The heat came out in one direction (no rotation which I was aware of) but for the price a less expensive one I purchased at the same time worked better.

Reliable but doesn't shut off when targeted temp is reached. Fan still blows and heat goes on or off based on thermostat. May depend on model? Some models also varied with the auto-off tilt feature. Great choice and rated tops on a consumer group.
