Best fan I have ever purchases and I have purchases quite a few!

I purchased the Vornado 660 fan over a month ago with some hesitation seeing it was almost twice as expensive as a fan of similar size that I had also bought recently. Side by side the difference in the two fans is immediately evident. The Vornado is far quieter, much more stylish, stable & adjustable, and it moves more air. In fact, I point it upwards and the breeze bounces off the ceiling and provides a nice indirect cooling effect. I would highly recommend the Vornado and am considering buying a second one in white, instead black. Best Buy offered a good discount.

This fan is everything that it said it would be. My wife and I are very pleased with this fan and we encourage others to buy this product.

Pricey, but it does what it says it will do and circulates the air so that there is a slight breeze all around. This is helpful with the air conditioning on upper floors, and to keep the air moving in a basement. It is not all that quiet on the highest setting, but lower settings are pretty quiet. I really like that the controls are on top of the fan, not in the middle of the back like many in this size fan are, it is much more convenient to have controls on top or in the front. Well designed and has a great warranty.

Love it, it blows strong cool air. I have a velocity fan at home and the vornado air is stronger and very satisfying.

I am a drummer that plays with a full band, I use this in my practice space, which gets rather hot in the summer, and though I bought it for myself and have it largely directed at me, it still manages to cool the entire room. Also, the fan is quiet so the operation does not interfere as we play.

Currently i have the fan set up on my window sill. The base of the fan is bigger than my window so it sticks out a bit but can still sit pretty firmly. The air is very strong even on the lower settings. I usually leave it on the second lowest setting but the lowest setting is very quiet. The fan rotates very smoothly to point up at the ceiling but my room isn't big enough to test if it moves air 100' however the airflow is very good. Would buy again if i needed another fan.

Does the job it's meant to do, and does it very well! Adjustable speed, runs pretty quietly, depending on the speed you have it set to.

We use this in our bedroom - very nice to have a bit of air movement in the room while we sleep. It says it can be used in a living room (larger space), and I bet it could - so perhaps it is a little larger than we need, but we like it cooler. It does NOT OSCILLATE - I was apprehensive about this (as we had an oscillating fan that we were replacing), but the vornado says it does not need to oscillate - instead it has enough power to move all of the air in the room. I am a believer! I recommend this fan.

But it is quite expensive. It is pretty quiet on the two lowest settings but it can get pretty loud on the two higher ones. It does a really nice job of moving air around a medium sized living room with few obstructions.

I went across the room and it reaches a good distance. Moves the air around and is quite. very happy with my purchase.

This is exactly what I needed! I have a room in my home that was an garage conversion into a master bedroom. It is oddly shaped, and the window AC unit was on the other side of the room. The far side and middle of room would constantly be hot, but the side where the AC was would be cool. I watched about 5 YouTube videos about this fan, and they sold me on the dream of having a cooler room. I bought it about a week ago, and it was exactly what my room was missing! I placed it in the middle of the room to push the air towards the back, and turned of the ceiling fan, per instructions I found online. Let me tell you, the temperature in my room is at least 10 degrees cooler, and it gets almost too cold now! This was the best $100 I've spent so far in the past year!

I was looking for a fan to use while sleeping. This fan has four speeds (most vornado fans like this have 3 speeds), and the lowest speed is extremely quiet. I'm really glad I purchased this fan.

I’ve had it for awhile kept forgetting to write a review but long story short it’s a good fan feels amazing anywhere i put it keeps the entire room cool even the my dogs like laying in front of it when I have it facing my bed oh and i haven’t had any issues with it. Also bought a second one.

I've been using it for a few weeks when I go to bed/sleep. I keep it on all night for at least 8 hours on low. I have it on the floor blowing directly up on me. It's not noisy and the airflow is enough on low, I'm glad I purchased the 2 year warranty! If it stops working, I know best buy will replace it or fix it. I've checked it during the night for overheating. The motor is cool to the touch! I've purchased many floor fans, tower fans, pedestal fans, rechargeable fans... They didn't work for a month or throughout the summer. I have an HVAC system at home that I use while using my fans and ceiling fans. I DON'T LIKE BEING WARM, LET ALONE TO HOT. I'm hoping the two Vornado 660 fans are my answer! Thank you for making me happy. Lets hope it lasts all summer in HOT South Florida!

This fan is powerful and quiet! Takes up little space.

This is an outstanding fan. Aim it at the ceiling and it circulates the air in the entire room. It has a variety of speeds, is quiet at lower speeds but it does an excellent job. You will be glad you bought it.
