s and have been completely satisfied. This time I didn’t want to spend the extra money. I should have.
