The baby unit would not do as instructed to pair with the monitor. The night before it would glitch. The next day it no longer connected to the baby unit. I'll do multiple restarts, unplug Everything assuming it's my internet but no, it's a FAULTY Vtech device. A baby monitor that doesn't want to monitor anymore is just crap. I paid a good price for this too and that was wasted. BUT I did get an email following this purchase that i have until end of 1/2022 to return this. So bye bye Vtech. 1) the temperature reading is very off, by average 5 degrees. It'll constantly read a lower temperature than what it really should be reading. 2) the video quality is poor. My kid would move and the camera would not catch the movement until nearly a second after. 3) the audio is poor. My kid would cry and the sound would be delayed by nearly a second as well. THIS item was poorly made. Never again.

We apologize for the trouble. It is possible that your camera has not updated to the latest firmware. Please leave your camera plugged-in, then cycle the power on your router. When the camera reconnects to the WiFi network, allow it to sit for 4-6 hours to allow sufficient time to fetch and install the latest update. If your connectivity trouble continues, please contact us at 1.800.595.9511.

Fails to connect

The reset instructions do not work...it says to press pair button 5 times to reset but it says it is attempting to pair not another beep for reset like the instructions say. Basically another bad experience with baby monitors....
