this fan moves a lot of air. i purchased both this and a smaller model. i ended up going back to get a second one of these. it moves a load of air without a lot of noise. would purchase again.

I'll be honest, I was EXTREMELY skeptic that this very expensive fan would work, and I didn't clear up any the first night I used it. HOWEVER, I am now a firm believer in the vornado! Might take some time to find the best spot to place and aim it (for me it was in one corner of the room aimed diagonally towards my door.) With the door open, it pushes air into the hall way sucking cool air into my room the the AC vent, with it closed, it circulates the already cool air in my room gloriously. With all the hot air blowing electronics in my room along with 2 fans, it was at least 5 degrees hotter than any other room in the house. Now? Coolest room in the whole house and I have just the vornado! I highly recommend this "fan" to anyone. Remember though, this isn't a "point in your face" fan, this is an air circulator (although I do have it towards me at night).

Best fan I've ever used! I use it to blow cold air across ~40' room into a warm room, 250 sqft, full of windows. It cools the room pretty well even at that distance. This was the 2nd I've bought of this model this year.

This fan can cool a room in minutes, it is sturdy, not noisy at all ( comparing noise to air ratio), and it definitely keeps the air bouces off walls. I place it next to the window and it definitely circulates the air beautifully. It is not an air conditioner, but the job it was manufactured to do, it does beautifully.

These fans are almost as good as a/c when you need a great fan. Vornado really moves air!! I have two in my apartment bedroom where I have no air conditioning unit. They are whisper quiet and keep me cool. Great product!!!

This fan really works well in my bedroom where I don’t have a ceiling fan. The white noise of the fan and the air movement around the room keeps me cool

Like the different speeds and the air flow is very good.

I'm using this fan in my bedroom, and it works pretty well. It circulates my entire room. I really like the different speed settings. It's a little pricy though.

Not necessarily a fan, but a circulator, which goes far in cooling a medium to large sized room. Solid build and nice power, Vornado beats Dyson (I have both) any day of the week at a fraction of the cost.

This may be expensive for a smaller fan but MAN IS IT POWERFUL. I love this thing! Every member of my family saw mine and tried it out and ended up buying one. This this is awesome!

A powerful fan that is very quiet ended up using it in our bedroom as it was quieter than our other tower fan.

This air circulator is amazing! Multiple speeds and the stronger the speed the louder it gets. It cools off the basement wonderfully.

The fan provides a great deal of circulation for small rooms. The fan is really quiet unless you out it on its highest setting.

Since I purchased my first Vornado I bought 2 more. The best fan ever!!!! It is not like any other fan that I have owned because of the way it moves the air.......like a tornado/Vornado. The first fan I put in my office which has an air-conditioning unit. Rather than turning the AC down so I would feel cooler I have run this fan in my office and turned up the AC. Just got my revised monthly average power bill and they have reduced my monthly bill by $25 per month. I credit the Vornado for my power savings.

Delivers plenty of air and does so in a surprisingly quiet manner

This beautiful thing does exactly what it was created to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Very non-offensive noise level but a great one if you like to fall asleep to mild white noise. Thank you for blowing cool air in my general direction.

This thing is amazing. Helps cool a room when leaving your A/C set higher. Quiet. Super comfortable

Moves a lot of air and is pretty quiet when needed. I'd definitely recommend to keep cool on hotter days.
