I now have power door locks, couldn't be happier. Only one small complaint, its super loud when it unlocks and locks. I was at an intersection and saw a suspicious person, I was too nervous to lock my car doors because of how loud it is, it would definitely draw that person's attention, so i kept my hand on my key fob ready to lock is necessary. Ended up locking it once the light turned green. Although hearing the sound of my doors lock as I walk away from my car is a sense of security for me, the loud sound reassures me that my doors are locked.

I've had these motors and alarm in my truck for about a month now and so far they're working great! They lock when the truck is started and unlock when the ignition is turned off. They also lock and unlock when the alarm is armed and disarmed. Beats the hell out of having to walk around and unlock the door every time I have a passenger.

These worked really well. The car they were installed on was a Chevy Impala. There was minor modification but they installed easily and worked really well. For the price I don’t think you could go wrong.

Works awesome. Used it to replace the door lock on my passengers side since it went out and it fits better than the previous actuator.

I purchase 4 of these in hopes of installing on my F350 in which has manual locks. Unfortunately, the technician at the location in which is closer to me doesn't install them. The door lock motors and mechanism seem well built. I wish I could have had them installed with my alarm I purchased.

I was able to get my Grandpa's old pickup for a reasonable price and added these locks to it. They work well and allow me to have the keyless feature work on my alarm now. My locks are pretty heavy, and I think this will do up to around 10 pounds of pull. More than I needed and then some. Works well paired with a Viper alarm.

Very happy with this purchase. They changed my manual door locks to power door locks. Installation was done perfect.

Having an older Honda with manual door locks, I had the BEST BUY installation guys install this along with a VIPER One Way Security System and Keyless Entry - so now I can remotely lock/unlock doors like a normal person. So worth the money.

Before I had my Viper alarm installed on my van, I got one of these installed at the same time so that all my doors would be secure. It helps to have my van as secure as possible, so if you need one, get it and install it in your vehicle.

Awesome product by directed. Works just as good if not better that factory actuators. Combined with a remote starter for my older vehicle and worked like a charm.

So when i originally bought my car it didn't come power locks. But after speaking with the tech installer and becoming a total tech member. The power locks were install and have worked perfectly ever since.

Great for adding power to manual door locks when installing an alarm.

bought two of these for my sister's car along with the viper system. they work just as they should. only took one star off because when the door is locked, the locking switch on the inside isnt completely flush closed as it was before the actuators were installed. the doors are always locked, but it's just a little aesthetic thing. doesnt bother her.

If you don't have power locks I suggest you have these installed as part of a keyless entry alarm installion otherwise its a waste of time.

This was an exact replacement for the one I had installed in my 1999 Hyundai Elantra 12 years ago. Any car part that lasts 12 years is a good part, so buy it!

I am very pleased with my decision to add power locks to my little used truck. Best Buy reps did a great job in selection and installation.
