I like the sturdy metal construction of this heater and good amount of steady heat. The fan should have more speed settings which is the only con. This heater still does the job on providing heat.

To be honest with you to be honest I took this back and got my money back I've used this brand before and love them and the price is right for him but I got to reading it when I got at home and it was going to put out way too much heat for the area I was going to use so I took it back and was going to get a smaller unit but I haven't purchased one yet but I can promise you for the $100 this cost it will do the job and it lasts a long time good product very good product!

Having had a furnace fail and needing to wait 2 cold days for a part, I broke down and bought 2 of these (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). The print on the box is totally correct. Despite having metal cabinets one could touch a unit without being burned. I was impressed by how much instant heat could be produced for it's diminutive size.

This heater does what it's supposed to do. I have a couple other Vornado products, and they always perform well. Its not gonna heat your home, but it will heat a small to medium sized room. If I need another. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

This heater is a total beast! Feels like it is built to last and doesn’t make a peep while it works. Plus, it actually heats up the room like it says it will. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable and efficient heating solution for the winter.

I had two of these space heaters, On the first unit I received, the fan which distributes hot air had not been installed. I returned it at my local Best Buy and received a replacement unit. Immediately after plugging in the replacement, I noticed the space heater emitting a strong smell of plastic or rubber. Thinking the smell could be due to residue machine oil or microfragments of plastic or rubber coating the unit, I carefully cleaned the heater and continued using it with the hope that the smell would disappear with use but the smell remains when the heater is in use, with the same intensity as when it was first plugged in. Moving the space heater into different rooms and plugging it in to different sockets has not lessened the emitted plastic/rubber smell. I fear this is a design issue and a replacement heater would not solve the issue.

This is a great little heater. We have radiant in-floor heating. It’s slow to respond, so we use this heater to just warm a room up a bit if it’s chilly rather than turning up the thermostat for the whole house. It is quiet, efficient, cool to the touch, so safe around kids. We like it very much.

Great heater. I am using it to help keep me warm in the garage.I cant recommend it enough. It is pretty quiet and the only spot that gets hot is the grilled part of it. I dont have to worry about accidentally melting something I sit too close to it.

When I opened this heater out of the box I could hear something clanging inside of it. I am not sure if that is normal, such as heating elements such as coiled springs or if somewhere during the shipping process someone dropped it and something broke inside. The heater seems very rudimentarily put together and has a cheap feel to it, but the worst part is that it barely put out any noticeable heat. You could hear a small fan running inside it but if you put your hand in front of it you could barely feel any heat coming out. This was very disappointing for a Vornado brand as they typically have a good reputation for their fans. I returned it back to Best Buy the next day and purchased the Lasko bladeless heater instead (which cost a little more but it worked fine). Kudos to Best Buy for making returns very easy. The only reason I am rating with 2 stars instead of 1 is to allow for the possibility that this item was damaged and that my experience may have been different if it worked properly.
