Compact, quiet, works great to create air circulation.

Excellent product, very quiet, just wish the highest setting was a bit more powerful.

This device is the best air circulator I have used. It is powerful, of course, and can move a lot of air around even in a big room if set to its maximum speed. But the flip side of this is that it is very quiet at its minimum speed, and is still reasonably effective. Consider it both for big rooms and small ones. I also own a Vornado 630, and it is distinctly inferior; it is noisier at low levels and less effective at high levels. Of course, it's cheaper too, but you definitely get benefits for the extra cash.

I previously had 2 other different fans in the room that I needed to use because 1 was not enough - when I brought this one, I no longer need to use the other two, I only need to use this fan in the room. Thinking about buying another one.

Wind is smooth and not much noise form fan Design is not bad

Used to move cool air from the living room to the bedroom and it works perfectly. Wish it had a remote but not too big a deal. Feels very well made. Its heavier than expected which is nice as it stays in place even when bumped by my dogs.

First time getting a Vornado fan, I'm happy with the purchase. Cools down my room at speed 1 or 2. I've tried speed 3 and 4 it gets a bit louder, but it's not a horrible noise. The air circulation in my room isn't as stuffy anymore thanks to the fan.

I brought two of these fans and they are truly room filling. What do I mean by room filling? When you place this fan in a room and turn it on it really bounce air off the walls all around you. And it's not a isolating fan it sits in one place and still does the job as a isolating fan.

This is a great fan. Really cools the room. Got this to cool my office. Worked great during the heat wave in August.

Very easy and efficient, great air circulation and very quit. Various air speeds are easy to adjust.

I like this fan and I'm very happy with it. My only criticism is the price is pretty expensive. At this price range I'm expecting this fan to last over 10 years I hope. It does come with a 5 year warranty which is very good. I will say a sure buy at $79 or less.

I didn't want a fan to blow air, I wanted to circulate air in my room that is vaulted. This fits the bill! The room has no hot spots and without lowering the temperature, I actually need a throw when I hang out on the couch on occasion. I imagine this will circulate the heat in winter too. Highly recommend!

The fan is very good at creating either a strong wind or a light breeze. There are four speed settings with only the highest setting creating a lot of noise. The 2nd highest is audible, but not very disruptive. The fan also works best if you place it facing a wall on the opposite end of the room rather than directly on you.

I have tried many different fans over the years and I've always gone back too Vornado fans. These(and this model) seems too move the air at greater distances than any other fans. Plus, I like how Quiet they are. I would recommend this fan to others. The reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is; I wish you could point the fan down more towards the floor.

Very nice qiet fan blows alot of air without loud noise

I spent a lot of hours researching for the best fan until I decided to give this one a shot and I’m glad I did. During the summer, I set this fan up to circulate air rather than pointing it at myself and it worked wonders. My room was always about 5 degrees colder than all the others in my house and there was no loud annoying fan noise! Definitely will buy one again!

Quite and moves alot of air, good to circulate air in large room

Need a solution to spread the cool A/C air around my apartment and this is it ! Been using the Vornado brand for awhile and its always a great choice !

Best room fan ever. Seriously, it is so much better than the average fan. Expensive for a fan, but worth it. The five speeds provide great flexibility and the three lower settings are much quieter than most other fans. Wirecutter rates it the best, and they're right.

This is my second time purchasing this brand. My first one is on a stand, while this one stilts on the floor. It work as intended - no complaints. It is a bit on the pricey side for what it is. Rounded up to 3.5.
