With this monitor, my daughter feels more secure knowing her two little ones are comfortable and safe while sleeping. The two in one makes it so much easier to observe them than having two separate monitors.

This is a great product! This allows for us to keep a eye on both of our children at the same time!

I hated everything about this. No “cry detection” so my phone was constantly getting alerts because I had it on the lowest noise detection, which also set the monitor off at night when my son wasn’t awake. Awkward attachment to the wall that looked sloppy. The microphone was poor quality and my son couldn’t understand me. The monitor is absurdly large and wouldn’t switch back and forth to day and night mode, so it was always black if I wanted to use night mode when it was dark. Doesn’t show the time on the monitor. I prefer the app of other monitors much better. Returned and went back to my cheap Amazon China monitor that’s much better in every realm.

We have been thrilled to have these! We are upgrading from a previous model of vtech baby monitors and these FAR outdo those ones. We didn't realize how big the 7" monitor would be, but after using it for nearly a month we are glad we went with the 7" instead of the 5". The picture quality is great and the UI is pretty straightforward. We mainly use the direct connection but have used the wifi once and both work great! We have loved the built in night lights and the night vision for these is AMAZING compared to the previous model. The connection range seems to be pretty good. We haven't had any issues in our home, but occasionally it has a hard time finding one of the cameras. But usually powering the monitor off then back on corrects it.

As long as your WiFi signal is strong.. it's great, good for keeping an eye on special things as well as a cute lil ol baby

Do not purchase, one of the cameras out of the box will not stay connected. We bought this a few months prior to our second child being born, which means we are no longer able to return it. VTech support has been non existent.

2 months and the remote camera parts (2) get VERY hot, as does the plugs into the power on the wall. Waste of over $700.00! DO NOT BUY! Also anyone outside your home can access the camera(s) that is active.

This VTech baby monitor packs a ton of features in, giving you a lot of flexibility and options. Unfortunately, I feel like it's let down by the basics, though. I'll start with the features... there are a lot here. You get two cameras, both of which have two way audio, Internet connectivity, built in sound machines and night lights, mated to a gigantic 7 inch screen. Along with all that, the cams have a huge range of motion, rotating a total of 360 degrees (basically 180 in both directions to get 360), and a pretty significant vertical range of motion as well. Honestly, all these aspects of the cams works very well, and given the inclusion of both a respectable sound machine and a feature packed night light, along with wifi connectivity for remote reviewing, you could make the case for device consolidation here. Previously, we'd have two cameras set up (a wifi enabled cam for video history and convenience, and a backup dumb 2.4ghz cam for when the Internet goes out), on top of a sound machine/night light combo. These cams could conceivably replace all 3 of those. However, issues with some of the basic functionality keep me from truly switching to these full time. Here are my biggest issues with the VTech cam set. First, they all connect to power with antiquated barrel plugs, including the screen. This is problematic in real world usage for me for two reasons: it's just another power cord to have to lug around when we travel, and if we ever lose or damage the cords, the units are rendered useless. Every other baby cam we've owned (4 in total) used at a minimum micro USB, if not USB C for power connections. Second, while the screen is nice and big, it doesn't work all that well. It's VERY slow to load from powered off state, the video quality is not very good, and using split screen causes considerable lag in the video of both feeds. These issues are problematic for anyone like me that doesn't necessarily want to use the network connected features for the sake of security, and will rely solely on the 2.4ghz local video feed. Also of note you cannot set the time on the screen without connecting it to the app on your phone, which again is problematic if you don't want to do that. It's a bit confusing why the video quality isn't very good given that the connected video quality is actually quite good. I understand that non connected wireless video has certain limitations, but even compared to others, this one is considerably more compressed and worse looking overall. One final note I'll mention here is that the cameras have zero annoying lights on them. They have the aforementioned nightlights that are highly customizable, but that's it. Anyone that's bought other baby cameras, only to be completely baffled by an annoyingly bright lights (or lights) that can't be disables knows just how great this is to not have to contend with. Virtually every other camera I've used, I've had to retro fit with a ridiculous looking layer of black electrical tape just to make sure the room is as dark as we want it. Overall, this setup is very close to being the best, but is let down by some if the basic features that should work well but don't. However, if you're looking for a jack of all trades type camera that could consolidate multiple devices into one, the VTech cams are still worth a consideration.

However, this system is plagued with connectivity issues. The application has a hard time connecting to both cameras, and the application has a harder time remaining connected to the Wi-Fi. When you can get the system completely hooked up the video is ok, remember this is a baby monitor not a video camera. The two-way talk-listen feature works well without any distortion. You also need to take care of placement of the cameras. Incoming light sources tend to blind the cameras. The wi-fi capabilities of the system allow for remote monitoring. The application also allows the system to send notifications to your phone in event of movement and sound events, this also saves a snapshot of the event and video to the application. The cameras also have a programmed nightlight feature that allows you to customize the nightlight to your preferred colors and hues.

Finding the perfect baby monitor is very important for every new parent. I recommend this unit for the following reasons. The 1080p HD video quality is exceptional. The clarity of the image, even in night vision mode is very clear. You are able to see our baby’s expressions and movements in vivid detail especially at night. The pan and tilt functionality of the camera is a game-changer. It allows me to view the entire room easily. You can remotely adjust the camera angle using the monitor or the app on your phone or tablet. The Wi-Fi connectivity and remote access are what sets this monitor apart. Whether I’m at work or in another room, I can check on my baby using the mobile app. The connection is stable and secure. The 7-inch monitor is user-friendly with intuitive controls. The touch screen is responsive and makes navigating through menus a breeze. I particularly appreciate the temperature display feature, which helps me ensure the baby’s room is always comfortable for my baby. The battery life is impressive for a devise with high quality video. It lasts through the night without needing a recharge, which is essential for uninterrupted monitoring. The two-way audio is clear, allowing to hear every sound. The monitor also includes lullabies and white noise options, which are great for helping my baby fall asleep. Overall, this is an excellent investment for parents seeking a high quality, reliable baby monitor. The video quality, pan and tilt camera, and Wi-Fi connectivity provide everything I need to keep an eye on my baby.

One camera inoperable. Sound doesn’t work on monitor only on our cell phones. Monitor battery doesn’t hold charge. Etc.

We have one young son and a 6 month old grandson with another due in another 6 months, so we are not new to baby monitors. This one is a lot more high tech than our last one and it has a lot of features that our older one does not have. The set up for the camera was very easy...no issues at all. Probably about 8 minutes total and I was up and running. Pros - I loved that you could use the app or the provided LCD monitor. They both give you a clear enough picture to see what is going on. The zoom feature worked well for us too. I love the different modes as well including night vision. The sound options were great as well...a little static at times but overall clear. I use a mesh wireless network to provide wifi throughout, so I didn't notice any connection issues in my home. I didn't try to take it outside so I can't speak to that. I thought the thermometer worked well...it seemed to match my Nest. Cons - I didn't think the picture quality was all that great especially the night vision...I thought it looked very pixelated. You can see it's just wasn't what I thought it would be. My biggest complaint was the app. From what I can tell, the app doesn't run in the back ground...so if you don't have the app open...you can't hear what is going on. So if you are playing a game or answering mail...you have to flip back to the app to hear if there is any movement. The LCD monitor does but not the app on the phone. You also can't have individual settings...so you and your partner will both have to have the same settings...you can't specify per phone.

I have another vtech baby cam that is a similar model that came with a small screen and one baby camera and this one is superior. Even if you only have one baby, having two cameras is best. I have both cameras in my one son’s room. One up close and one across the room. It’s great because I can see what is going on in his room at all times. I use the split screen method and I feel confident that my son is safe as I can keep extra eyes in the room. I use two in the same room but you can use it for multiple reasons. For example, having a camera in the playroom and one in their bedroom (you don’t have to move cameras around). The monitor is large, clear and bright. Multiple viewing modes and you can control both cameras from the monitor. The only thing is that it’s a pain switching back and forth between the camera. There should be a dedicated button either on the screen as you’re viewing a camera or a physical button to switch modes. It’s a pain going in and out of the menu to switch. It can be done quickly but should be handled better. You can customize whatever you want including each camera’s colored light, music, sound and pan and tilt. Cameras are great. They are clear and crisp. Night vision is also crisp and I like how they automatically switch as the room lighting changes. Even if there is light but it’s not sufficient the night vision will flick on allowing you to see better. The night light on the camera also helps with viewing your child so I leave the night light on at all times. You can talk through the cameras using either the monitor or app. I noticed these cameras have a wider angle lens then the other vtech I have even though they look identical. I can see almost the whole room with the wide lens setting. The app is easy to use and gives you access to your baby cameras anywhere you are with your mobile phone. It was so easy to download the app, scan the QR code on the screen and the app takes care of the pairing.

I absolutely love VTech baby monitors! They are always on point and provide high quality video and audio when watching my little ones when i am getting my housework down. This vtech 1080p smart wifi remote access video moitoring stystem has a beautiful quality picture on camera! It comes with 2 caneras and a handheld device. It rotates 360° to watch every angle of your babies room and also provides tilting to see every inch of the room. You can play music on it, talk through it and it even has a night light. You can adjust the colume to your needs/wants. This baby camera is convenient and a must for any parent who has little ones. You can use it with the handheld device or even your phone through the vtech app. Setup is quick and easy making it up and running in no time. I love that it also fearurws zoom in camera so that you can see up close when you need. Overall i love this vtech 1080p baby monitor system for its clear video, clear audio, and ability to rotate 360° atound my entire toom with tilting to see every inch of the room! It provides sadery for my littles while i get housework done.

First and foremost I will say the sole purpose for getting a baby monitor is to easily monitor your baby. It is a no brainer, but sometimes the technology promised gets in the way of the base product. Vtech is a well known brand and I recall Vtech being the first brand of cordless telephone in my parent’s house when I was a kid. It makes sense for Vtech to be in the baby monitor business, and they offer the following features on this dual camera system: • Wide-angle viewing up to 135 degrees • Local or remote two-way talk • Soothing sounds and lullabies • Temperature sensor • Automatic infrared night vision • Volume control • Free live remote monitoring • 360 pan and tilt cameras • Nightlight Now, this system works well to have multiple angles on one baby or to have one camera system for two different kids. The included 7 inch color monitor screen will flip between the two cameras so you can monitor both cameras. In theory, this product is a homerun but in reality there are serious connectivity issues. When trying to monitor the cameras using the vetch app I would frequently be unable to connect or receive severely delayed video feed. I could live with this but the fact that the included 7” monitor also experiences significant video feed delays and sometimes can' display much of anything is a deal breaker. Add the issues of the cameras intermittently disconnecting from my mesh WIFI network and you can call this monitor completely useless. I thought this system would be perfect for me since I was going to be able to live monitor my baby with the included monitor and remote monitor when I needed to while at work. The lack of a live monitor at home is what puts me off from other WIFI baby monitor systems because I do not want to have to use my phone at home to simply look to se if everything is ok with my baby. The connectivity issues are to great for this to be useful to anyone as a baby monitoring system, unless they do not have the same connectivity issues I experienced. I don't know if Vtech could have solved this by including included a localized radio solution in addition to WIFI for when WIFI is not working correctly.
