Originally purchased the Samsung Atmos which would not work with my Visio 4K TV so we spent 1/3 the price and got the Visio which sounds GREAT, only drawback is the satellite speakers are hardwired to the base unit... no problem if you are sitting up against the wall but our layout puts us in the open middle of our great room so we have to contend with speaker wires which will require us running them under the floor at additional cost.

Great sound- easy set up. Good price! I went from a pioneer elite 5.1 system to this and it's obviously not as versatile, but much sleeker look and style, which my wife demanded. Seriously, she's mean.

I had a 5.1surround sound system built into my home. When I moved I purchased this one it sounds just as good, if not better than that one. It was very easy to install and Vizio has great customer service, if you need a little help. Highly recommend.

The soundbar had a bit too much vibration when stored under the sofa but once I moved it behind the tv stand, it was better. A little harder to hear. I had to turn the volume up a little but overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I purchased this item as an open box but still new. I must say that I was really surprised at the sound quality of this system. Very easy to setup and paired very nicely with my 55inch Samsung 4K in my bedroom. I love the Bluetooth capability and I was on the fence on if I should get the flat subwoofer system of the box and I am so very happy I decided on the flat system as it goes right under my bed. Tons of bass and the highs are perfect. Anyone deciding on a surround sound system will not be disappointed in getting this.

Had a lot of problems with my Vizio 5.1 system. It worked one day but not the next and this went on for several days and I received great assistance from the chat reps Wayne and DJ so having the pleasure of dealing with the same reps every time I logged in made a easier to deal with problem because they knew my case. So now it is17 days into using the system, Vizio informed me (after chatting with them many times) that my product might be defected. I talked with Best Buy about getting an exchange but would you know it, there is a 15 day return policy when a product. can be returned. I think it should be 21 days. But after several chats, Vizio decided to do an Advanced Replacement since I could not get it to connect to my new 4K. So a new Vizio 5.1 was ordered and ready for shipment, during the process, my television installed 197 updates and the system finally connected to my television. When I logged in to cancel the order, I was greeted and chatted with a rep who was very inappropriate. So everything is great. I love the system. The only thing is, the remote could be a light up so when I am using it in the dark I can see what I am doing.

Very good sound, bass is excellent for a flat-style sub. Sometimes have issues with main bar losing connection to sub/satellites, but this is rare (has happened 3 times in 2 years). Had problems using the ARC with it, so finally just picked up a long SPDIF cable, and haven't had any issues since then.

I upgraded from a lesser Vizio soundbar I got as a Christmas gift. First, there is a huge difference in quality as you move up from the " being discontinued" to this newer model. My wife constantly complained about my huge, high end NHT floor speakers, giant 12" servo sub and monster Onkyo THX receiver. I finally gave in and decided to give a soundbar a try, so I asked for one as my Xmas gift. I was dissatisfied with the more entry level model. I told my wife I would need to preview a higher end unit in order to make the switch, and satisfy her asthetic driven agenda. This unit meets all of our needs. It's small, elegant and has kick butt dynamics. This slim subwoofer is unbelievable. It sounds really nice on music. It's unreal for football and movies in our 20' by 24' living room. The smartcast feature is great for someone who is very tech savvy, but I see how it could be totally confusing and a turn off for the technologically challenged. You just need to have patience learning how to operate this thing, and in playing with the settings to tweak it to your liking. Once you have it tuned to your needs and can fluently navigate the menus it's a bargain at $400. Just go for it, but know there is a definite learning curve. This is coming from someone who truly appreciates high quality audio. It's not as good as good quality separate components but at the same time blew away my expectations.

Completely blown away with the sound on this little package. I went from your typical suround sound 5.1 system to this setup. I'm not going back. Big sound at less than half the cost of my typical 5.1 setup. I've utilized the google home integration and the family is already hooked. Enjoy

The new tvs look great and are priced well but they are seriously lacking in sound quality, we would strain to understand the dialogue sometimes. Adding the surround sound is a must.

This sound bar package was a nice asset to my 70” Vizio TV. Easy set up & informative instructions. Beautiful sound. Highly recommend.

This is the second set I’ve purchased. Once the system is up and running it has great sound for an average size room. I dropped this down a star because of the purchase process and set up wasn’t as easy this time. But overall still love it and would recommend it.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. Doesn't over power my mid sized living room and the sound quality is superb. Really good deal for the money, and is exactly what I needed. I made a small mistake and bought some wall mounts for the rear speakers, only to find that mounts were included. (which I opted to use & will return the other) All in all an excellent choice for those of us without HUGE rooms to fill with sound.

it has the best surround sound i’ve heard. i was pleasantly surprised when i saw the size and heard the sound. it’s like being in a Dolby theater, honestly.

I bought one of these 6 months ago, and this one is for a larger room. Both systems have exceeded my expectations! EASY to set up and great sound!

Not that high end a unit - but does the job - good surround sound - it sometimes loses the tv connection but then reconnects - could have better back speaker power/level - but again - better than not having it - especially or the price!

For the price and convenience, the sound quality is very good. Unfortunately, the signal from my Vizio TV occasionally loses sync with the speakers when playing certain streaming content. It happens rarely but it is annoying.

I purchased this product at such a great price. Sounds amazing. Just enough sound to enjoy for the room that I bought it for.

I like the sound bar system from Visio. For its price point I feel it delivers nicely. There are better setups but you will easily pay three times more. So I feel it great sound for its price point.

I love the sound that comes out of the sound bar and the sub but I couldn't connect to the soundbar for the app. My wife kept hearing a high pitched sound that I couldn't hear and every time I turned it on I would get static thump blast coming out of the speakers. Also it keeps turning off on its own and then I have to unplug it just for the sound to come back on. I'm going to return it today and see about getting another one to see if the problem was just a faulty system. The sound is great though. I had a Sony 2.1 and that didn't have the sound levels I wanted or needed.
