This little launch monitor is awesome. It's amazing for how low cost it is. It's pretty impressive how accurate it actually is as well. I primarily got this for getting my overall distances per club down and it has done fairly well. My two gripes with this monitor are the spin rate and the direction (sometimes). With the spin rate I feel like it is a little high. I have seen in a lot of reviews and comparisons to other launch monitors that the spin monitorong should be taken with a grain of salt, which is true. Ball direction can also be incorrect some times. An easy fix for this is to make sure that the monitor is properly set up (exactly 5 feet behind the ball) and is level with your hitting mat. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this launch monitor and recommend it to those who are in need of a budget option.

The Swing Caddie SC4 has emerged as the new champion in the realm of $500 launch monitors. Whether you’re practicing indoors or hitting balls on the range, this device offers a wealth of data and features that cater to golfers of all levels. Ease of Use- One of the standout features of Swing Caddie’s launch monitors is their simplicity. Here’s how it works: Charge the SC4: Once fully charged, you’re ready to go. Positioning: Place the SC4 about five feet behind your hitting area. Onboard Display: The SC4 boasts an onboard display, eliminating the need for a connected device. No hassle, just straightforward usability. Calibration: To ensure accuracy, adjust the tilt until the displayed number reads zero. For precise horizontal launch angles, align the unit with your target (an alignment plate is available separately). Using the Launch monitor at the range was great. Here I used the App on my phone and connected a set of Bluetooth ear buds. This way I could here my distance through my ear instead of the unit itself which may have bothered nearby golfers. App – App was easy to set up on my android phone. You can choose from three view options in Practice mode; Driving Range – Shows basic shot data and a small map of where your shots land Pro – Lots of data Video – Love this one. You can set up your phone on a tripod and it will record your every shot. Nice to review to evaluate what I need to improve on with body motion. The E6 simulator: set up was a bit challenging. Not real great instruction on finding the software package download I eventually headed over to the E6 Support Page on their website. Here I found a link to the E6 Connect Software download (Ver 1.14.1.6 at the time of this writing). You will have to enter your Key number that is supplied on a small card in the box. Once set up, I simply had to connect the SC4 to my laptop via Bluetooth and I could then use the practice range and even golf 18 holes. In this simulator mode I did notice a short delay between hitting your shot and seeing the result on the screen. Pretty common on simulators, just a little longer than pro level simulators I have gone to. One in a while I get a false reading when I hit a real bad shot. But mostly this works great. Note, to my knowledge you cannot putt using this device, you simply hit onto, or up to, the green and the software will give you a ‘Gimmie’ and automatically putt you out. Not a big deal breaker for me as I don’t have a set-up, nor do I need to practice putting on artificial surface anyway. All-in-all it is great to have an in-home simulator at this price point. I simply hit into a practice net while using a laptop. With this unit I received the Practice course and 1 golf course (Aviara Golf Club). Basic subscription to purchase more: BASIC: $300/YR This Subscription provides access to Online Events, Peer-to-Peer, and 39 pieces of rotating Course Content throughout the year. EXPANDED: $600/YR This Subscription provides access to Online Events, Peer-to-Peer, and all non-premium course content available in E6 CONNECT throughout the year. Data Metrics- The SC4 provides an impressive array of data: • Swing Speed • Ball Speed • Carry Distance • Launch Angle • Apex (Max Height) • Smash Factor • Spin Rate (displayed directly on the screen, unlike its predecessor, the SC300i) Accuracy & Effectiveness To validate its accuracy, I’ve extensively tested the Swing Caddie SC4. Here’s what I found: • Consistent Data: Across various scenarios (indoors with premium balls and outdoors with range balls), the SC4 performed admirably. Its data closely matched that of other high-end launch monitors. The only two exceptions I noticed was the Spin factor and short pitching shots. The SC4 indeed reports spin rate, which can be crucial for shot analysis. However, myself and some users have noted that its spin numbers may not align precisely with other high-end launch monitors. Keep this in mind if spin data is critical to your practice routine. (Hopefully addressed in a software update). See pictures attached for comparison between my local Indoor Simulator that also uses E6, but with the TruGolf set up. Shot Recognition Under 10 Yards: The SC4 occasionally struggles to recognize shots within this short distance. If you’re working on chip shots or delicate pitches, be aware of this limitation. I noticed great improvement if you make sure you select the Wedge you are using before hitting. Launch Direction: While launch direction occasionally deviated, it consistently pointed in the correct direction. Professional Fitting vs. Practice Tool: While not suitable for professional club fittings perhaps, the SC4 is more than accurate enough for practice sessions. Conclusion The Swing Caddie SC4 is a versatile companion for golfers seeking both practice and simulation experiences. Whether you’re fine-tuning your swing or virtually playing iconic courses, the SC4 delivers. Plus, its voice output, rechargeable battery, and compatibility with E6 Connect enhance the overall experience. In summary, the SC4 is the go-to launch monitor under $600 for those who value accuracy, ease of use, and a touch of simulation magic. Enjoy improving your game, rain or shine!

Overall, I'd say this is a pretty good launch monitor. I've owned a few over the years from various brands. Primary function for me is to help me use data from the launch monitor to improve my swing and ultimately my game on the course. This VoiceCaddie Swing Caddie SC4 is my first from this brand. I've seen some of their other offerings over the years and they have had decent reviews as well. This one was pretty easy to set up and account and pair with my iPhone. First impressions in-hand is that it feels chunky. Sturdy for sure with a robust hinge and nice magnetic storage compartment for the remote (if needed...I used my iPhone for club selection). But with that nice glossy front, I'm cautious of damage and scratches. A negative is that no case is included, not even an cheapie pouch or something. SC does sell one separately, but for fifty bucks which I think is a poor choice. Anyway, onto the performance. Took it to the range and setup pretty easily per the instructions. Played with the alignment only a little and it is nice that it has a built in level to tell you how many degrees tilted you might be so you can shim the stand to perfectly flat. Tested with SW, 7i, 4h, 3w and two drivers. Data is great. Easy to read on the display, though when sun hit, it washed out a bit due to the glare. But I could also check the numbers right away on my iPhone app which I kept in my pocket. I did feel like the stats were close to the actual track, but maybe a little juiced. I don't think I swing quite that fast (doubt I got stronger over the winter at now 50 years old) but the ball speeds were about right, resulting in a lower than normal smash factor. The reported carry was a little longer than I think actual since I know this driving range for years and checked a couple pins with my range finder. I like that it reports spin...definite benefit assuming accurate. One negative to me is that it does not record video of your swing from the device itself. You need to set up your iPhone in tandem to get that integrated with the data. I think if it had a camera included in the face of the device itself along with an included case, this would absolutely be 5 stars at this price point.

I play golf weekly when I’m able. I have a huge slicing problem and whenever I’ve gotten coached they always talk about my ball speed and power and connection with the face of the club. Also my driver and 7 are my best clubs of course but I needed to dial into a few other clubs specifically to see how they differed other than distance. Setting was super easy and it did t require me to use the app but I still downloaded it. The app is ok but could be better with visual trajectory information but I think those come with the higher resolution end sets. My fave part of the machine is definitely the remote. Put it in your back pocket while swinging, so you can easily and quickly change clubs to get the correct data. I hit 50 balls and only got one error and it’s because I topped the ball. The data that I’m able to get from this swing caddy is very helpful and I don’t have to leave the house. You just set up the net in the back yard and you are good to go. I wish it came with a storage bag but just keep the box.

As an avid golfer I have used many portable Launch devices and simulators to hone my swings and club distances. When I received this I was excited to get it out to the range and test its features and accuracy because that's what matters, those amazing numbers to get the shots dialed in. For this review phase, I went to the driving range on 4 days and used a little over 100 balls each session. Day 1: I got it fully charged and took it to my garage for the indoor simulator portion just to ensure everything was setup. The little remote out the back was simple to get connected and going. I downloaded their app and paired everything up. I then placed it behind my tee 5 ft as it instructed. I hit a few balls and noticed I needed to select the driver on remote which quickly displayed on the monitor and in phone. I packed up everything and headed to the range. Once there I got everything setup and had to adjust the unit alittle to ensure it was flat. I started with my driver which i normally hot 250-260 yds. It registered 255, 271, 266. The data was all over the place, I looked back and noticed the unit was tilted back a little bit. So I went to truck got a piece of cardboard put down and level. Started hitting and all the numbers were 251, 253, 257 and my RPMs and launch angles were all close. So i knew were were dialed in. I tested every club out and got day one results. Day 2-4 range days were pretty much the same except for day 4 when the wind outdoors was definitely stronger around 10-15 mph winds. It caused some of the numbers to be wonky so i decided to toss those numbers from my shot analysis in the app. Overall Impression was I'm very happy as the when you pair the device with your app on phone you can see a Realtime data for each shot, its disbursement and swing speed, smash factor, apex and all the good stuff! Additionally, it has a video record of your swing and playback for each shot mode that allows you to see how you swung and what that shots metrics were. Overall this device was highly accurate for my golfing needs and was within 1-2 yds of my clubs norms that I have spent dialing in on machines that are 10x more expensive. So what this device offers is a massive bargain and sure to help you dial in those numbers.

When enhancing your golf skills or enjoying a virtual round of golf, the Swing Caddie SC4 launch monitor proves to be an excellent choice for both novices and seasoned players. The device is thoughtfully packaged, featuring a robust design where the back lid doubles as both a stand and a secure cover for the magnetically stored remote, snapping shut with a satisfying click. Setup and Software Compatibility The setup involves installing two applications: MySwingCaddie and E6 Connect. These programs are essential for maximizing the SC4's capabilities. MySwingCaddie is focused on detailed analytics, tracking various data points, while E6 Connect enriches the virtual golf experience. It should be noted that while E6 Connect performs well on larger devices like the iPad Mini, it is less suited for smaller screens, such as those on many smartphones. User Experience and Analysis Tools Pairing the device is straightforward, with no connectivity issues. The integration of Swing Caddie and E6 software significantly enhances the user experience. The SC4 not only provides immediate feedback on data such as club speed, ball speed, spin, and trajectory, but also features a video capturing tool in the Swing Caddie software. This tool records every shot, storing the videos on your device, which provides a comprehensive analysis by showing actual swings. This video feedback is crucial for making precise adjustments to your swing, stance, and approach that data alone may not fully reveal. Portability and Practicality Although not extremely compact, the SC4 is sufficiently portable for easy transport to a local driving range, the ideal venue for utilizing this device outside the home. A notable drawback is the lack of a carrying case, which, given the price point, would have been a valuable inclusion to enhance its portability. Final Thoughts Overall, the Swing Caddie SC4 is a formidable tool for golfers aiming to refine their game through both detailed data analysis and visual swing assessment. With its robust analytics, immersive virtual golf experiences, and practical video feedback, it serves as both a serious training aid and a source of entertainment. Despite some limitations in software adaptability on smaller devices and the absence of a carrying case, the SC4 remains a compelling choice for those dedicated to improving their golf performance. Whether practicing at the driving range or in your backyard, the SC4 enriches your golf experience with each shot.

This is a great piece of technology. First impression was how small the unit is, smaller than a box of a dozen balls it will easily store in a bag pocket even in the box. The magnet that holds the remote in place is strong. You don’t have to worry about it falling off. I downloaded the app and set up my set of clubs before taking out for the first time. Out of the box the SC4 displays Total Distance, Launch Angle, Swing Speed, Ball Speed, Launch Direction, Smash Factor, Apex and Spin. The data in the app also includes Carry Yards Got out to the range for a quick after work session and was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of the distances. I use the Golfshot app on my phone which has an option to track total distance using the phones gps, so I have a solid basis for the average on all my clubs. The distances from the SC4 were within 10 yards of my known averages on each club I used. The display is large enough and bright enough to read in the bright Florida sun. One thing I did notice was I lost the spin rate at one point, possibly because the angle of the setting sun was directly at the screen. I changed my target hitting from the left side of the tees aimed to the far right corner of the range and it did start registering again. You use the remote to change clubs on the SC4 each time you pull a different club from the bag. I did forget to change at one point, so the shots I hit with my gap wedge were all logged under my pitching wedge When I got home I paired the SC4 to my phone and started going through the data and was impressed with all of the options. You can even export your data, sending it out in an email to yourself or someone else as a .csv file The app doesn’t adjust the display when you rotate your phone, so you only get a couple columns of the collected data when looking at the list of shots but you can scroll the screen left/right to see the rest of the data. There is an edit function that lets you delete shots. so you can remove any you want. Would have liked the option to edit the club so I could have kept the handful of GW shots that were logged as PW. Overall this is full featured unit for the price and I was impressed with the quality and accuracy. I have several shafts for my driver and I’m looking forward to trying each with with the SC4 using the different loft options to see which gets me the best result where before I was going strictly on feel.

***Introduction:*** Considering the Swing Caddie SC4 for your golfing needs? Let's cut through the marketing and dive into whether it lives up to its hype. ***Packaging & Physical:*** The SC4 arrives with reasonable packaging, sporting a sturdy design. The back lid serves double duty as a stand and storage for the remote, which connects into place with a magnet. The front panel is smooth glass, which may be a cause for concern regarding long-term durability. The material is a decently thick plastic, though something more rubber-like for the edges would have been a good idea. ***Setup:*** Installing MySwingCaddie and E6 Connect for SC4 setup proves to be straightforward, though navigating their compatibility quirks can be a hassle. Larger screens fare better with E6 Connect, so expect to use an iPad or Laptop to get the best experience. ***Software Compatibility:*** The integration of Swing Caddie and E6 software offers a decent user experience. While the SC4 delivers prompt feedback on key metrics like club speed and trajectory, the video capturing tool feels like a last-minute addition, offering more flash than substance. ***Seamless User Experience and Comprehensive Analysis Tools:*** Pairing the device is hassle-free, with no glaring connectivity issues. The SC4's feedback on critical data points is commendable, though its video capturing tool lacks the depth needed for comprehensive swing analysis. ***Portability:*** While not exactly pocket-sized, the SC4 remains reasonably portable for trips to the driving range. However, its lack of a carrying case feels like a missed opportunity, leaving users to fend for themselves in terms of protection. ***Conclusion:*** In summary, the Swing Caddie SC4 offers a solid option for golfers seeking data-driven insights. Its sturdy build and practical software integration make it a decent investment, albeit with some rough edges. If you're willing to overlook a few shortcomings, the SC4 could be a worthwhile addition to your golfing arsenal, earning it a respectable 4-star rating.

Bought this thing a while back. Tried it inside to gauge expectations. Then after a while tried it outside. Has some good stats. Some items wouldnt provide information. Aimed the unit at a flag on drivung range. Used a laser to verfy distance. I hit next to the flag several times and in average the yardage was off by 10 yards. Gave me no confidence in what I had purchased. Wanted to send it back but after return period. Never will spend money on one of these things again. Boxed it up and on a shelf

Looking to take your golf game to the next level? Let me share my experience with the Swing Caddie SC4, a tech tool that exceeded my expectations. # First Impressions Right out of the box, the Swing Caddie SC4 caught my attention with its sleek design and compact size. Despite its lightweight build, this gadget is packed with features aimed at improving your performance. With capabilities like measuring ball speeds ranging from 40 to 220 mph and carry distances from 5 to 400 yards, it's clear that this monitor means business. # Using the SC4 at the Driving Range Setting up the SC4 at the driving range was a breeze. I quickly started receiving real-time feedback on my swings. The onboard display provided easy-to-understand data after each shot, which was a game changer. Analyzing my ball speed, launch angle, carry distance, and more became effortless, without having to adjust my stance. # The Swing Caddie App: Your Digital Golf Assistant Next, I connected the SC4 to the Swing Caddie application, and let me tell you, it made a significant difference. While not necessary, using the app is highly recommended. It offers a range of functions, such as keeping track of all your practice shots, recording your swing with data overlay, and even turning your phone into a remote for the SC4. It felt like having a personal golf assistant in my pocket, ready to provide insights and tips on the spot. # Dependability Under Scrutiny What impressed me most about the SC4 was its precision. The accuracy in calculating carry distance matched that of more expensive models I've tested before. While earlier versions had some issues with spin rate measurements, recent firmware updates have significantly improved accuracy. I found the spin data to be quite reliable, with only a minor discrepancy of around a hundred RPMs on average. # Beyond the Driving Range: Access to Iconic Golf Courses One of the standout features of the SC4 is its compatibility with golf simulator software like E6 Connect. While I haven't fully explored this feature yet, the idea of virtually playing rounds at some of the world's most renowned courses is incredibly enticing. The SC4 goes beyond being a practice tool; it turns your living room into a global golfing experience. # Final Thoughts After spending a day at the range with the Swing Caddie SC4, I am convinced that it is a must-have for golfers of all skill levels. It offers a reasonable price point and a wide range of features, and it provides insights that can genuinely enhance your game. Whether you're fine-tuning your swing or just starting out, the SC4 serves as a reliable personal coach, always there to assist you. In the world of golf technology, it's rare to find a device that strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and functionality. The Swing Caddie SC4 exemplifies this, delivering on its promises. It's not just a purchase; it's an investment in your golfing progress. Based on my experience, it's undoubtedly a decision worth making.

I’ve been using this device on the golf range and it’s definitely been helping me gather a lot of data. And it’s definitely helped me with knowing my yardages and where to improve. The setup was super easy it took me about 5 minutes from the first time turning it on to set up. The display on the front is very bright and the device is very sleek. Adding to the app is super simple. So simple that you have to be careful that you don’t add another device. The bay next to me had the older voice caddie and it picked it up. Just be aware of that. But man this thing It tracks so much data at first it can be overwhelming but I was able to breakdown the main points that I wanna work on. Yardage, Club speed, ball speed, and Launch angle. You can definitely see results and accuracy when you change your swing in incremental ways. I love the feature where it let me record automatically for each swing when it registers. It saves it on your phone in the camera roll and it sort it in the app which is really nice. All you have to do is after it’s connected to the SC4 you go to Practice > Video Mode and set up the angle/framing, put what club you are using, and the app/ SC4 will do the rest. Super simple to set up and super practical. It displays your club and distance on the video thumbnails on the home page. You can see your low yardage mess ups and see your high yardage where you absolutely crush it and see what you are doing right or wrong on video perfectly organized in clips. This is already to upgrading my golf game and also allow me to make informed decisions on the course with which clubs to use on the course. I also am now able to use a net and get more practice in at home. The SC4 is a must have for advancing your golf game to the next level.

I'm a big fan of data and this little device gives you a ton of it. Accuracy seemed good enough but requires some tweaks to it's position to make sure you're getting the best results. Setup was easy enough. You need the VoiceCaddie app which does most of the tracking for you. Hitting the BlueTooth button in the app will connect to the unit and you're all set. There's also an E6 Connect app which is their virtual golf course. Connecting to this the first time was a little weird because the VoiceCaddie app was still connected in the background so E6 wasn't actually picking up my shots at all. Quitting the VoiceCaddie app helped connect with E6 and it worked well enough. I think I would use an iPad for this next time. Most of the buttons seem like they were designed for a larger screen. I'm also interested in trying this out with a projector at some point to make a full on virtual golf course at home. You'll probably use the VoiceCaddie app for the most part, though, which I found to be pretty well designed and easy to use on my phone at the driving range. Position and orientation of the unit does matter quite a bit. You'll notice a lot of variance if it's not on a level ground and even with your shot. If you're going to a driving range, you'll probably need to bring an extra mat or some surface you can prop the SC4 on behind the driving range mat so you have everything on the same plane. Once you get it dialed in, it does become easier to set up and you don't really have to touch it again. Using the SC4 is pretty dead simple after you have it set up correctly. Just glance back to see how well your last shot was. The included remote lets you change clubs and modes fairly easy but I found the range or angle on it was really small. It could have been the sun, but I had to get pretty close and have a really straight direct line of sight for the remote to work. The magnet holding the remote in place is really strong so you shouldn't have to worry about it falling out in travel. You just slide the remote out sideways to remove it so even with the strong magnet, you don't have any difficulty removing it yourself. The app does a good job of showing you how consistent your shots are by showing their locations on a virtual driving range. If you biff a shot, the accuracy of the device goes down quite a bit but you can always delete those shots so they don't mess up your data. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone serious about improving and practicing their swing. It fits well in your golf bag for easy transport to the driving range. You can also just use it with a net in your backyard if you can't get to the range. This makes it easy to just take a little bit of time to take some practice swings any time you want. If you're just getting started, you can probably hold off on this until you get some of the basics down, but once you get to the point where you want to track your swings and see where you can improve, this could be helpful for you.

The Swing Caddie SC4 gives you good feedback in a user-friendly device at a good price. While it does not provide all of the data parameters of some more sophisticated and expensive units, the data it does track is accurate and helpful. It is designed for outdoor use only- it does not have a short indoor mode like my Mevo+ unit has. The VC app lets you set up your clubs so that you can track data from each club, and it will store the information for you in an easy-to-read format so you can track your stats over a period of time. The included remote control is a great idea. It makes it so easy to change club selection and modes without having to bend over and make changes on the monitor itself. The Bluetooth feature to connect to your phone or tablet for data tracking works well. It does seem to have a short range, though, which is not a big deal at all. I just noticed it when I had to move to a grass area away from the artificial turf at the driving range to use my driver off a tee. I didn't move my phone with me, and it didn't store the driver data. Next time I'll bring my phone closer. The app does have a video mode that will record your swing with a graphical overlay of the shot. To me, this feature is too much of a hassle to set up at the driving range and not worth it. I would say the same for the E6 app connection you can use with the monitor to play a virtual course- nice feature, but not really worth messing with at the driving range. That is a feature that I'll use my Mevo+ in my garage if I want to play a virtual course. On the otherhand, the Mevo+ is a pain to set up on the driving range, so the Swing Caddy SC4 is much easier to use outdoors and I would highly recommend it for that over the Mevo+.

Great tool for improving your golf swing. I previously had a much more expensive launch monitor 2 years ago and it did not even track allthe stats this unit does. Setup and configuration was pretty simple and enabled me to start getting swing stats same day. Itook ittothe range. But where I really enjoy using it is at home. I set up an impact screen and a projector and have had hours and hours of seeing results. It has allowed me to start focusing on improving impact by monitoring the smash factor which is big! Making small adjustments to swing path can be seen in the numbers and in the path of the ball. After getting used to what all of the statistics mean and correspond to in your ball flight and swing, it is easier to understand how to improve to get the results and ball flight you desire. It really does give you a new wayto improve faster and more efficiently. The software is great and gives fast and accurate results. The swing caddie looks great, is compact, and feels well built and engineered. For the price of one or two clubs, this is an item to add to your bag that just helps you understand your swing and ball flight.

I have enjoyed using the SC4 during my practice sessions. Ease of use is awesome, you can generally get it setup and ready to use in just minutes. Can be used with or without the phone app but the phone app does add some great data. The nice thing is if you use the SC4 without phone app it will give you the chance to sync those shots to the app next time you open it up and connect to it. Using this with different clubs is super easy with the remote and is pretty easy to read even when its really bright out. You can set it to also give you an audible readout of the distance of each of your hits which I liked. The SC4 itself doesn't have a camera but you can use your phone with the app to record your hits and save it to the session. Accuracy wise it seems like its mostly there, the data from some of my driver hits seems a bit wonky and the ball spin speed RPM seems inflated. With wedges and irons it seems to be completely on the money compared to other systems I've used both casual and professional. My SC4 also came with a free course and driving range to use with E6 golf sims for those with a home setup. For the price this is definitely a feature rich piece of kit for some extra data while you practice, I would definitely recommend giving the SC4 a look.

The VoiceCaddie - Swing Caddie SC4 Portable Golf Simulator and Golf Launch Monitor is an incredibly advanced golf accessory that has greatly improved not only my golf game, but also my love for the sport. Being able to see and assess the detailed information the Swing Caddie SC4’s launch monitor provides has completely changed my approach to this complex yet addicting game that I can’t seem to get enough of because of the way it makes me challenge myself and my desire to get better and better. I am certainly nowhere close to being a pro but my viewpoint when it comes to the game of golf has always been the idea that I’m always just competing against myself. This is why I feel the Swing Caddie SC4 is such an invaluable golf accessory. It provides a way for me to track and analyze the different aspects of my game in a way that I have never experienced before, and I can’t get enough! My brother-in-law has a net setup in his backyard that we often use for practice. He has a launch monitor of his own that I have used a few times but it pales in comparison to the Swing Caddie SC4. Now, instead of hitting balls aimlessly into the net without a clear idea of what the shot would look like on an actual course, I have my own launch monitor to give me the important details on every shot. Plus, it has a video capturing feature that records every shot so I can see my actual swings. This, in combination with the detailed stats like total distance, launch angle, spin, ball speed, etc. is what gives me a better all-around picture of how I am doing and what minute adjustments I need to make to achieve better results. The fact that the Swing Caddie SC4 also comes with a golf simulator with one free course included is a very nice added bonus. Even with just the one included course, I never seem to tire of challenging myself on it and trying to improve my consistency and do better and better each time I play it. The other thing I really enjoy doing with the Swing Caddie SC4 is using it at the range where I can compare how my shot looks with the actual stats. There is no doubt that the SC4 is extremely accurate in its measurements based on my experience with it at the range in addition to when I have compared the results to my brother-in-law’s own launch monitor. Overall, the VoiceCaddie - Swing Caddie SC4 Portable Golf Simulator and Golf Launch Monitor is an incredibly useful golf accessory that has completely changed the way I play the game and I highly recommend it!

For most of us hack-a-golfers, we are looking for ways to get better and enjoy more. Many of the options out there are either gimmick or hacks, that just don't work. This is NOT one of them, this can lead to more fun and improving your game. No more need to just get a bucket, and wack away at the driving range. Using this, you can get REAL data, to help you with what you want to work with. You can get more accurate picture of your hit, especially if you are at a facility with short nets or inside a dome. Setup was relatively easy. Took some time to adjust, and get aligned but after you get it... easier the next time as well. Cordless, with as best I can tell, a very long life battery, haven't been able to nix it yet. Shows the distance, Direction, Speed, Spin and some other key stats... that you can compare swing after swing, to see how you are doing, or what that 1 adjustment did compared to the previous swings. Simple remote to help control options and modes... that snaps right back into the unit so it won't get lost. Blend in your personal phone or tablet, and you can setup a tripod, and collect not only the data from the unit, but also the actual capture of your swing... so you can look at everything... or take it to a pro (or someone you trust) and look at your practice session and get advice on what to do next time. Big plus: it is relatively small, easy to put in your bag and carry with you when you ar headed out to the range. Downside... for the price, it should have came with at least a soft/slip cover protection on it. There is an external carry case you can purchase. So far I have used this primarily for my practice sessions on the range, only have a few sessions in so far, as the weather is still in flux. Now starting to make plans to build an indoor practice space for my garage, so I can practice when I quickly have some time, now that I can get stats like this. And of course then I can play the virtual golf round, by connecting a laptop and a TV to that laptop. The possibilities are going to be great, with out breaking the bank. This would make a GREAT Mother's and Father's Day gift, for the golfer in your family.
