If you’re like us and don’t want to hear every sound your kid makes, this is the baby monitor for you. My wife and I enjoy our sleep but we obviously worry about our daughter throughout the night since our bedroom is on the opposite end of the house. We have a Nanit for video and audio but with our phones on sleep mode, notifications don’t make noise. This monitor is great because it makes no noise until your child makes a decently loud cry. We have our monitor on level 1 so she has to cry for several seconds before the low volume will wake us up. Our daughter is a fantastic sleeper so we have a slight advantage but we’ve gotten her to that level by letting her cry it out several different times. She has learned to soothe herself and go back to sleep. She’s sleeps from around 7:45 pm to 7am. Anyways, I’d highly recommend this monitor but I would suggest having a video monitor as well so you can see your child.

They work great in our home. Can hear the baby clearly. Could even hear the cat when he snuck into the room while we were out. They have good range w/ no static or interferance in tranmission.

VTech makes great audio products and this audio baby monitor is another great example. These can reach close to about 1000 feet before it stops working for my experience. It pretty sensitive and can pick up noise from the other side of the room clearly. This is a great basic baby monitoring unit and comes highly recommended.

We bought this item when the mother-in-law became ill with COVID. Before purchasing this, we would have to getting up every few minutes to check on her and this allowed us to have a constant ear on what’s going on in her bedroom. She has another unrelated illness and now knows she can call us in the middle of the night when she needs additional help. The speaker is pretty good and the walk-in-talkie feature allows us to let her know we’re on our way, which is great. The batteries in the hand-helds last about 10-12 hours or so before needing another charge. Overall it does exactly what we needed it to.

The battery may not last very long but the sound is great and the range is good enough that I can go outside and work in the backyard without worrying. Great purchase for that price.

These are fairly basic, so this will be short. Love the product, solid range (indoor and out,) and it's clear enough to know when the child needs something. For the price, definitely worth the money! We went with these over the video monitors because we already had a video monitor but didn't like the time the app took to load, so we wanted something we could hear in near real time.

Having previously used the same brand with a model that required batteries rather than having lithium ion rechargeable ones built in was an expensive hassle that required constant battery replacement. This model is such an improvement that it's hard to believe that it is the same brand.

We bought these, for a second time, because we loaned our out and never got them back. I really like them because they pick up any little noise. They’re easy to connect and I’m able to go to the backyard while my baby is upstairs asleep.

My sis and I each needed to have a monitor for the care of our 87 father. She lives in a separate in-law dwelling. We already had suiccess with the single monitor, but tried another brand, ended up dissatisfied with that one and returned it for this model. Longest range, clarity, and sensitivity. We're well pleased.

Excellent reception and easy to set up and use. I only wish there was more volume to the receivers so we can hear it better while sleeping. Other than that, these solved a problem of monitoring a disabled guest in the house.

Easy set up as it was automated....Did what it was suppose to do...sounded great and picked up minor noises. Worked over several floors just fine.

My wife and I have had a couple different baby monitors and I have to say that we love this one. The Dual monitors are nice as we can keep one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. The sound quality is crisp and clear.

we purchased these to assist in helping us with an elderly parent that moved in with us. high quality listening where we can hear her breathing, she doesn't have to strain to get our attention and the parent units have the ability to talk back giving her the comfort knowing we are right there

I take care of a parent with MS and needed something that I could not only hear if she needed to get up but could respond to her as well. I tried SEVERAL other monitors and this is the only one that got zero interference/ humming and I could actually sleep at night. I love that it has two "walking-talkie" like handsets so I can leave one in my room and one that I can take with me if I have to go outside or farther in the house that I cant hear her. I only gave it a 4 out of 5 as this is the 3rd set I've had to but as the power adapters keeps dying and it's cheaper to buy a new unit than to get a power adapter.

We bought this baby monitor just before the birth of our daughter in February. Did not disappoint! Great range and the sound coming from the transmitter is loud and clear. No need to spend more on other baby monitors with video capability. This fits the bill!

The audio quality is better than I expected! And the range is pretty good as well. Keep in mind that this is an audio only baby monitor and it does not have a video camera. I was also able to get this on sale for forty dollars so it made my purchasing decision even easier.

Picked this up to monitor an aging parent while they slept/recovered from some health issues. Battery life is better than I expected, and the range is very good. The sound quality is, also, very good, but I wish it was louder. If I could turn the volume up just a little bit more, it would have gotten five stars. Unfortunately, I have to sleep with it directly next to my head in order to hear it well.

Being a current caregiver to my senior father, the VTech Baby Monitor has worked well when he goes to bed at night and I can continue to monitor him from any room that I am in. It comes down to peace of mind knowing that he is okay when I am not in the same room he is in. This baby monitor certainly gives that and I am very pleased with this purchase.

My mom had knee surgey and this little guy was perfect so she could reach me on the other side of the house! not just for children but great for when you need to be attentive to people recovering or elderly.
