This phone has nice big buttons and is easy to see. It was also easy to program the time and voice mail message. It looks sleek and fits in to my decor. The caller ID display is also easy to read. Great buy!

Great gift for my folks who were in need of replacing their old handheld sets. Great range, sound and ring volume. The Built in answering machine works fine. Very good phone for the price, I and the folks are very impressed.

Easy to use, like caller ID. Only shortcoming, can't retrieve messages remotely.

I recently purchased this phone because my old ones wouldn't keep a charge anymore. The one I was looking for would ideally have a corded component and two cordless. I selected this one thinking I would just get the second cordless at a later time since the package says it is expandable. Well, finding the part you need to expand is kind of tricky. There are several different vtech phones that look similar and you have to make sure you get the exact right one. Further it only seems to be available by ordering online no matter which store you go to. It works, but there are still better phones one could choose from.

i) sound quality is very clear ii) having a remote handset and the main unit with speaker phones/mute options make it easier to use iii) built-in answering machine is great iv) reasonably priced

Overall, I am pleased with this phone. Two disappointments: the cord on the hand held part was too short so I had to purchase a long one separately. When someone leaves a message and you retrieve it... it tells you the day and time it was left... but not the date. So if you are gone over a week, and retrieve your messages you will not know which day it was left. It does the job of what I was looking for. A hand held desktop style phone with a messaging system is not easy to find these days. So, I was pleased with this one and it came with an additional cordless style. So we can use it in another room. The directions were easier to follow than on the other style that Best Buy also carried. I wanted something simple and easy to set up. This one did the trick.

This is my second purchase of this phone. We use these for second homes that are in areas where the power frequently is interrupted. They have a neat feature that allows the base to work without ac power. Great value for the price. The base and cordless work well and have a good variety of features and range.l

It's hard to find a desk phone and we're very leased with this Vtech. The sound quality is excellent and the display is very good. We like the large buttons which are very helpful for someone with fine motor issues as in our case. The additional cordless phone makes it a very good buy.

My first "all-in-one" PC. Nice. Not happy with Geeksupport - I got my PC the day after Windows 10 arrived, so I had to update from 8.1 to 10 when I got it home. I got to a screen where I needed a Windows 10 authorization code. Geek Squad would not help me over the phone; said I had to bring the PC in. BAD REPONSE! I eventually figured it out myself and it was an easy fix - they should have helped me by phone. I now have another simple question but am afraid of getting the same non-helpful attitude when I call, so I haven't.

This phone has large number, lots of options for things like number of rings and storing phone numbers; and it is very easy to use. It shows missed calls and messages so you know of calls while you were away - all with easy to read script on a large screen. This has been easy for us to learn to use, and is a very comfortable phone system for us. (We are in our mid and late 70s, with some eye sight issues, and the need for an easy to use and easy to understand phone system.)

I just needed a simple replacement phone for our landline. This phone had the basics: a base phone with keypad, answering machine, speaker phone capability, and one cordless handheld extension. I do enjoy having the base phone with a corded receiver so I don't have to search around the kitchen for the phone.

I bought this phone as a replacement for a AT&T phone which has the same features .The AT&T phone had an antenna which always finds a way to get loose or fall off . This phone does not have the external antenna and works just as well .I find it to be a better value for the money.I have bought other phones that had the external antenna all had to be junked ,because of the antenna getting broken .

The sale associate at our neighborhood Best Buy showed us several different phone systems with answering machines. This was a gift for my grandmother, so I wanted the best! This VT phone works well. I'm especially pleased with the battery life of the wireless unit and the features/settings are easy to navigate.

It was important to me to find something with a speaker phone on the base. All I could find was cordless handsets that had the speaker phone on the actual phone versus the base. I've been in a situation where I had an emergency, cell phone was dead, couldn't find the cordless phone and there was no speakerphone on the base. Had to run next door to use their phone and they weren't home. Ithe was not good. I like that this has a speakerphone on the base as well as on the cordless phone that cane with it!!

The sound quality is very good and the style is very nice. Because I'm older, I find that it's not to easy to program in numbers that you call frequently. Also having to delete missed calls is a bother. If a call comes in but hangs up before the announcement is finished, it's listed as a missed call.

Easy to install. Good sound, lights up, don't know how to retrieve messages away from home.
