Compared to my TV speakers that were starting to fade away in sound, I have to say this system, (which is very affordable) brought my entire living room to life like never before, and I love watching movies on it. Or anything else for that matter.

This sound bar is great. I actually got the a Samsung 3.1 soundbar and didn't really like it. I wanted one for both TV and music. The Samsungs Bluetooth range was literally only about 5ft. I mean what's the point at that range. I also thought the sound quality of the Samsung was just ok so I took it back to give this Vizio setup a chance. I think it actually sounds much better and comes with satellite speakers for less money. Also I haven't tested how far the Vizios Bluetooth range is but I've gone about 30' away with no issues. I've read some reviews saying the subwoofer is too loud? It can simply be turned down if that's an issue so I am not sure why people complained about that. This thing is great and once you get use to using the remote it's super easy to control.

I have had for a few days now... I have been loving the sound for my first sound bar. I haven't been able to watch much sports or TV shows yet, but the movies have been great. My only complaint is the setup with the tv. I had to go to google and search a video to get it all setup. I have the LG 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range - Silver. But once I watched the video, it was pretty smooth.

I bought this after reviewing various other brands of small home theater systems. This is a very nice, relatively inexpensive system that does everything that I need it to do. Small Soundbar, compact subwoofer and nice little rear channel speakers. The remote functions were easy to use and the entire system was very easy to program. I especially like the fact that I was able to,program my Xfinity Remote to work with my new sound system! Great job, Vizio! Thanks, Vizio!

I was very sceptical at first till i gave in....heard them at best buy liked the sound and said what the heck if i dont like it ill give them to my 13 yr old........no luck for him these speakers are worth the price and the sound was of the hook movies.games.and music sound excellent......well worth the price.

Worked right away after hooking up. Already have tested it with movie and enjoyed the sound. Very good choice.

This soundbar was easy to set up and I love the fact I could connect it both to my cable box as well as my ps4! The sound quality is awesome and is perfect for us even in an apartment. The only problem I have with this is not the sound system itself but the app. I could not get the sound bar to sync or recognize and have been trying with no luck. I wish I could figure it out but other than that great product.

We had to get rid of my home theater in a box system, and I never thought a soundbar could replace my baby. Not only is this bar great, but the surround sound is BETTER than my previous system. There is occasional crackle when watching recorded TV shows, but it's nothing. I would give it 4.5 stars, but the BB web site will not let me do so.

I bought this item during the TG Sale. Was really impressed initially with the sound and the surround it created. Although it is not as immersive as the real 5.1 sounds produced by AVRs but it does the job. Out of the box it is very easy to setup and the satellite speakers are easy to setup, provided you place the SW at the back. The problem started after few days of usage. I had it hooked up with my Samsung KS658500 which is a HDR capable TV. I had the soundbar hooked using the TV ARC. Whenever i played any HDR source on the TV (uncharted 4 on my PS4 Pro), TV detects that HDR source is being played and then the sound goes off in sound bar. No sound at all. After the sound goes off, no matter if you switch back to non-HDR sound or any source which was fine with this sound bar, there is no sound in the sound bar. It is only when you restart the sound bar that it restores the sound. I have one more Sony HT and i hooked that up with same TV and tested with same source switching and it worked fine. I tried to like it a lot but can't really overlook functional issues even if sound is good. That i when i decided to return it back. Too bad that it was promising while it worked.

I was a little reluctant to buy this set, as I have always had a more expensive receiver + speakers + powered sub setup. I took a chance on this Vizio system based price and on previous reviews, and I'm glad I did. The system was up and running 15 minutes after it came out of the box. The wireless sub paired quickly and produces deep rich bass.The rear speakers are wired into the sub, so no need to run wires across the room from the sound bar...big plus. I hid the sub in the back of the room, and it does a fine job of making the room rumble. The sound bar and rear speakers produce clear, crisp sound. I have the system connected via digital coax cable from my TV, so the system powers on and off with the TV. The remote that comes with this is a little unusual in that it has a dim LCD display that shows you the various menu options. The concept is great, but the display is kind of dark...no biggie, If you want an easy 5.1 surround sound system that will fill a room with great sound, buy this Vizio package.

This sound bar has good high end and good low end from the bar itself the sub and satellite speakers aren't really that noticeable unless your sitting right near them. But the bar itself is sufficient enough.

This sound bar has 50% better output than the Samsung 3.1 model. Strong overall performance bass,mid, trebel. I initially took back the Visio 38" 5:1 and purchased the Samsung 3.1 model because it came with and option to add wireless rear speakers . Very disappointed with the Samsung model and I promptly returned it to store and repurchased the Vizio 38 inch 5.1 which I had initially purchased. The Vizio sound bar, sub, and satellite speakers flat out just jam. Highly recommended over other brands that cost more money and cannot compare to the Vizio 38" 5.1 You will not be disappointed, trust me. Great sound for movies and music.

This speaker sounds awesome from all angles of the room assuming you space the soundbar and the sub apart like the booklet says.

Purchased the Vizio P55-C1, turned it on, amazing picture. Put up the volume, horrible sound. I had considered getting a sound bar eventually but after hearing this tv i knew i couldn't wait. Actually was able to purchase this from my local big box store for half the price on sale and was thrilled. Was the perfect compliment to my new TV now our set up looks and SOUNDS amazing. My son was playing his video games and he loved the sound and the feel of the sub, made him feel more in the action. works like a part of my TV and sounds amazing highly recommend if you are considering.

After reading reviews on several soundbar systems I decided to give one a try. This for our bedroom TV so I don't need huge volumes, just something that sounded good and can be heard over an air conditioner. Setup was simple. Connected by HDMI. The soundbar automatically is controlled by the TV remote due to HDMI. My wife is thrilled and I didn't go broke to make her happy!

Good sound system for money. Would buy again. Side note purchase the stands for the speakers.

THE VIZIO SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM SOUNDS GREAT. IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL, IT WORKS WITH MY VIZIO TV REMOTE AND THE SUBWOOFER AND SATALITE SPEAKERS HOOK TO THE SOUND BAR WIRELESSLY VIA BLUETOOTH MINIMIZING THE NUMBER OF WIRES I HAD TO RUN.

Got this soundbar for my man cave (garage) and it literally is fantastic. Room filling (and shaking) sound delivered from the soundbar and the bass is on point from the subwoofer. Two car garage over 400 square feet and it is way more than needed when turned up! Purchased this model instead of forking over the extra couple of hundred for the slim-style sub...it's a garage.

The speakers sound good and work well with my TV and connected devices. However, the Vizio Smartcast (based on Chromecast Audio) is unreliable. Sometimes it works as expected, but often it will fail to stream music at all or the steam will be very choppy and inconsistent.

Went to the Deptford, NJ store to purchase this sound system after doing research and reading all the great reviews - but the salesmen said they only had one left and couldnt find it so I purchased it online. Well after set-up it kept disconecting. Called Vizio twice. It would work for about 10 minutes then disconnect, and after getting very frustrated and having to call Vizio twice, I returned it to the Deptford store. It sounded good while it lasted but I guess its true what they say - "get what you pay for".....
