I had bought this fan to help flow the air. It will not make your room cool, no fan will do that. That is what AC is for. So when you see reviews where people bash a fan because it didn't cool down their room, well those people have to high of expectations. A fan will merely move the air around your ac will cool your room. With that out of the way, this fan is quiet and powerful, you will hear more fan noise in the higher levels sure, but it's all relative what one person finds loud another may not. For me I could sleep fine at night with the fan in level 1 or 2. I probably could sleep with it on level 3nad well, I just never tried since I didn't need that much air flow. My only knock on this fan is the build quality. Overall it's pretty good but it started making a faint clicking noise when oscillating. It wasn't very loud but it was annoying and that was after a week. I exchanged it for another and the 2nd fan ended up making a loud squealing noise on level 1 and 2 so I exchanged it again and the 3rd arrived broken in pieces out of the box. I think the 3rd one though was somebody's broken return. I think best buy made a mistake in sending they one and not a new one so I returned that and never got another. I might try it again next summer but we'll see. Other than the build quality and QC issues this fan is great but given all the issues it's probably too expensive. A $50 or $60 price would be more appropriate for this fan.

I love that this fan is quiet, even when it’s on its highest setting. I can absolutely appreciate being able to set the fan speed AND a timer (3 hour increments). It has a remote, but I don’t use it.

Does circulate air as advertised although I do wish it was more powerful. I was very impressed with the quietness of the tower but it left me with much disappointment as the max level isn’t as powerful as I’d thought.

I’ve bought many fans over the years and have finally found the best one. When I first plugged it In I thought it was so quiet it won’t work wow was I wrong. It is very powerful and can cool a room down fast. I’m very satisfied with it and will always buy this brand again.

Super easy to use and set up with a suprisingly powerful fan when set to max. During these summer months, it’s been a lifesaver.

Works great. Very quiet. Moves a lot of air. The remote is a little fussy as far as range an needed angle are concerned, but not a deal breaker. I'd buy again.

We added this fan to our bedroom to reduce the amount of air conditioning needed to sleep comfortably at night. This turned out to be a good choice. It offers several different power levels, but we use the Whisper setting the most since it delivers good air flow quietly

Finally found a tower fan that makes considerably less noise than our prevous fans, *and* keeps us & the room cool at night — better sleep overall. Not a fan of “touch” buttons on the unit - those have worn out much faster in recent past on older standard fans - and other devices - than “clicky”, tactile buttons. Time will gell, as always, however we like thisnone so much, may buy another as a gift.

Purchase for our upstairs bedroom (sons Room) gets warm even though we have AC. Its works well keeping room cool and circulating the air, helps to move the AC air around better. Remember its not AC its a fan. Easy to install.

LOVE my Vornado Oscillating Tower Fan!!! I already owned other Vorando fans and they truly are the best. I actually compared the air coming out of a regular box and other tower fan and the Vornado fans do blow out COOLER AIR. Between Vornado Tower and. 660 large room fan these are the best on the market.

Love this fan! It is quiet and works so well, it almost feels like air conditioning!! It came as promised, was very well packaged and is a very sleek design. We are well pleased with this purchase.

This is a great fan. It is powerful and easy to set up. It doesn't make a lot of noise. You are definitely getting your money's worth and the remote control is a great addition.

Surprised at the amount of air flow and whisper quiet with added bonus of remote and oscillating movement for more coverage.

Purchase this van from Best Buy last month and my wife and I are very happy with. It has four level settings for the fan and has quiet operation. The only downfall of this fan is the remote is very small but otherwise a great fan!
