We have tried many humidifiers over the years, but this Vornado 1 gallon is quiet and lasts a long time. We found that if you use distilled water it's better for the machine and requires less cleaning. Also, NO FILTERS - a real benefit to prevent bacteria from forming and being dispersed into the air.

Perfect size for my bedroom. No more cracked lips from the dry air. The water tank is not the easiest to set back into the cradle. May take me 2-3 try’s. Otherwise, happy with the product.

This humidifier is beautiful, well constructed and serves its intended purpose well in a relatively large area. I do have to refill it daily. The unit does not automatically shut off when the unit runs out of water. The caveat: the unit has a mineral cartridge recommended to be changed every thirty days - and you can get an automatic renewal shipment for the cartridges through the manufacturer. I have not attempted to work the unit without the cartridge. I do like how it works with the mineral cartridge and may just get on the contract. I did not anticipate the added cost. But if you did not know about this - as I did not until I assembled the unit - you may want to look into it and assess the added cost.

I've never had a humidifier before and did not buy into the hype about them, that is until I couldn't sleep without my throat drying to the point I can't breathe at night and the recent rash of bloody noses that I don't get ever! First night of use and I woke up with my throat feeling fine and no stuffed up or bloody nose. The unit functions perfectly and our home has a sustainable humidity level during these crazy winter months.

Despite the fan incorporated into this device, it is very quiet. Very functional and effective humidifier for a good sized room. A littlepricey.

We bought two of these. Fantastic! Quiet and best used in the bedroom - there is less light in this version so the room is not lit up while you sleep.

I bought this for my bedroom and it does a great job in helping with my sinuses. It immediately emits a fine mist which the fan on top quickly disperses up and into the room. The auto humidity level is a nice feature as the fan blows at a higher speed until desired level is reached and then it slows down. Couldn't have asked for a better humidifier.

It has a hard water filter with it which is great as well as shoots the steam straight into o the air! I hated how other humidifiers drizzled to the floor!!! This is a great purchase, no need to think twice.

Excellent Humidifier. Great value for price. Had it for a while and it still works just fine. I highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a small/compact humidifier, such as for a bedroom or certain space. It does the job very well.

It is very quite when is running. I like that has settings that allows to control humidity.

If you are willing to recharge this unit everyday with fresh distilled water, and you are are needing to humidify a good size bedroom, this unit would be a good choice.

I have a fan that helps thin out the moisture even thinner and it fills up my whole apartment just wonderful in the winter

Would recommend this for someone who is looking to remove the dry air from a single room (bedroom for example) works great.

Great product. Has three settings and a humidity sensor. Strong motor sends mist out into room

Extremely disappointed. The water holding tank cracked when picked up. I glued it... and 2 months later the bottom of the tank just fell off. Thought buying an expensive humidifier would pay off..it didn’t.

It works well in our bedroom. The humidity in the room has gotten much better since we use this.

My son uses this to maintain humidity in his room for his instruments
