The power would stay on but the sound kept turning off so after buying some fancy audio quest HDMI cables, I decided to contact Vizio because I couldn't resolve the issue. They're sending me a pre-paid packing slip and boxing to ship this unit out to them and they are sending me a replacement which is fine but super inconvenient. Don't buy this model. The new model they are sending me is a SB4551-D4 instead of the current system I have, the -D5 so we'll see how that goes.

Fills up the room nicely during movies and adds great layer to the standard TV speakers.

However, the setup has left an unsecured network running in my house and I can't find a way to turn off the wifi.

Some Problems / Subwoofer Must Be In Sight

The subwoofer must be in line-of-sight with the sound bar to work. That just doesn't work for our living room. The ARC connection was flakey so I had to go with Optical which requires me to use the Vizio remote. Not happy about that either. The Sound Bar does sound good. It sounded better with the subwoofer, but not when it was off to the side of the line-of-sight.

The only way to check the status of the device is to interpret a sequence of lights on the soundbar. Difficult to read and somewhat frustrating.
