I play golf a lot, therefore I've always looked for ways to get better while being able to track my progress. The Voice Caddie T9 Golf GPS Watch is a product that is transforming the golf world. Rather than a normal range finder, this watch gives distances while also being able to track your shots every round. This GPA watch performs well on the course and has a bunch of different features that can help golfers practice. First, one of the most outstanding features: the Tempo Mode. Although I am not good enough to really care about my tempo, the tempo mode has been cool to play around with. The tempo mode tells you your speed for your backswing and downswing and it differentiates between your driver tempo and approach shot tempo. It gives you an average tempo for all your swings in a round. The tempo mode is good to use on the driving range when you are practicing a new swing or just trying to get a better tempo. However, the Voice Caddie T9 offers more past the tempo mode. Its leading GPS technology, along with Green Undulation, elevates course management to a whole new level. Each hole is mapped out by the GPS, which also provides yardages to bunkers, hazards, and to the pin. I've found that this accuracy has been really helpful in hitting my shots and preventing yardage errors. You are also able to customize the pin location if needed. This can be helpful if greens are moved because of construction or renovations on a golf course. The GPS is able to identify what course you are playing as soon as you step onto the tee box, and automatically downloads the hole visuals and shows it on the watchface. Providing green undulation data is one of this watch's best features. Understanding the green's characteristics lets me hit my shots with assurance, making sure my ball lands in the best possible spot for a putt. My putting has greatly improved as a result of the green undulation feature. I can now read the greens much better and hit my shots accordingly. The green undulation is shown with a heat map. It tells you where the slopes are in the green and helps you determine where you want your ball to land and roll out. In addition to its performance on the course, the Voice Caddie T9 is also very easy to use. I can easily access all the key features thanks to the user-friendly layout. It is very easy to see the layout of each hole because of the big screen. The big screen is nice because it is easy to see but not too bulky. You are able to control almost everything from the watch alone and don’t really need your phone. An additional factor that this GPS watch has is its extended battery life. With this extremely long battery life, I don’t have to worry about the watch dying in the middle of a round and losing all my data. I can play a full eighteen holes or nine, and the Voice Caddie T9 stays alive the entire time. However, its performance on the course is definitely the defining indicator of its excellence. Having precise yardages and green data has given me a lot of confidence and I am able to hit my shot knowing I have the right club for the distance. I am constantly hitting more greens in regulation with this watch on and not missing short like I used to. For golfers of all skill levels, the Voice Caddie T9 Golf GPS Watch is a game-changer. If you are a rather good golfer and you play tournaments, you are able to disable the slope and GPS to make it eligible for tournaments. Its advanced features, such as green undulation data and Tempo Mode, offer course assistance and analysis. This GPS watch is a necessary tool for any golfer because of its clear interface, extended battery life, and outstanding performance. This watch can help anyone take their game to the next level and help lower all handicaps. It helps you navigate the course with precision and confidence. Additionally, the durability and reliability of the Voice Caddie T9 should be applauded. Its construction helps ensure that it can go through a round of golf without being harmed or damaged. The connectivity features of the Voice Caddie T9 enhance the overall golfing experience. With the ability to sync data to my smartphone, I can easily track my progress over time and identify areas for improvement. When connected to your phone, the watch also gives you text notifications. You are able to track all your scorecards from all your rounds on the app. Also, the watch lets you change the interface and it can act as a real watch with time. You can also change the home interface from your phone. The app also lets you track your average driver distance and your max driver distance. The app that goes along with the watch is very user-friendly, and shows your shot by shot on every hole. The watch easily integrates with the Voice Caddie app, allowing me to analyze my rounds in detail and gain insights into my performance. Another aspect that sets the Voice Caddie T9 apart from other GPS watches is its extensive course database. With thousands of preloaded courses from around the world, I can take the watch with me wherever I play knowing that I'll have access to accurate yardages and green information. Whether you're a pro or just an amateur, this watch will help you improve the way you play. The watch came with an extra watch band and the charging base for it. The Voice Caddie T9 Golf GPS Watch is a top-tier product that performs exceptionally well. Its innovative features and user-friendly interface make it a must-have for any golfer to improve their game. Lastly, this watch is extremely easy to set up. A manual comes with the watch and it gives you individual instructions on how to set up the certain features.

Initial Impressions: It's neat ! I unboxed this watch a day prior to heading to my favorite driving range. I live in a golf community so it's a quick walk over to practice my swing. I unboxed the watch and popped it onto the included magnetic charger. the watch was received partially charged and was full within an hour. Physically - the watch is large. It's quite thick, it makes my current smartwatch (42mm) feel svelte. I don't plan to wear this watch daily - I'm just interested in the swing tempo, training features and advice it can provide while actually on the course. So I'll admit it - I'm a relatively terrible golfer. I'm just bad. There are other sports I am relatively good at - golf is just not one of them. I though if anything would help me at least a litte - this watch would. I set out to see if this could improve my swing tempo. It definitely helped me "get in the zone" - I was able to quickly evaluate and practive my swing both in my yard and indoors. The driving range - I was impressed to see that it did recognize my local driving range. The range is attached to a full course. I was suprised to see that it mapped out the range the same way it does on the normal course. It was able to show the slope and map the small hills and yardage. I went through a few buckets and was able to get better control of my swing for a given yardage. Did it improve my swing ? DEFINITELY. Next - I played the front nine on my local course. I walked it to try out continually checking the watch. It was able to keep track of my exact position constantly and map out the valid areas of the course in any direction. Having the information on my wrist to help with club selection and yardage was great and definitely improved my game while practicing solo. Connectivity: Bluetooth connected to my phone and the companion app without issue. Battery Life: The watch is rated at ten days in watch mode and 27 holes in golf mode. I was unable to run it completely out of power from the time I received the watch to when this review was written (7 days) which included much swinging at nothing in my yard, two hours at the driving range and 9 holes on an actual course. What I love - Bright and easy to view screen. I'm a terrible golfer but it did appear to help me dial in my swing ! Yardage display without using any other tools ! Room for improvement - It would be nice to have other stock functionality. It's golf modes and basic watch.

The T9 Voice Caddie watch is my first foray into wearable golf devices. I’ve always been intrigued if they would be helpful for my game and after having my watch for about two weeks and wearing it for multiple rounds I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Initial setup out the box was straightforward. Once charged the watch I thought it was ready to go but the first time I took the watch to my club it did not find my course it just stayed searching on the GPS the entire time. Once I got home, I had to pair it to my phone via the app and update the watch and download my local courses so I would definitely recommend doing that out of the box initially. Luckily, I belong to a private 7 course club, and it had full capabilities for all the courses besides APL. Once you get to the course you put the watch in Golf mode, and it will link up with the GPS and search for the courses. Once found it will tell you to go to the first tee to start the round. You can do course previews on the app or watch itself. You can also set how far you anticipate hitting your driver to allow it to show you where you expect the ball to land to anticipate your shot. The watch keeps track every time you swing the club and will track when you stop at your ball to give the true distance of your shot. There’s also a tempo tracker that will tell you the pace of your swing. The one thing that isn’t entirely accurate is the pin placement but luckily you can swipe right and load the green and update the location of the pin. It isn’t 100% accurate but it’s very close. But you also can set the pin distance and your ball placement once you get on the green, so you know how long your putt is. The undulation on the green is available to show you the breaks while putting which has been very helpful for me. Once you walk off the green the watch will vibrate and you can update your score for the round and the app is robust showing you statistics for your round showing GIR, Avg Putts, and Steps walked. Overall, it’s a pretty decent package for someone looking to track their golf shots and rounds and not have to pay an annual fee for the services. Everything is completely free and included with the watch itself. The watch also can receive text messages from your phone as well as be a fitness watch to track steps and distance walked and calories burned. The one gripe I have about the watch is you must wear it on your left wrist regardless of if you’re right or left-handed. I am left-handed but golf right-handed and I usually wear my watch on my right wrist, but it doesn’t track your shots if you do that and there’s no way to change it in the settings. So hopefully that will be something that will change in the future with a software update. Overall, for the price I think the T9 voice caddie is a solid GPS watch. It has a robust number of features for the golf enthusiast along with being a watch you could wear everyday if you wanted to. The pin needing to be updated and the watch only being able to be worn on the right wrist are minor grievances and I don’t think detract from the overall experience. I would recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable GPS watch that doesn’t have additional yearly fees.

The Voice Caddie T9 is a multi-function smart watch with an emphasis on golf. In the package you will find the T9 watch, a charging dock, another strap and a user manual. The watch was fully charged out of the box. I also downloaded the Voice Caddie app for my Android phone. I have used the watch for a total of 3 round now. Honestly, I struggled my first round using the watch. I was confused as the heat map for the green was not working on the course I was on. So I did not get much help on the green. As far as distance was concerned, the results were very close to my Garmin. I was with a group and did not want to slow them down during the round. I found the display size fine for me and I typically use “cheaters” to read. I went home and reviewed the online user manual. It is easier for me to read the manual online vs a small book that came in the box. I went through all of the set up steps carefully. You want to: - Set the date and time. - Set your user info. - Set your distance measurement. I set the distance to adjust the distance for slope. - Set your driver distance. - Set your V.AI. - There are some other settings as well. So on to my next two rounds. I am truly prepared now. When you arrive to the course, you will want to start the watch and select Golf Mode. The watch takes a fair amount of time to find the course. It takes longer than my Garmin does. Every hole starts with a fly by view. I found this interesting and informative. As you play the hole, you can select between the Course View, Green View, Put View and Yardage View. The second course I played illustrated the green heat map and slope direction. The first course I played did not. So I imagine not all courses are supported for this feature. The distance to the hole will default to the center of the green. Once you are on, or close, to the green, you will want to go to the flag and mark the flag location by touching the pin icon using the Put View. You also mark the ball location using the ball icon on the Putt View. I found it a little difficult to select the pin and flag icons. The Putt View will now show the distance to the hole, the heat map of the green, the green slope direction, and the measurement of the ball above or below the hole. Using this feature helped my putting for the two rounds I tried it on. I imagine it will only get better. There is a tempo mode you can use to help with you working on a consistent swing. I have not spent a lot of time on this so far. After each shot the tempo is displayed which is nice! The app is very useful as well. I included some pictures of golf round summaries. The watch connects via Bluetooth. The app works well. I included some pictures for you. In summary I rate this Voice Caddie T9 4.5 stars. As you cannot do this, you will see the rating as 5 stars. I deducted a half star as selecting the pin and flag icon is not as easy as it could be. I look forward to more rounds and improving my putting game. I recommend this product.

I've had my T9 for about a week and I have never had a VoiceCaddie watch and I was waiting for a while. I went ahead a took the leap because I want to perfect my pitching and putting. From the moment it arrived it was clear this wasn't a smart watch for everyone nor does it pretend to be. It comes in this nice sleek box with your charging dock with a cable, the watch, and you user manual. It came fully charged and ready to go so I popped it on. It is very comfortable and light, the watch band is something I wish other watch makers would do. It's so light it feels like I don't have it on my wrist, sweat was not an issue and I live in Texas so I don't like rubber or cloth wrist bands that are sticky. The ring or beveled edge are a nice touch since the case and band are black. I like the touch of silver which gives it a luxe feel. Setting up the watch and syncing it with my phone was easy to accomplish. The VoiceCaddie app in your application store guides you through the process. My favorite part is you open the app, go to the courses and it geo-locates the nearest courses to me. I've got more than a few within a 20 mile radius and can't wait to give it a go this summer at some. Customizing the watch face did have a few glitches and I tried to restart the app but it would not transfer the face I wanted. I do like that there are options because I do like to change it up a bit. The app measures in yards and miles which is fairly standard and will allow you to update the green if you feel like it's not as exact as you feel. Still working on this. Let's talk tracking and the data you can track... You can get as detailed as you'd like. I'm trying to minimize my putts per round so it is quite helpful. My tempo and cadence is becoming more consistent and I'm starting to annoy my other half in the back yard. Overall, the application on the smart phone is beautiful and easy to use but the watch face does have a dull face in comparison. When I was out in the middle of the day walking the course I realized that was by design. The colors on the watch face are actually made this way to help your eyes or at least that is how I felt. To change menus on the watch you simply swipe up, down, left, and right. The battery life is long lasting and I didn't have any issues even when getting text messages on my watch which was a pleasant surprise. I didn't think it would do much more than track my game and time. If you're looking to change things up, improve your swing, and look stylish doing it then get the T9!

Wearable golfing aid for any user-level

The VoiceCaddie T9 Golf GPS Watch with Green Undulation and Slope offers the user a plethora of improvability through its watch and app features and data point analysis. I am a terrible golfer in the scheme of things, but I thoroughly enjoy being out on the course. One of my drawbacks when it comes to golf is my overall golfer’s IQ. As I said, I appreciate the game but have never hired a coach to help with my swing, and I still struggle with the game's mechanics. When playing with friends, I feel like the kid brother who got to tag along sometimes because I have to ask many questions. The VoiceCaddie is slowly bridging those gaps for me. My son has recently gotten into golf as well, and during testing, we were only able to get one round in just recently due to time constraints and inclement weather. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to use the watch to improve my experience and, by proxy, being able to guide my son more intelligently in his growth. Out of the box, I will admit the watch is underwhelming compared to other smartwatches. My first thought was whether I would make this a daily driver or if this unit would be a one-off for the course and course alone. The band is rubber with a buckle, not the look I prefer. The watch body is large with approximately a 45mm dial. It is not too oversized, so I would believe that this piece would fit a man’s or a woman’s wrist nicely. After several wears, I have decided to sport it more often than just on the course. The setup is super easy, but the real fun begins when you are actually playing or practicing and can genuinely experience the precision guidance of the T9. The battery life is good, but I believe it is a bit overstated, as my experiences were less than stated. I was able to play a full round, but the watch does need nightly charging, which is no different than any of my other smartwatches. The interface is clean and is almost minimalist in usage, watch, message notifications, settings, and golf. The app will expand the golf features, but in full swing on the course, the dial is bright even in the noon Texas sun, which I cannot say for other watches I wear. I typically leave my phone in the cart, but my Bluetooth reached, and I never had a problem with connection on the course. The same is not true indoors. The device will disconnect if you put a solid wall between you and your phone. The in-game usage is also super easy to navigate. From the first drive to the last putt, the app gives the wear insightful course knowledge and provides the user the data necessary to make good play decisions. The GPS ball register, undulation, and slope visual cues played perfectly accurately for my time. One avenue this watch opens for me as an inexperienced golfer is the ability to dive freely into other courses. I was once on a business trip and had a day when I wanted to play an excellent local course. I went out and just felt lost, even driving the wrong fairway at one point. Again, this device will bridge those gaps and promote a better golf experience in my future rounds, let alone if my son wants to use it. The swing assistant is a game changer, and I feel it will help me improve my long and short game. I understand that there are plenty of golfing companions out there, but I cannot say enough good things about the VoiceCaddie T9. Whether you are new to golf, such as me, or a scratch golfer, this watch will only help you. As I look around the local golf stores, look at ads online, or watch golf-related programming, everything is geared around the fact the game is challenging, and everyone has the miracle thing that will make you better. I honestly believe that VoiceCaddie has provided, maybe not a miracle, a realistic approach to its users without a subscription-based fee to access that service. You will have more significant details of the front end of the course for drivers and irons, as well as a real-time view of your putting surfaces. It will not improve your slice but enhance your knowledge of why you are slicing. I am pleased to say that I find the VoiceCaddie T9 to be an excellent product and would highly recommend it to others.

I have golfed for a long time. At one point in time at my peak hay day I had a handicap of a 10. That was years ago so I have lost some distance in my long game but my putting and short game is much better as I have become more of a tactician instead of trying to hit the green on a par 5 with my driver. Anyway that's just a bit of my game prior to reviewing this T9 Voice Caddie watch. Setup was super simple. Took a few minutes and it linked to my android phone. The T9 required a firmware update. It was a little finicky because I had to reboot my phone a few times and reconnect the watch a few times but it eventually updated. Note. For right handed golfers you need to wear the watch on your left hand. Because I wear another tracking watch I tried to wear this T9 in my right hand but it would not correctly pickup my swing. I switch watches on hands and it recognized it afterwards. I am right hand swinger so I would assume that if you are a lefty then it would work opposite. Testing at the range and on the putting green was really neat. It did a good job with tempo analysis backswing timing and downswing analysis along with impact of the ball. Which means it has sensors for acceleration and impact to sense these movements. Switching to course use. GPS recognized the tee box and yardage pretty well. Also lay of the land. It showed hazards and how far away you were with those hazards. Green analysis was good too. You can move the pin around and it will analyze slope and all and you can place your ball where you are relative to the green and the pin etc. Score card use was easy to use as well. Overall great features for a golf watch. Really impressed. Interface with swiping and pushing and navigating the touch screen was easy. Despite the large face of you have issues with reading small print you will need reading glasses to use this watch. So be warned. Only picky thing I have against the watch and interface with Android Pixel is that the watch takes over my at a glance and kills my other weather and time and date feature. And the watch displays 4% battery on the at a glance when. This is incorrect as it is full. Developer for the software might want to update the APK and fix this at the time of my review. I had to force stop the app and it cleared the issue. Other than that. If you want an edge on your game and know how to use this this would definitely help your overall game. If you are all over the place with your game this may or may not help you. You read have to know how to play golf and use this as a tool for your game improvement.

I recently received the VoiceCaddie T9 GPS Watch, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance on the golf course. This watch is a game-changer, providing precise yardages and advanced functionalities that have significantly elevated my gameplay. It's no surprise that I'm giving it a well-deserved five-star rating. The vibrant color touchscreen makes navigation intuitive and seamless, allowing me to quickly access the information I need during my rounds. The Active Green Data feature enhances accuracy, while the V-Algorithm provides slope calculations, giving me a deeper understanding of the course layout. One of the standout features is the Green Undulation display, which shows the high and low points on the green via a heat map. This has been invaluable in helping me read greens more effectively and make better putting decisions. I also appreciate the Swing Tempo Mode, which serves as an excellent practice tool to help me dial in my swing tempo for more consistent ball-striking. Additionally, the Shot/Putt Tracking feature automatically keeps track of my scores, making post-round analysis a breeze. The watch's compatibility with both Android and iOS devices ensures that all golfers can benefit from its features. Plus, the reflective LCD screen is optimized for outdoor use, providing clear visibility even in strong sunlight. Furthermore, the Voice Caddie App complements the watch perfectly, offering round statistics, scorecards, and tracking capabilities, making it an indispensable tool for any golfer. Overall, the VoiceCaddie T9 GPS Watch has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It's a must-have for any golfer looking to improve their game and navigate the course with confidence. Highly recommended!

I've never had a golf watch before so this was something completely new for me. I get out maybe 3-5 times a month whether it be a quick 9 or full 18. Like most people, I just eye ball distances and use yardage markers so having something like this wasn't really something I'd ever thought I'd want/need. However, after a range/round trip, there is something pretty cool about having your personal yardage "caddy" with you when out playing. In terms of fit/finish, it's a very no frills look to it. Looks like any other basic watch you'd see so nothing really special about it as far as aesthetics go. The band is pretty basic as well....almost too basic. You do get a short/long strap (the ones with the holes in them) with this watch. I'm not really a huge fan of the band itself so I'll probably see if I can cobble one together somewhere else. It uses the standard bar pin so shouldn't be too much of a hassle. As far as usage. There is some learning curve with this so probably need to run through the user manual first just to see what everything is, how it works, etc. Since I'm a newbie to golf GPS watches, maybe that's why but there's oodles of settings/features in the watch. The watch itself pairs with your smartphone and there is a companion app along with this watch you need to download. After getting all that setup, taking it to the range/course is the next step. At the range, this watch allows you to track your shots, driver/iron/wedge, however you need to select these manually. There is a scorecard feature in this app/watch which is quite handy. As far as yardages go, this is pretty accurate. Took this to the local course by me and seems the yardages provided are pretty good. Within the phone app you can download your favorite courses for future use as well as get your dashboard of shots, rounds played, scorecard, etc. Overall, pretty impressed with this so far. Haven't really had a chance to put it through multiple rounds but, so far, seems like a good choice as well as something useful to have.

The VoiceCaddie-T9 GPS Watch with Green Undulation and Slope integration promises golfers an advanced tool to enhance their game. As a tech enthusiast and avid golfer, I put this device to the test to see if it lives up to the hype. First off, the standout feature of the VoiceCaddie-T9 is its Green Undulation and Slope technology. This innovative addition provides golfers with detailed insights into the terrain, allowing for more precise club selection and shot planning. The accuracy of the undulation readings is commendable, offering valuable information to improve one's game strategy. The GPS functionality is another strong point of the VoiceCaddie-T9. It quickly and accurately identifies the player's location on the course, providing accurate distance measurements to hazards, greens, and other key points of interest. This feature greatly aids in course management and shot selection, helping golfers make more informed decisions on the course. The sleek design of the watch is also worth mentioning. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear, with a clear and easy-to-read display that is visible even in bright sunlight. The intuitive interface makes navigating through the various features a breeze, allowing golfers to focus on their game rather than fumbling with complicated controls. However, the VoiceCaddie-T9 is not without its flaws. One notable drawback is the battery life. While it claims to have a long-lasting battery, I found that it often required frequent recharging, especially with continuous use of the GPS and Green Undulation features. This can be a major inconvenience during long rounds or multiple rounds in a day. Another issue is the accuracy of the slope readings. While the undulation measurements were generally reliable, the slope calculations occasionally seemed inconsistent, leading to some questionable distance estimations. This could potentially affect the golfer's decision-making process and overall confidence in the device. In terms of price, the VoiceCaddie-T9 falls into the mid-range category for GPS watches with similar features. While it offers some advanced capabilities, the reliability of certain functions may not justify the higher cost compared to more budget-friendly options on the market. Overall, I would rate the VoiceCaddie-T9 GPS Watch with Green Undulation and Slope a solid 3.5 stars out of 5. It has some impressive features that can undoubtedly benefit golfers looking to elevate their game, but it's held back by issues such as battery life and occasional accuracy issues with slope readings. With some improvements in these areas, it could easily earn a higher rating in the future.

Got this sweet little watch a couple weeks ago and I've been really enjoying getting to know it and its features. This VoiceCaddie T9 GPS Watch is really slick and a neat addition to my game. It's a stylish and handy tool for golfers looking to improve their game with precision distance measurements and other intuitive features. I really love the lightweight and wearable aspect of this watch. It's not another clunky range finder or GPS unit that you need to carry around in order to use and a BIG part of golf is around and on the green where a typical range finder won't help you, but this will! When you're on the green it automatically displays the Smart Putt view which will show distance to the pin as well as green undulation. Here's a breakdown of its key aspects: 1. Design and Build: This T9 GPS Watch boasts a compact and lightweight design, making it comfortable to wear throughout my round. It has a lovely clear display to ensure easy readability even in bright sunlight, while the durable build ensures it can withstand the rigors of the golf course. 2. GPS Accuracy: Accurate distance measurements are crucial in golf, and the T9 delivers on this front. Utilizing GPS technology, it provides precise yardages to the front, back, and center of the green, as well as hazards, helping golfers make informed club selections. 3. Voice Guidance: One of the standout features of the T9 is its voice guidance capability. Instead of constantly glancing at your wrist, you can simply listen to the device as it provides distance information, allowing for a more seamless and hands-free experience on the course. 4. Course Coverage: The T9 comes preloaded with thousands of golf courses worldwide, ensuring that you'll have access to accurate yardages no matter where you play. Additionally, it offers automatic course recognition and hole advancement, further streamlining your experience. 5. Battery Life: Obviously a long battery life is essential for a golf GPS watch, and the T9 delivers with impressive endurance, allowing me to play and complete multiple rounds on a single charge. This ensures that it won't let you down, even during extended days on the course. 6. Additional Features: In addition to its core functionality, the T9 offers extras like shot distance measurement, digital scorekeeping, and a pedometer for tracking steps taken during your round. 7. User Interface: This watch features an intuitive user interface, making it easy to navigate through its various functions and settings. This simplicity enhances the overall user experience, allowing golfers to focus on their game rather than grappling with complicated technology. Overall, the VoiceCaddie T9 GPS Watch is a reliable companion for mid-level to advanced golfers seeking accurate yardages and convenient features on the course. Its combination of precision, ease of use, and long-lasting battery life make it a worthy investment for any player looking to up their game.

The T9 Voice Caddy for golfers is a fantastic device. It straps on like a watch with a very comfortable rubber writst-band that is soft but stays put on every swing. I am a bogey level golfer and I found this golf aid invaluable especially since I don’t have the kind of distance perception of most people and I do wear glasses. Here are some key advantages of this device: the screen is readable even in bright sunshine. It is a color touch screen and has a very accurate GPS built in. One course I play actually has a small GPS capable screen in the golf cart which displays the hole and distance from the green when you stop the cart. Although it can’t do what the T9 Voice caddy can do, at least you get the distance and a fly over of the hole. However, I have not seen any other course which has this. Now with the T9 I get this ability to know the distance (and more) on all the other courses. Yes, the T9 can find them when you first tee off using its GPS to actually determine the course you are playing. I took my T9 to the course with the golf cart GPS, and took advantage of the chance to compare the yardages of the cart’s screen with the T9. Be aware that whenever you get to a golf course and go to the 1st tee, the T9 will connect to satellites and actually find the golf courses which took about 60 seconds when I began play. I noticed the display of the hole and the yardage was exactly how each hole was laid out showing not just the fairway, but the green, ponds and sand traps. The T9 also did the flyover as you started the hole. The yardage on each shot to the green compared within a couple yards of the golf carts GPS device. So I knew the T9 was accurate. Now the T9 also allowed me many other features not on the golf cart. When I reached the green, I could use the T9 to mark the flag and mark my ball… then the T9 would show me the length of the putt – wow. You should wait a few seconds for the T9 to get its most accurate putt distance. Also the T9 uses a color coding to actually display the green to show the contours and slope. There is also the ability to zoom in and out on this great device. The T9 also keeps score for you including how many putts. Another extremely useful feature is swing tempo which was very helpful to me as a bogey golfer. I was able to see that my tempo varied too much from swing to swing so I am trying to use the T9 to make my swing tempo more consistent. I did feel by the seventh hole that I had improved a little and was hitting the ball more consistently as well. Yeah T9, thank you my little wonder, and tip of my cap to the designers. It's easy to use this device. There are advanced modes to get more out of the features as well. I certainly feel this is a solid built and very high technology device. The GUI interface is well thought out and intuitive. By the way the T9 also has a watch built in and you can choose from several different watch faces. I would recommend it very highly.

Best golf gps watch I've ever used

The last time I used a golf gps device it wasn't the best experience so I went got one that was super simple. Front, center and back with some other information. It wasn't a watch so I found myself having to carry and pocket the device when I frequently hit my balls in the sticks (lol). But many times I would put the device in my pocket, buttons would accidentally be pushed. Also, I have left the device in the cart a few times and had to go back to retrieve it. Luckily, golfers are pretty honest people. With a watch gps, I wouldn't really have to worry about all those problems again. The T9 is so feature rich, it might even be too much. But I guess that's a good thing. Better to have more than you need than to not have what you want. Out of the box, you get the watch and a charging cable with a little pamphlet. The charging cable is magnetic and attaches to the back of the watch. Simple design, I liked that. Powering the watch on is done by the pushing the crown on the watch and then swiping to the settings option and pairing the watch to your phone. The T9 has a fitness mode which tracks your steps, distance and calorie count which I didn't know it did and was a really nice surprise. The features that made this watch worth every penny to me and also made me a believer in golf watch gps again is 1) Tempo mode. This was a feature that I thought was gimmicky but turned out to be so amazing. At the practice range, messing with it, I realized my tempo on the swing was so off. Practicing to keep an even tempo made me realize what a difference in shot shape and distance that made. 2) Screen was clear even in direct sunlight and the ability to enlarge certain parts made it easier on my old eyes. Color display help distinguish certain function features as well. 3) Green undulation, slope readings. This probably helped me on a couple of holes. I'm not good enough to have a huge effect on my game with this feature, but I can totally see if you are a bogey golfer or better that his will save you strokes. 4) So many different views of the hole you're playing and the green itself. I can't even begin to tell you all the things the t9 can let you know about a hole. So much information. But for me, the one I really liked, was the hole overview. It's a flyover and I can see myself using this at every new golf course I play. I have several different golfing partners with different gps watches. All have been so impressed with the VoiceCaddie T9. I haven't played enough rounds to go over all the features available, but the ones I have used has been outstanding. And the most important thing is I found the accuracy very reliable. The only complaint I have, and this is really minor, is it took a bit longer to grab a signal. So now, I just turn it on a little earlier before the round starts.

So if you are an avid golfer, I must say from the very beginning of this review - you want this T9 GPS enabled golf watch from VoiceCaddie. Let me tell you why I think so. First let me tell you about some of the basic features and move on to the advanced features. When I first got to the golf course I powered the T9 up and wanted to see how quickly it can connect to GPS to find the course. To power it up you will need to simply use the power button, which is on the right side of the watch. You can easily customize the home screen and choose your own face watch to your liking. Once you swipe left to go to golf mode, the watch will start to search for the course, which is very convenient. Here are a few of the features of T9 that I really like: 1. This watch gives me a nice course layout so as soon as I arrive on the Tee Box 2. The watch gave me a layout of that hole 3. it also gave me a nice flyby of the hole so I can see all the hazards and trouble that I might encounter as I play 4. Course and Green Zoom allows me to zoom in to see the additional features close up 5. The watch also gives me a Green Undulation if I have it in regular mode. As you know in tournament mode that's not legal but in regular mode I can see the undulation of the green and I can see how much it's breaking how far uphill or downhill that putt might be. 6. T9 Watch gives me front, middle and back yardage 7. T9 has slope adjustment on fairway shots. I really like its nice color touch screen, it is vivid, crisp and I had no issues using it in direct sunlight. Another feature I enjoy is the Practice Tempo mode. It allows me to see whether I am swinging a little faster or a little slower than I'd like. This amazing watch has over 36 000 courses in the database (you will need your computer to update the courses) and best part of all it is completely free and no subscription required. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone who is looking to enhance your play and it will make your golfing experience definitely an enjoyable one!

As an amateur golfer, I recently had the chance to take the Voice Caddie T9 Premium GPS Golf Watch out for a spin on a course by my house, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer for me. But before hitting the course, I was impressed by how easy the setup process was. I simply downloaded the Voice Caddie app on my iPhone, followed the step-by-step instructions to pair the watch with my phone, and I was ready to go. Once I got out onto the course, I found the touchscreen display to be incredibly easy to use. I could quickly check yardages to the green and hazards with just a tap or two, which helped me plan my shots more effectively. And when I didn't want to take my eyes off the ball, the voice feature came in handy. I could simply press a button and hear the yardage spoken aloud, which was a real lifesaver when I was in a hurry. But the real standout for me was the accuracy of the GPS. Knowing exactly how far I had to hit the ball gave me a lot more confidence in my club selection, and I definitely saw an improvement in my accuracy as a result. Plus, the battery life was impressive—I never had to worry about it dying on me mid-round. And when I got back home, I could review my round in detail using the Voice Caddie app. It provided me with insights into my performance, including stats like greens in regulation and fairways hit, which helped me identify areas for improvement and track my progress over time. Overall, using the Voice Caddie T9 on a course was a game-changer for me. It helped me shave strokes off my game, gave me a newfound confidence in my abilities, allowed me to learn more about my game, and made the entire golfing experience more enjoyable. I can't wait to see how it continues to improve my game in the future! Thank you Voice Caddie for another win!

I have multiple smart watches from various brands, and as a weekly golfer, I was excited to test out the VoiceCaddie - T9 GPS Watch. While I do have some issues with the watch, I'd strongly recommend this for anyone who takes golf seriously. As a golf focused smart watch, functionality is far more important that design...but design still matters. With that said, I do think this watch is a nice look for hitting the course on weekends (or sneaking away from work on weekdays). Once you turn it on, the screen resolution is solid. I've seen better. With that out the way...my gripe. This watch is not as intuitive as I would have liked. I may not be the brightest, but I've set up my fair share of smart watches and I'm decently knowledgeable in terms of golf. It took a couple reviews of the manual to get a decent understanding of the functionality of this watch. With that said, with the understanding of this watch I have, it's great for golf, and I imagine it'll only get better. When you get to your course, put the watch in to Golf mode and it locates your course. Course previews are solid. The green undulation and elevation data are major helpers when scoping out a course. The swing tempo practice mode makes taking off my other smart watch and wearing this one to the golf course worth it in itself. It's almost like having my own swing coach with me for every swing. The Voice Caddie - T9 is a great assistant for those who take golf seriously. Add in the app, which connects to your watch via Bluetooth, this is a must have for any avid golfer. With that said, I feel I'm still fully learning how to take advantage of this watch, and intuitiveness for smart watches is a huge thing for me. Overall, this watch may end up being a 5 out of 5 for me, but for now I'd strongly recommend it with a solid 4 our of 5.

Wow, this is of the coolest golf gadgets I have seen in a long time. In a sport full of gimmicks, it is refreshing to find a tool that is actually helpful. The tempo feature alone makes this watch worth every penny. I have had to take up golf again after years of not playing and have found the benefits of this watch at the driving range alone worth the price. The tempo tool gives both upswing and downswing. This feature alone has really allowed me to work on a smooth, steady swing. For me, that is half the battle right there. Where this watch really shines is on the course. Upload the courses into the watch and it really makes your game a lot more interactive. Full hole views with yardages to bunkers and hazards, putt view, green undulations, etc. It even tracks your shots through the round. As far as the performance of the watch, it takes a little finesse and could be tricky for the less tech-oriented people. Uploading courses is completely free which is a huge bonus for me. The watch is sleek and I wear it as a normal watch. I love this watch and will buy the next version down the road when I wear this one out.

Any golfer, whether recreational or competitive, understands that information is critical to success – well, yeah, you gotta have a decent swing and stroke too. I think all golfers have searched for opportunities to gain more information about their course, hole, position, or shot to have a better chance at a positive outcome. The VoiceCaddie T9 is a good attempt at giving golfers the additional confidence and leverage they are looking by putting this information on your wrist. When you open the box, the first thought is the watch itself is a bit underwhelming physically. It has a very basic rubber band, simple body design and construction, and golf-oriented position markers around the face. It has a very good sized watch face which feels just about right for the average user. It’s also very light, which I found to be a good thing when wearing for play. The charging mount is very well made and easy to use. It’s magnetic, as a rubber foot on the bottom, and the watch actually fits in it rather than it attaching to the charger. There are instructions and the other standard fare in box, but of course, as with most of us, I’m turning it on and picking up my phone. To use the T9, you will need the MyVoiceCaddie app installed on your phone, and you will have to connect the watch to your phone using Bluetooth. I had a bit of trouble connecting the watch to my Android device, granted, I have a little older device running a little older version of Android. I did finally get it connected, and I think the culprit was the watch was trying to execute a firmware update during the pairing process. It took a few tries to get past this issue, and I think it’s something VoiceCaddie can work out with a software release. Once I got it connected, one thing really stood out to me was the need to allow the VoiceCaddie app to run in the background at all times. That setting just screams, “Bye-bye battery!” to me. It will be interesting to see the long term effects of this. After set up, the fun begins. Find courses near you using the app. I was pleasantly surprised to find even some of the less well known municipal courses on the list – awesome! You can pull up courses and review the hole layout. I recommend entering your average drive distance before use. This will help the watch give you insight on landing areas from the tee. To start a round, you just enter golf mode on the watch. The T9 does a very good job at helping you keep track of your score, swing tempo, and course navigation – it even includes green undulation. The screen is pleasantly very clear and easy to read – even on sunny days. The touch screen responsiveness is on par with most smart watches. How accurate is it? Well, I will just say you can trust it. The T9 is very informative and works quite well with its companion app. You also get smart watch features like notifications, steps, and mileage walked. You can actually wear this everyday if you wanted, but I think it’s great for golf. For a device that had me wondering how good it will be based on my first physical impressions, the T9 is an awesome golf GPS watch. After using it, I think you will discover this watch was designed to be lightweight and easy to use. It is functionally one of the best golfing companions out there. The MyVoiceCaddie app is your source for a plethora of information, such as previous scorecards, swing tendencies, distances, etc. Add to that a practice mode and phone notifications, and the VoiceCaddie T9 is a can’t miss.

The voice caddy T9 has been a great companion on the golf course and when practicing in the back yard. Designed for the golfer in mind and only the golfer. Light weight, a screen designs for the sun, and the smarts to help your game. It is also simplistic enough that you don’t have to worry about fight with it on the course. It’s accurate, easy, and helpful! The way it should be! I have been golfing since I was in middle school. While not a pro I do get out often with friends, colleagues, and for work. Having something to help me and actually be accurate in telling me my shots and putts kind of eased my mind when I with clients or colleagues. While I still keep track it’s nice I don’t have to think twice if I’m right or wrong. Setup was easy, download the app, connect with Bluetooth and one firmware update. I was ready to go in 5 - 10 minutes. You can customize the watch face but I liked what it comes with. Only one external button which you use it to turn on and off the device. Simple…. The way it should be. The watch and band are also black which makes it go well with any type of golf gear. If people don’t know what a voice caddie is they probably would mistaken it for a typical smart watch on your wrist. The interface is simple and easy. Not much to it. It will lock on to GPS and tell you where you are or near. If you encounter a golf course that’s not in there system you can suggest it to them via the app. They are thinking ahead! Even the options with the swipe categories are so simple I love it. Nothing to fight with on the course because they know what the golfers want. Before taking the T9 out on the course, I experimented with it in the back yard with my driver and in practice mode. I was consistent at first until I started to mess around with it to see how high I could go! I learned that it will be helpful if I need to work on myself as I get through my game on the real course. While on the course I was happy with the watch. It’s accurate with keeping track of your score. While confident I still keep track that way my team mates are confident in my score. To be honest though this watch might make me lazy with keeping track of my shots and putts. I love the read out on the screen as I was in the tee boxes and fairways. Once you chip up to the green the watch knows via gps that you are there and will help you with your putt. It will show you slopes with a colored image. It will suggest how the green is laid out. It also knows that it’s time to track putts over shots. Pretty cool! Forgot to mention, you also will enter your estimated drive distance and the T9 will tell you where your shot can be delivered via the watch face. FYI the screen performed well while in the sun. Devices like this will change the golfing industry for the better. It makes things easier and fun!

I am not a very good golfer, but I spend a lot of time playing and am always looking for *anything* to help out with my game. Setting up the T9 was straightforward. Download the MyVoiceCaddie app, pair your phone, and go. The watch itself is pretty no frills; it only has a power button. The only options available from the touch screen are Bluetooth, touch lock, and smart light toggles. There’s a fitness tracker (steps and whatnot) and a few settings you can pull up. Everything has to be done with your phone until you get on the course or out to practice in Tempo Mode (which felt reliable enough, but not too useful.. maybe for a novice?). Of note, I had trouble changing the watch face. Seems like a poorly designed app in that department. The courses available on the app seem limitless. Every single course remotely close to me is listed. When you download a course, it gives you a per hole bird’s eye overview along with greens undulation. Pretty amazing that they got all of that data. As you play, the watch keeps track of just about all of the data you could think of, including your stroke/distance stats, all sortable. I found the information to be very reliable and matching my actual play. All in all, the price of this watch, in my opinion, is amazing considering the technology. Something like this would have been unthinkably expensive 20 years ago. I wish the watch faces worked properly, but a small problem compared to the overall usefulness of the product.
