It works pretty good and I do like the features, (shut off/sleep timer, remote, temp settings) however the older square, standard vornados heat a room better and faster in my opinion. Still good and still works but my other Vornados are a bit more efficient.

Our hvac broke after that snow storm in Febuary and it was still a lil chilly so picked this up to warm up my room and it went warm really fast. Happy with this purchase.

Like the product, as it shows on top all the helpful information, such as, actual room temp and the scheduled set temp reading and speed. Can be controlled by a remote, easy to use.

Strong little heater. Perfect a big bedroom with the door closed. Cuts on and off just like your furnace. This was an excellent purchase for me.

Great little heater with a safety sensor. If it tips over by any chance, it'll turn off. It comes with a remote too.

We have several different Vornados from different years. I havent had it long but this one heats a pretty big room in very little time.

A small heater with a big impact. The Vornado method of directing airflow makes sure the heat is directed where you want it.

I'm seriously impressed with the Vornado Velocity 5R. It heats up my large bedroom quickly and the heat circulates way better than any other space heater I've tried. I love that it's cool to the touch, the remote is handy, and the nighttime mode is great. If you need serious supplemental heat, this is the one!

Starting to get cold, so I got a nice little space heater and boy did this thing impress me. Really dig the display and the overall look of this thing. Plus it really warms up the room. Highly recommend it.

I bought one of these heaters for my laundry room. I feed my cat in there so I wanted something they couldn't knock over easily. I love it and it works well. Better than the tower heater I had there before. I bought a 2nd one. It works good but the fan is noisy where the 1st one is quiet.
