I purchased this smart TV with the impression that this TV would be able to display my Android / iPhone screen wirelessly via Miracast, but that wasn't the case. I also thought that this TV would have the "internet browser" app to browse websites , but come to find out I am only able to browse the limited selection of apps that are available for download via WiFi connection. This TV has good picture . I don't like how this TV doesn't have an audio out 3.5mm headphone jack. Also doesn't have a VGA connector for computer monitors. Only has the standard audio video in/out and hdmi connections. Pretty limited in my opinion.

Excellent selection. And the HDMI connection was remarkable for picture quality. Just getting started on the "Internet" connections, but already impressed with ease of access. Only 35 lbs at 55". Easy to set up.

Very pleased with the TV and also the fast delivery and professional installation. I was supposed to receive a $100 gift certificate and received a notice that it had been shipped but cant find it. Either was not shipped or was lost during installation. Would appreciate any consideration you can afford me on this matter.

I was in desperate need for a new tv for my living room but didn't want to break the bank. I saw this tv at my local best buy and was amazed by the price. The picture quality looked as good as other led tv's that were priced up to $400 more so it was a no brainer for me. I love how thin the bezel is and also that its a smart tv so it's easy to access apps like Netflix with the push of a button. My living room gets pretty bright during the day and the tv looks great from any angle. The only downside is the speakers aren't very good but with the money I saved it's nothing a sound bar can't fix. This tv is the best value for the money and I highly recommend it.

Our family purchase this for our mom to replace her 27" Panasonic picture tube TV - it was long overdue. Best Buy matched Sams price and I used the $20 credit I had on my Reward Zone points, so we got it for $658. You just can't beat the value! The picture is excellent along with the features and ease of connection to our wireless router. The sound is ok - typical for a flatscreen. We hooked mom's stereo up to the TV and utilized the "variable out" sound setting that lets mom use the 1 remote control to turn the volume up and down as it goes thru the stereo. Nothing beats bigger speakers and more power for sound. We replaced the tiny remote with a Universal RCA remote that cost about $15 because the buttons were just too small for mom to use. We have the same remote at our house due to it's ease of use. I love this TV. When our 10 year-old RCA DLP finally dies, I will be getting the Vizio 70" or 80" TV (mom was ok with the 55" but we want bigger). You won't be disappointed with this TV.

I actually ended up upgrading my E-Series 55" to an E-Series 60". It's definitely not the best LED/LCD out there, but as far as I could discern from a couple of weeks of research, it's the best for the money. Based on what I saw on multiple showroom floors (Best Buy, Costco, Paul's TV, etc.), I could not justify the additional $400 for a Samsung or comparable. I just did not see that much difference in picture... perhaps others can. To get the optimal picture out of this thing takes some manual calibrating rather than going with one of the multiple stock settings ("Vivid" seems to be the best of these), but that too is a matter of personal preference. This is not a 4K Ultra HD Curved TV that will rassle dassle your friends or make you feel better about yourself because you have low self-esteem. However, it's a wonderful, functional smart TV at a fantastic price.

We were looking to put a TV in the bedroom. I started looking at the 4k TV's since they have come down in price and the picture looks great in the store. Having done some research it turns out that unless you have a much larger TV (70" or bigger) then getting a 4k isn't worth it. I was originally looking at the Samsung TVs which were about the same size and had similar features. They were a little more however I would have to say that the Vizio TV had the better picture and was less money. I've tried to stay away from the off brand manufacturers thinking that the quality was lower than the major companies like Sony, Samsung, Mitsubishi etc. In this case I was clearly wrong. Pro's - The picture was fantastic. I played with the settings a little bit when we brought it home to get the color right but it was pretty minimal. - The smart tv supports Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, youtube and lots of other providers. I was surprised at how good Youtube was on TV over looking at it on a laptop or tablet. - The wifi worked well. It was a little bit of a pain to setup using the onscreen keyboard but you only have to do it once. - The startup time was acceptable. I know some people felt that it takes too long to turn on and get a signal but we are talking about a few seconds which is more than acceptable in my book. Cons - The speakers work pretty well but the extreme lows from some movies and tv shows sound distorted. I ended up getting a vizio sound bar which fixed that problem, - The remote control works but the buttons are quite small and hard to see in the dark. It would have been nice if there was a backlight option or bigger buttons with a better layout. This is without a doubt a great purchase which I will enjoy for years to come.

This is a great deal for an entry level 55 in TV. Picture looks great after optimization (I used settings from CNET review). Smart features work as they should, and TV was a breeze to setup especially since it is light weight. The remote the TV comes with is generic and button placement doesn't make much sense. I will say this maybe the worst TV remote I've ever used. The built in Wi-Fi is finicky, sometimes it shows full strength and other times I have no connection (My PS3, Laptop, and tablets don't have this problem). overall this is a good TV as long as you optimize the picture and are close to your Wireless access point. The price for the features can't be beat.

I'm a gamer (ps4) and I watch sports mostly on my VIZIO.. It's a smart Tv and it's netflix, internet content and other apps work seamlessly. 55" fits just right in my living room and geek squad did the whole setup in a timely fashion.. I have a sony surround sound blueray receiver hooked up to it and the sound is sick.. It works well with my sony products since Sony I believe also makes VIZIO.. The picture could be a bit more smooth, it's a little etchy when watching sports but movies play well.. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this TV..

This is my first large flat screen TV and I have to say that I'm loving it. I went online to CNET to read their reviews on 55 inch TVs and found both the VIZIO E and M series TVs to be highly rated. I wanted a Smart TV so that I could also use my Netflix streaming and it works great. The picture and sound quality are perfect for my viewing area, which is the living room of my townhouse. I bought the TV a week before the Superbowl and really enjoyed watching the game on it, except for the last part--no fault on the TV's part :-). I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The picture is great and crystal clear for movies, streaming TV or music and gaming. I use a sound bar so a I can't speak on that part. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the remote is very sensitive, you MUST point it to the sensor or it will not respond nor does it light up at all. So know your button placement. I deal w/ it because I don't feel like nor should I have to spend $50+ for a universal remote. TV is worth it especially for the price and size. It mounts easily and isn't heavy for the size.

This television gives you exactly what it advertises on the box. I shouldn't complain about it, I bought it as an open box on discount hoping for more options, but it delivers an amazing picture and sound. I have other universal remotes to replace the basic remote that comes with the set. If you are looking for an inexpensive smart television with Wi-Fi, this is for you. Simple to setup and simple to use.

I got this TV as an "out of the box" deal and was apprehensive at first, but this TV has excellent picture and the smart TV function is great! It was very easy to set up and we were enjoying the TV within 5 minutes. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the base seems to be flimsy and does not swivel. We plan on mounting the TV on the wall but for temporary we are using the stand it came with.

Everything about the tv is great, the picture and sound quality are as good as any and the price is the best we have found. We spent 6 months looking at different ones, and Vizio was the best quality with one of the lowest prices. The only downfall is the remote. The buttons on the remote have to be pressed harder than normal.

My son and I went to Best Buy to purchase a new TV. We were looking at the picture quality of the display models and several looked really good but the prices of those were not in our budget or did not have the features we were looking for. That was until we saw the VIZIO not only was the picture as good as the 1500-2000 dollar models in the 55" Class, it actually had all the features we were looking for. 4 HDMI ports, Smart TV, LED, 120MHZ afresh rate, Optical out and one of the best pictures of every TV on the wall. It was on sale that day and we bought it and a 5 year warranty for less than 900.00 dollars. We took it home mounted it on the wall and after adjusting the picture to the room lighting was even more impressed than when we were at the store. If your on a budget and want the best bang for your buck then do not hesitate, buy this TV.

Nothing bad to say about this television aside from a flimsy base (stand) and the power button being on the back of the TV. Have been using for 2 months with no issues whatsoever. Clear vibrant picture. "Smart" feature is a plus, although we have not used that feature yet since we are used to doing our streaming through our Playstation. Must also say that Best Buy has top notch customer service. They honored a promotional deal that was advertised on the sales floor that had actually ended the day prior. When it was brought to the attention of the sales rep, he was very kind and understanding, and went right over to speak with a manager, and minutes later we were given the sales rate. My husband and I have bought 3 major appliances and a laptop from Best Buy in the last 2 years, and every time has been a great experience. Great customer service and fair prices will keep us coming back!

I bought this TV because of the four HDMI inputs, screen size, & price. I didn't have high expectations for this television, but without question I'm extremely happy I bought it. The picture quality is great, the smart tv features are convenient, and it has enough ports for your devices. Even the USB feature is great, as it accepts both FAT32 and NTFS formats. However, my reasons for reviewing it one star short of perfection are that it has a flimsy stand, no bookmark feature for USB videos, remote does not have a QWERTY keyboard and pressing the buttons is a finger workout. Drawbacks aside this is a great TV.

This our second large Vizio Smart TV in our home (50" & 55"), and we just can't get over the incredible quality at such an unbelievably low price! Our experience with our first one made our second purchase an absolute no brainer...we never even considered another brand. There's not much to say about setup...just plug it in, follow a few minutes worth of very simple, screen prompted inputs, and you're ready for years of very high quality viewing, with several great options! We continue to be amazed at the quality of the picture and the capabilities, right out of the box, of our two Vizios, and we cannot stress enough that these TVs are simply unmatched in both quality and value!!!

It may not be 4K but this TV has delivered great picture quality for the last year. Setup was easy, we do not use the Smart features since we have an Xbox hooked up. Speakers are not great and I would recommend a sound system or sound bar.

works great, easy to use, great picture. was easy to set up. so far I have no problems with this product. I would recommend this product because of the price, picture quality, sound, and ease of operation.
