It definitely monitors a baby! The range is fantastic, I have to go outside before the signal starts dropping a bar. I like that it's not WiFi and the delay is only half a second or so.

If you are looking for a video baby monitor that is affordable and still works....this is it. It has a great screen for day and night. It plays lullabies, night camera, and you can talk to your little one.

Camera gets the job done. Easy to operate but picture resolution could be a bit better. Overall, I’m satisfied. Would recommend.

Works well and clarity is good! I would agree with other reviews that battery life on the monitor isn’t great though. I would say it’s a good product for the money!

I love this monitor! It tells us the temp in our baby’s room while letting see what baby is up to! The only thing I don’t like is the volume I feel like it could be a little louder

This is a great monitor overall. It is especially helpful during the nights, or even nap time, when parents are trying to teach their child to sleep without having to run to their fussing or cries. Parents can talk to their children through the monitor for reassurance and sooth them back to sleep. My son and daughter-in-law love it! It's also great for playrooms - it allows you to communicate to/with your child(ren) and their playmates while you're in another room, all while keeping an eye and ear on their activities.

Solid item. Portable LCD screen you can take everywhere. My wife likes it better then the Ring cam. I love the ring cam, so we have both. We’ve got that baby covered. Lol

This baby cam is decent. I didn’t want anything that needed internet connection. It’s not as clear but it works well enough to monitor the baby. One thing I don’t like is that the camera requires to be plugged in or at least when I’ve tried to unplug it doesn’t work. Wireless camera would be great. The monitor is Wireless after being charged so that’s the good part.

Works perfectly. Love that it doesn’t need Wifi so it can be easily taken on the go when we go visit family. The temp sensor is always accurate and the screen is big and clear

We like this baby monitor because of way it can let us know what is going on with our daughter. It has its pros and cons but we like the night vision capability and camera features.

Sound quality is good. Video quality can be better but not bad for the price. Microphone feature is good. Overall it's a good for the price.

Works great, would be better if battery lasted a bit longer though. I like that it’s not reliant on WiFi so we can travel with it.

This VTech baby monitor is very clear, has a wide screen view, and overall I would say outstanding, but, I wish the battery would last a little longer .....

Excellent gift for my daughter and granddaughter. She is able to do chores in other areas of the house while , keeping check on the baby on the monitor .

This is a really nice monitor and a great value. The picture isn't as CLEAR as it claims to be in the advertisement but, it works well and looks like any surveillance type monitor picture would. I can see my son just fine, and I like it. My only issue is that the microphone is kind of small and is positioned behind the camera, so unless my son is screaming or something, we probably won't hear much. Honestly though, it does the job, and crying is really the only thing we need to listen for anyhow.

Happy with the purchase. The LCD monitor's battery capacity is low though, should be improved in the next generation.
