When using the T coil in my hearing aid (an inductive pickup) the phone creates a continuous buzzing noise in the hearing aid !!! I have 3 Uniden phone and NONE of them do that. BEWARE

The DTMF tones it makes when dialing are weird, and often not recognized. Often we have to dial the number three or four times to get through, and entering long sequences like credit card numbers is torture. Caller ID shows only the number, not the name, and getting to the history requires going through multiple levels of menus. Terrible phone.

They said buy a new phone, yours is old. Checking it out, the year is on a 40 year cycle. just keeping adding years in setup, till it rolls over. JR

Yes, I can hear the other end of the call but all you and the person on the other end hears is constant static, and there is no way to change frequencies! In today's hi-tech world with wi-fi, bluetooth, etc., if you are going to get a digital cordless phone be sure to buy one that searches for a clear frequency. Otherwise, go analog - never once had a problem with those phones.

Posted .Trish - Voicemail is a messaging feature from your service provider. Perhaps you are saying you wanted a phone with an answering system. CS6619-16 does not have an answering system. VTech makes many models featuring answering systems. You just have to read the product descriptions carefully to ensure you get the features you desire.
It was great while it lasted

Occasionally, I could answer the call by pressing talk and off repeatedly but most of the time, I couldn't answer the phone. If I did answer a call (or try to make one), the call would drop. I tried a couple of "tricks" suggested from the vtech troubleshooting website but it didn't help. I wish I had read the reviews on the phone before I bought it.

Horrible quality

I decided to upgrade and Vtech was my first choice. Brand new out of the box, the phone has been nothing but problems. Callers can't hear us at all - even with the mute off. Reading online this doesn't sound like a rare problem either with others complaining of the same problem. What good is a phone if the people at the other end can't hear you?
