It's one of those movies that you'd expect to see hosted on one of those late night programs, such as Off Beat Cinema. Astronauts land on Venus, which is inhabited by very pretty young ladies. I wouldn't call them prehistoric at all. They're very much like mermaids, except they have legs. Their pants make them appear as if they had fins. However, the scenes with just the male astronauts are boring. The women and the Robot are what you want to see. The movie only gets interesting when the astronauts finally land on the planet. If you like old black and white movies, this one is a must. If you don't like old black and white movies, you still might like this. It's from 1968 and it might encourage you to watch movies much older than that.
