It is not an instant “blast furnace,” but the fan will circulate heated air a good distance. I try to keep the Vornado about 12” above the floor so it draws in cooler air and heated air can rise upward.

Based upon the specs, I thought this unit would do the trick. Unfortunately this unit also fell short. I just don’t get it. The Vortex heaters are so quiet and hardly force out any heat even on the high setting. This unit took over an hour to raise the temp 3 degrees F in my room. There are much more effective options available on the market. I returned it to Best Buy for a refund.
