The thin subwoofer is adequate and I was able to hide it from view. I'm not overly impressed with the Smartcast, but that wasn't my reason for buying it, so I'm ok with that.

Having Problem

Ever since then the sound cuts out on some channels. It's installed correctly; in fact, a Xfinity tech reinstalled it because we got a new cable box...sound still cuts out. The sound test indicates all speakers are working. I called Vizio and didn't get anywhere with them. When it does work, it's great. I wish we could get this corrected. I'm about ready to take it back.

Cons: I have the sound bar connect in the ARC HDMI port and sometimes the sound bar turns on but no sounds. I have to turn the TV off and back on then it is fine

The subwoofer fits under the sofa.. The sound is beyond AMAZING. You don't really need a back left and right speaker with this. I would totally recommend. Its also easy to clean because the set is not covered with fabric. I think the speaker is plastic.
