Keeping it on when my office is super quite helps. has two speed settings. looks sharp when off and stowed away facing downward. also oscillates.

Got it set up and found myself wishing I hadn't bought this. For me, it's best when there is no motion and youarent hot trying to cool down with this, or even trying to stay cool. I had to hold it next to my head to get enough air to start cooling me down. It's in my room now for the noise and the little bit of air circulation it does do. I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a bigger one or buy a different type of fan.

This little fan drowns out the background noise that can definitely be heard in hotels, but I also keep it on the nightstand right next to me. It also kicks out a good amount of air for when you are in a warm hotel room. If packs away well in my carry-on suitcase.
