    Purchased for an elderly parent. They don't want or need contact lists, power on, send, and end buttons, etc. They want to pick up the receiver, hear a dial tone, punch in the numbers, and hear the call go through. This phone, while it has other capabilities, answers the basic function.

    I bought this phone for my 89 year old aunt. She just needs simple, loud ring tone, and large #s. Everything is pretty good so far except it's hard to see the screen for how many messages she has. She's just happy she has a cord less phone she can keep near by like when she goes to restroom.
