    needed an inexpensive phone to wire up to my Verizon Home Phone device. This one was inexpensive but could not get the loudness I needed for the phone speaker or the ringer. Went back and exchanged it for another but upgraded VTech Might be OK for an extra phone in a den or extra bedroom for example.

    The phone embodies the essence of, 'you get what you pay for'. With that said, I didn't know you could have a phone without a speakerphone function..... I don't think i would recommend this item to anyone I liked.....

    If you still have a land line and looking for an inexpensive cordless phone this phone fits the bill. Easy to hookup and use.
