Although it doesn't oscillate, it does create air flow and it isn't as stuffy in the house as it was. It has four different settings which is nice.

Now is even louder, no way to clean inside.

Good fan for daytime use!

There is no specific off button, you have to push the power button until you cycle through every level. There is a double beep when you turn it on and a beep for each level. Not conducive for bedside use.
