Honestly, I wasn't sure about buying such an expensive fan. It DOES move a lot of air and is pretty quiet for the amount of air it moves. But, I don't know if it's REALLY worth it. I'm glad I have it, but in the future, I'd probably want to buy 3-4 regular fans instead for the same price. Also, my unit gets warm even when it's off. Not sure what it's doing, since there's no standby mode and no remote control.

Love it, it blows strong cool air. I have a velocity fan at home and the vornado air is stronger and very satisfying.

This fan is powerful! My daughter’s room is a hot box. After I purchased this fan, we no longer needed the air conditioner!

I absolutely love this fan....it has a lot of air moving....love that we can set it on the dresser or table and not have a huge stand fan in the middle of the floor....we have this fan set up all the way across the room....and even with the distance.....we have a forceful breeze all night!! Buy this will confidence!

This fan is the king of the hill. Massive power. It’s a beast and yet looks good in a room.

Fan is easy to use. It moves air in high volume. Item deserves praise. It can cool a large space in short order. It is whisper quiet at lowest speed, but progressively loud at higher speeds. The racket is more than offset by the comfort provided. Worth every penny!

Wonderful design and simple button functionality. I used it during the high alert poor air quality in NY and you would have thought it was an AC unit.

Very powerful air circulator, and does a wonderful job keeping the room cold. The circulator makes a suprisingly low amount of noise, even at it's highest setting. It may be too much depending on the size of the room that it will be placed in.

Best fan I have ever purchases and I have purchases quite a few!

I was skeptical about Vornado products and their exorbitant prices but after taking the chance, I can calmy say that it is worth it. This fan is exceptionally more powerful than any other fan I have owned, and quieter on it's lower levels. In the areas that matter most, this is a 5 star product. I take a star away because the rubber stoppers on the bottom seem to come off easily but, this isn't a big deal and has no bearing on the way the fan works.

Moves a lot of air silently. It's far better than anything I've used before

This fan is very pretty. It has four speed settings with buttons on the top of the fan, and is very quiet compared with similar fans especially for the lower two speed settings. It cools down a decent-sized room, but as an air circulator, don't expect a directed fan blowing at you. This would have been better (considering its higher price) if it had a remote and timer. If you are sleeping, this would be on all night unless you wake up to turn it off.

I have had the Vornado 660 Whole Room Air Circulator Fan for over a year now. I absolutely love it. It is different than an everyday “Fan”. It doesn’t just blow the air it circulates it. I can’t explain how it works but within a few minutes I can tell a difference in the quality of the air I am breathing. It helps the air to feel less stuffy and fresher. It adjusts the room temperate to a comfortable level. The Circulator itself is adjustable and stays where I adjust it to. Like I said I cannot explain how it works but it does.

I spent a lot of time researching different types of fans and air conditioners. The Vornado especially stood out. I was looking for something that was powerful and cool me down quick in this hot summer heat. My room is in the attic and it's at least 10 degrees warmer than the downstairs portion of the house. So I decided to get the Vornado 660, the larger size, and am extremely pleased with it. It cools me down instantaneously in 90-100 degree weather. I use it as a fan because I like the cool air on me. I have yet to use it as a whole room air circulator, but have read excellent reviews regarding this. I highly recommend the Vornado 660!

compact powerful fan. Moves air efficiently in the room.

I point it up to my ceiling behind me when I am sitting behind (on a stool) me when I am at my desk. When I go to bed at night, I point my Vornado - 660 Air Circulator Fan just above me when so I can sleep in comfort. Also I have the Vornado OSCR37 Tower Fan which is a big help to keep my room cool. Not perfect due to the fact I reside at an old residential hotel and all the rooms are on the second floor, and I can see out my window the roof is part of the building of the first floor, which that draws a lot of heat. I also have another tower fan which was given to me by a lady friend of mine, the SEVILLE CLASSICS. Additionally I also have the 9" (dual) Window Fan Model : WFT9. I purchased that at Home Depot. Once the SEVILLE CLASSICS Fan goes out, I will purchase the Vornado OSCR Tower Fan. Vornado Fans are the best. Thank you Best Buy for having these fans in stock!

This fan is the truth… I’ve bought this fan for a store I used to work in, my mom, my aunt and now a good friend of mine. I love this thing. It definitely PUMPS!

This fan is really great. Covers the entire room.

Usually don't have to turn this up beyond lowest setting which is almost totally silent. Next setting higher is like air conditioning. The amount of cool air this circulates defies logic.
