I did not do my research when purchasing this phone because I also wanted it to be a speaker phone. Just for my basic needs it is a very good phone for the price.

I bought this as a gift for an elderly gentleman who is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid. He is just delighted with the sound quality of this phone. His previous phone wasn't working well with the hearing aid, giving him double voice feedback which this one doesn't.

This cordless phone is absolutely a phone. I got home phone service with my cable bundle, so I figured I should probably purchase a phone to use said service. This phone works and makes and receives calls. In your home. I got it to work in my yard, too. Reception is clear for at least 50-100 feet, through a half dozen or so walls. At this point, I think it's kinda strange to have a house phone, having gone years without anything but internet service and a cell phone, but I don't regret picking up this phone. It's oddly nostalgic. Anyway, it works. Don't be afraid to buy it.

Not too bad for a cheaper phone. Wish it had speaker phone but it isn't used that much.

Needed a cheap phone for the cable company to use since they had a bundle that was cheaper if we got a new phone # for the house. Never messed with any of the features but it works. Took me almost all day to remember we had a phone when I heard ringing from my room.

I was just looking for a cheap cordless extension for my bedroom. It fits the bill and has good sound quality also.

I use it with my obihai service and It works very well in my entire house. The sound volume is softer and lower than I expected, so there are time when I miss the calls. Speakerphone option would have been a nice add on. No regrets making this purchase.

This phone has good range for a cordless. I wish it came in black.
