Very nice and clean sound loud enough for my condo easy setup

So I bought this and immediately wondered if the more expensive model SB-4051-D5 was a better purchase at only $50 more at the time. Bestbuy's great return policy convinced me to give that one a shot and while it was smaller, sleeker and supposedly had better specs, it just sounded worse. the rear speakers on this SB-3854-D0 models are lour and clear, while you can barely hear anything on the SB4051-D5 model. I wonder if mine was defective, but even the front soundbar had a muffled sound compared to this fantastic model. I bought it mostly to get surround sound in Battlefield 1 and i can hear footsteps all around me now. Watching movies is great because the center channel outputs Dialogue so you can clearly hear it without turning up the volume to max and going deaf when the loud action scenes come on. Once again, the rear speakers are brilliant and output amazing surround sound. While there seems to be an issue with the power button on my soundbar not working, and the smartcast app has trouble pairing sometimes, I am more than happy with this purchase. I would highly highly recommend this over the SB4051-D5 model. More expensive isnt always better.

I've never had a sound bar before, but this one is great, especially with the Chromecast functionality built in. Having the subwoofer and satellite speakers are great when you're watching a movie or show and a sound come from behind you. It's like being at a movie theater

It took around 30 to 45 mins to setup it. As every one says it sounds great i like the bass. Still i getting some grrrr noise from rear speakers as i keep it floor need to check with speaker stand which i just ordered. Will update the review once i got it.

Great sound quality, good price. exellent for any space

This soundbar produces amazing sound which fully immerses the viewer from the front and back. Don't let the size of the soundbar fool you, this will pack a punch. It is easy to set up, I recommend using the HDMI cable for sound rather than the optical cable provided. The remote works great and allows for a lot of custom settings.

Sound is great! Minimal wires! Perfect for the price

I was shopping for a flat screen TV for my living room and the sound bar was part of a promotion combo with the TV we selected. My husband was skeptical but we absolutely enjoy it daily. The sound is impeccable and it connects easily to our other devices and apps. I would definitely recommend this sound bar as a great buy!

the quality is hands down. we can hear every little detail in the background. Very easy set up and love the wireless speakers.

Tv used to be hard to understand voice output and music output was terrible but this system changed all that. Now we love listening to Pandora or other music from our TV and BluRay. It has plenty of inputs even via phone and iPad thru Bluetooth. Easy to adjust front and back speakers. Also easy to initially set up.

We recently purchased this soundbar for our family Christmas present. It has really nice sound. It took us a while to set it up (even though you would think it was easy with very few ports). Be sure to purchase the necessary cables. It was on sale at the time, so it was worth the price we paid.

This system exceeded my expectations. For the price it worked really well and was easy to setup. Rear speakers are wire connected to the wireless bass making it a good choice for rooms that were not setup to for media. For the purist, it is a little off, but for general use and price it works well.

This sound from this sound bar is great and exceeded my expectations however sometimes when I turn on my tv the sound bar doesn't power up like it is suppose to. I have to unplug the sound bar from the power outlet and plug it back in to get it to power on. Other than that it is a good system.

Love this set, the 5.1 channel sounds beautiful. The wireless subwoofer (wireless is sweet) connects to the rear speakers via cord (that part sucks) but it all sounds so good!! I hid the cords from the rear speakers behind my couch so you can't even tell. And it's flawless quality for blu rays and music. Buy it

I have always used classic floor speakers from the 1970's for my sound. However, a move to a smaller place that didn't have the room meant a change...I was skeptical of tinny sound and muddled bass. Strictly bought based on reviews/sale price...and couldn't be happier with the sound and ease of set-up.

After reading through many of the positive reviews for this product, I decided to purchase online and so far, I'm glad that I did. The soundbar was delivered to my doorstep one day earlier than expected! The set-up wasn't bad and the sound delivers. Overall, I believe this product is worth checking out.

Ok, these sounds pretty good. But you have to kind of tweek it to your liking. The mids, highs and lows are all available to you. Adjustments can make all the difference. But the controls don't always work like they should. Bluetooth pairing can be a pain.

Married with a LG 4K TV, it produces good sound quality at a lower end cost. I have one problem, which may be caused from the LG TV and not the sound bar. Sometimes the background music or background noise, can overwhelm the foreground talking. I need to contact LG about this.
