However, I had to take it back due to the rattling noise it made while in the vertical position. Sorry Vornado, this was a miss and certainly not acceptable behavior for a $40 personal fan.

At the higest setting its not strong enough for its size. You would think this has enough air to flow with its size, but its not. Its low, gets the job done if you are in front of it. But thats it.

Bad Fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this fan to cool my room so the air conditioning did not have to be on all night. The fan states it can be set in two positions, the fan had other ideas. If you laid the fan horizontal the motor made a horrible noise. Guess that should have been my first indicator the fan was not going to last. Then exactly 30 days from the date of purchase the fan was having issues turning on. The motor would start slowing and gain momentum, like we were on an airplane. Shortly thereafter the fan stopped working in the middle of the night to never function again. If you want a fan to work for more than 40 days, do not purchase this fan.
